Great exploration and scouting game with the traditional mudrunner formular. It has some superior mechanics compared to Snowrunner, like tire pressure, water depth analysis and now also a pinpointer for the winch and both air and ground drones. Since there are no settlements, besides camps, it is a little bit to lonely for my taste. It would have been great if they added some nps to the camps. None of my friends bought this game, but with multiplayer you can have a blast. For the CULTFOLLOWERS of Snowrunner, I bought this game to be an Expedition and I bought Roadcraft to build roads. Just because the game isn`t exactly a followup to snowrunner and therefor giving the game a bad review is dishonest and it kills the innovation of Saber to try something new. Every Saber game has it`s own premise, remember that.
Probably the biggest virtual universe created so far. No Man`s Sky is an astonishing game set in a simulated universe with trillions of planets. This game recieved update after update and all for free. After a rough launch it has evolved significantly since then. I bought the Ps4 version and had approx. 200 hours of playtime, gave it a rest and picked it up again on Ps5. Are 150 hours in because of the newest voyager update and found out that the expeditions offer great rewards and better mission structure. Unlocking the gas giants motivated me to finnish the main storyline. Have also played this game on Psvr2 and thankfully I have the stomach for it. Great game and hopefully becoming even better.
Wanted a more realistic-sim approach to No Man`s Sky. So I found Elite Dangerous to be fitting that role. Bought the Ps4 version in 2023 and quickly found out that the devs have stagnated further developement and that the Odyssey Update is missing. This disappointed me so much that I lost interest in investing more time into it. Due to the limitations of the Ps4 it is understandable, but newer consoles lunched in 2022 and the Ps5 can probably handle it fine. To say, we want to focus on coding the game only on PC lacks ambition after my opinion. Nevertheless I had one of the best gaming moments, when I was circling around a star **** up it`s energy to get home while listing to metal music. Due to the game being in a vegetable state I cannot give it more than 6 out of 10. Resupport console and I change my mind. Until then I focus on space games that evolve and succeed on playstation.
When I bought this game on Ps4 back in 2017, I noticed that I have been watching heavily modded cities on youtube and the console Edition is basicly a dumbed down version of vanilla CS1. Without any DLCs and CCPs I lost interest after building one city. Now CS2 is around the corner I picked up the remastered version and bought all extra content and I must say I enjoy the game. It is possible to build a beautiful vanilla city. We are playing it on big TV screens, so I don`t know why the devs made the menues so huge with fat fonts compared to the PC menues. The game is crushing every now and then, it is recommended to turn auto save on every 5-10min. There is a map editor, where you can create your own maps. That gives us the possibility to create real copies of several landscapes. Also that we have 25 tiles compared to the 9 on PS4 opens up more area to build bigger. The PC mods are running on the steam workshop, therefor they can`t just be integrated on consoles. Maybe they`rent even compatible. Let`s hope CS2 console edition will be as close as possile to the pc version and Colossal Order finds solution how to do the console justice.
Great game, have almost 800h playtime in this game, but found out that the head-on approach, always noisy, no stealth is mentally exhausting and stressfull in a broken world. So if the Division 3 becomes more realistic and immersive, the armor and health bars need to go! No more bullet sponge. Would also like to see how they implement more Urban Exploration, lost place vibes in the next installment. That`s why stealth and parkour need to become a thing as well. Massive Entertainment seem to be super socialist, alsmost cult like and if they want me back in the Division 2, they need to go based.
Kind of late to the party. I recently platinumed this game on Playstation. A selling point to me was the tactical aspect of the game and the third person military experience, which are unique for the Tom Clancy titles. Ghost Recon Wildlands feels like a warzone and my playtrough felt like I was watching a war movie. The open world of Bolivia are stunning and the different bioms blend together perfectly. That they chose a real place and a real problem instead of invented countries helps with the overall realism. There are two factions, the drug cartell of Sueno and the Unidad, a corrupt police force. These antagonistic forces work together two eliminate the Ghost Squad. We as the player are on the mission to take down this drug cartell due two a former DEA agent that has been killed.
Do we need Snowrunner 2 at this point? Roadcraft is truly the next step and an evolution from just carrying cargo trough tough terrain. Finally we can fix the envirement. Doing all these improvments we just dreamt about in former Mudrunner Games. Roadcraft has really realistic graphics and Saber are simply true artists when it comes to making believable forests. The weather effects are great and we notice wind like never before. Also the vehicles have working window whipers that automatically turn on and of when it rains. In Roadcraft your assignments and missions are well thought trough. Every mission serves a purpose and the improvments will restore the infrastructure on the map. Of course you will build roads too and the more you build the better you get at it. It is so satisfying doing all this busy work. I highly recomment this title and if you like simulators, grab a copy of Roadcraft.
My very first Playstation game ever, is in it`s eigth entry and as always it sets high standards for the franchise and for racing games. Highly accurate modeled cars with good looking graphics impresses once more. You`re met with a cozy main menue and a progression system called the cafe. From there you finnish various Cafe menues (Races and tournaments) to unlock new cars. In Gran Turismo you can basicly win and buy every car in the game without paying any extra money for car packs. Also all the tracks are totally free including the Nürburgring.
Gran Turismo has after my opinion the best Livery Editor and a whole social netwok attached to it. You can also design your own racing helmet and suit. The Psvr2 mode is a dream come true and what we never imagined was possible in the 90s. If you want THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE I encourage you both a sim wheel and the Psvr2. I hope Polyphony chooses to further improve on the Psvr2 mode so that the SIM community picks the VR mode over flatscreen, because I think this is the latest evolution of driving simulation.
To mention a few things Polyphony should get better at is the damage system which could be more in depth. Also tire pressure and temperature should be simulated.
What to say, first I want to thank Playground Games for releasing this incredible game on playstation. The series is in it`s fifth entry and some Xbox players grow tired of the franchise, so giving the game fresh air from playstation players who have never played Forza before is a smart move. Their opinion will be unbiased compared to former entries in the series and they will just enjoy the most realistic Open World racing game on the market.
The graphics are stunning and the Open World of Mexico is beautiful with four full seasons that change every week. The car models look great, reflections are shiny and realistic. When it comes to handling of the cars, it is probably the best handling in an open world. You can almost compare it to a circuit racer and the mechanical as well as cosmetic damage is in depth. This game has over 900 cars and the devs probably thought, let`s make a game and give the players what they want. From classics to modern cars, there is a lot to get excited for and it is not hard to get a hand on these cars, which I prefer over endless grinding. There are also story related missions and some expeditions which were really fun. Exploring old ruins from the natives whilst a storm was raging.
You also have savehouses which must be bought in FH5 and from there you can basicly tune your cars to your liking and the Forzavista mode let`s you inspect the car on close range. Very cool feature and most cars have an engine you can fully inspect too.
I hope they can improve furthermore in the next installment. Hopefully we will se another game of Forza on PS again.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown had several issues when it launched back in August of 2024. Game crashes, connection issues, poorly optimization, fluxurating framerates. Some of these issues persists to this day. Yet the developer Kytonn Racing are working on improving that game over time, surplying it with new content updates and listening to their community to make the overall experience better. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown takes place on Hong Kong Island. A chinese city known for their bloated real estate prices and highrising apartment buildings.
The Island is a good mixture of a buzzling city with ****, fishing villages and jungle forrests. From highways to dirt roads there are a loot of roads to explore. Test Drive has a magnificant road layout from six to four lane highways to get to high speeds, four lane highways with no barriers and two lane roads, as well as dirt roads. The game wants you to explore each of these roads and rewards the player with experrience points to level up. Kytonn Racing has been really detailed about getting everything right according to reality. How the traffic lights look, what color the highwaysigns have. Even the gasstations, where you can wash and repair your car has veriations.
The handling of the cars is a mixture of arcade and simulation. It doesn't get to the realism of Forza Horizon, but it does it's job. The sense of speed is really fast. You will get a tunnel vision going 400km/h with a Bugatti. There are not to many cars from release, but the cars already in the game are all satisfying, and some of the cars which I underapreciated or ignored in other games, got some more attention here in Test Drive. Yet they are too expensive, some costing several millions and hours to grind. I think there about a hundred+ cars, but Kytonn Racing adding new vehicles each season. Since the game didn`t perform well when it released, Kytonn Racing could have just taken the money and gave it a day, but they have a vision to turn Test Drive into what it once was. Test Drive Unlimited is not just about racing, but also about lifestyle. That means there are other things to do in the open world, like bying houses or mansions, clothes, going to the casino. (These things will be added later on)
Test Drive has some radio stations to listen to, even if the artist are mostly indie and most unknown there are some good songs there to listen to.
Test Drive has like no other game the option to lower the car windows, to use the indicators, to open or close a convertable roof. The game is perfect for cruising and can be used as a driving simulator as well. There are seasons in the game and in season two they added Ibiza, previously known in a former Test Drive Unlimited entry. So there is a whole new Island with a lot of sunshine, lovely recreated by KT. Some would argue that Ibiza is the better place for Solar Crown to take place, since Hong Kong is a really strict and orderly place compared to Ibiza that is mainly a tourist attraction. The game has overall issues, but this should not hinder you playing the game and enjoying whats in it. Kytonn Racing dedeicated a whole season listening to the fans. They **** their own plans and just added things the community requested. That is a good sign for the future of this game. There are some things the developers need to improve in order to keep up with the competition. They need to hire an expert who can fix the mirror reflections, because they look terrible. Also the car reflections need an overhaul as well as draw distance and optimization. So don't call it a day yet.
This game would have benefited from a wildlife of animals that players can spot, while trucking trough a beautiful landscape. Maybe an old lady working on these pumpkin gardens in Taymyr, Russia or an old farmer reading a newspaper at a gasstation. A character customization is also lacking. Besides that the main focus is on trucks and off road vehicles to maneuver trough harsh terrain and doing various kinds of tasks to help out locals in remote places like Alaska and Michigan as well as Taymyr Russia. The ambient guitar playing in the backround makes hard work very relaxing. This game makes you want more after completing the main game and fortunately there are plenty of expansions. Great game and a must play for all Sim enthusiasts.
Assassin's Creed takes on the nordic Viking age and their expansion, raiding and plundering of the British Islands. The Assassin's Creed Saga doesn't really fit into the nordic realm why this game would have benefited becoming a standalone or a brand new IP.
AC Valhalla could have been a good game if it wasn't for the developers including diversity and woke elements which ruins the vibes of being a viking at that time in history. Like women fighting in armor for the English was uncommon, if it even existed at all. Or characters having fetishes like hair sniffing, LGBT characters and much more. They excluded a male protagonist entirely "again", even if you choose a male character the whole game is build around a cocky female Eivor. They sold the game with a male protagonist on the title cover. This is marketing fraud in my opinion.
The game suffers from loading issues of textures on old Gen, why I recommend to play the Ps5 or Xb SX Version.
Besides the negative the open world is beautiful with old forests and Roman ruins from a prior empire. The game gives you much to do, building your village and making diplomacy with your neighbour's. The only downside are the side quests, which feels to me being just added to fill the game with content.
This game deserves a high rating, because I know it's good. But the game keeps on freezing on ps3. Reinstalling doesn"t help tough. The CD has no scratches and harddisc is fine too. It is barely playable in this stage. Hoping for patches for such an old game is hopeless. Gonna try out the remake instead.
This game is inspired by a great movie from the 70s. I liked the movie a lot and the game depicts the story prior and during the events of the movie. It has harsh language for today's standards and a lot of ruthless violence. The graphics are not good, also compared to GTA San Andreas. Nevertheless I had fun with it. Note you can no longer buy the game on Ps5 and when you owe a copy it has some issues running on Ps5. This game would make a great remake with modern graphics and mechanics.
Somehow Rockstar Games made a game where hunting, fishing, riding and being a cowboy in a fictional wild west is extremely fun and entertaining. The storyline is compelling and a great piece of art. If they transfered the same amount of enthusiasm to create and expand the online mode, it would be a thriving world there as well.
Days Gone is a great game, probably the best zombie apokalypse on Ps4. The open world of Oregon is beautiful, the graphics are amazing, the story is good and entertaining. On Ps5 it even looks better. Give it a try if you haven't **** it yet.
