Ghostwire: Tokyo Spoooooookyyy Ghostwire Tokyo is an 8 hour plus long first person action game where you play as akito whos been taken over by a spirit after you die.. this spirit offers to help you find your sister if you help him take down this demon… you agree, merge, and now you have these super natural powers… Everyone in Tokyo is dead, there are spirits around this open world that you free by completing optional side activities that also help level you up much quicker in the game… and crawling around this empty city are these creepy demon enemies that you have to blast with your supernatural powers and pull their cores out with your bear hands or with some sort of……. Ghostwire.. .if you stick to the main campaign theres nothing special here… infact the game would be pretty mediocre if you don’t expore its world.. thankfully youll want to… clearing these corrupted trees in your way, clensing these gates to unlock fast ravel points and clear fog to open up the world more… doing some great and also some rigiuclous sidequests which can really immerse you into this world… these are the best moments of ghostwire Tokyo.. immersing yourself into the side activities.. its just a shame youll so quickly grow tired of this world, youll get used to the spooky monsters, the sidequests will start to feel unnecessary.. the skill tree leaves a lot to be desired so youll stop caring about rescuing souls once you’ve unlocked every ability you care about… so youll probably find yourself like me abou halfway through the game jut sticking to the main quests.. which are good.. but nothing to blow you away… ghostwir Tokyo is fun through.. the combat is tense, youll be juggling through abilities, sneaking up behind enemies trying not to alarm the others… I loved my time spent in this creepy world… my only gripe with conmbat though is this skin crawling nails on chalkboard feeling when you run out of one of the 3 energies and have to switch to another.. I hate it and wish the game would just switch to the next automatically when youre out of one of them… as you do have to destroy glowing items in the environment to refill ammo or pull the cores out of enemies… Overall this is a decently enjoyable action horror game, its unique.. its memorable… Worth hopping into even if it slowly goes from wow this game is amazing to.. that game was pretty good.. I give Ghostwire Tokyo a 7.5/10

Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures The same game from start to finish When I first started up this nearly 6 hour long 3d platformer I was excited, the idea of playing through different fairy tale lands… but that isn’t what you get here in scary tale adventures.. instead you get what feels like the same level over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Go forward, collect coins, finds chests, collectable cards, grab keys, unlock the gate to the next area, every once in a while take down some enemies. That’s the game. Why collect these coins and cards you ask? I don’t know.. thres literally no reason to care or try to collect everything… there is nothing to buy, and the levels aren’t fun to explore so youre just going through these generic levels, to progress a boring story.. nothing exciting happens.. so you don’t really care to push on for that.. they don’t take advantage of the fairy tale world premise.. again every level feels the same so you don’t feel like youre even working towards seeing something new… I was bored out of my mind from start to finish…. And I dreded, absolutely dreaded the spongy feeling combat here… where youre bashing square nd using your power ups not in an epic or fun battle, but in a ugh, the gate is locked until I kill these enemies, so I guess I have to. I do appreciate them trying, you can tell some effort went into making this game.. again a 6 hour long 3d platforming adventure.. but no heart went into it… Pun intended this game ****… cause theyre vampires.. get it.. I give Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures a 5/10
Dying Light 2: Stay Human Just not that fun I loved the original Dying Light, obviously I had my issues with it and I hoped they would be addressed here…. And they just weren’t.. In a lot of ways things have gotten worse… This is an open world first person zombie game that took me about 20 hours to complete, and can be played wit up to 4 players co op… Youre a night runner, youre infected early on in the game which adds a layer of tenseness to the game which I loved, Theres a timer when youre in buildings or running around at night that have hav to keep filled with UV lights or the the sun so you don’t turn into a zombie.. this mechanic was never annoying.. in fact I never ran out of time, but I appreciate the level of immersion there… bevasue sadly this mechanic is where the immersion ends.. Like the original Dying light the world here just doesn’t feel lived in… it’s a mess zombie playground but even more lifeless than last time.. .a generic game world feel rather than again feeling like a world that used ti be brimming with life… I did love exploring the buildings during the main story missions, but nothing ever enticed me to seek things out on my own.. no addictive hook when it came to loot as every weapon breaks, theres nothing cool to find in this world, so why bother? Why not just stick to this super boring story? Which is what I did… One thing Dying Light 2 improved on is the flow of the parquor… It still needs works, its still frustrating at times, but it miles better than the original… and the combat is great too.. I loved getting into fights with my modded weapons, however the enemies this time around feel kind of brainless and just in the way rather than a threat like the past game.. and my biggest complaing.. I absolutely hated the second half of the game… running around in Dying Light 2 just isn’t fun… its not.. I feel like Im the only person who feels this way and I have no idea how.. I died more trying to get from point a to b, than I did the enemies once I finally got to the mission… I would love a more mirrors edge / modern assins creed style system in the future because I dreaded having to run through this city in the second half.. I didn’t mind the first half of the game where building were low and close like an old school assassins creed game, but the larger city.. awful… Overall Dying Light 2 is a fine game, its good, the combat is great, but the loot system is a disappointment and the story is just bad, it is.. I was non invested in the world at all… Youll have fun going through the campaign, its just a shame nothing in the world entices you to explore or to care… I give Dying Light 2: Stay Human a 7/10

Ryans Rescue Squad Actually pretty decent Ryans recue squad is a 3 and a half hour long 2d side scrolling platformer that can be played solo or with up to 2 players where you set out to rescue your friends, and this is one of outright games best games, which isn’t saying much, but it is saying something, This is essentially a babys first super Mario game, youll go across 4 different worlds, 20 different levels and different boss battles.. I loved the initial charm of this game, collecting sun tokens to purchase cosmetic for the charcters you unlock, fnding the surprise eggs to unlockthe ability to buy those cosmetics, I actually cared to search for this games collectables… this is where I found the joy to be.. again intended for a younger audience so the game isn’t all that challenging and there are checkpoints all over the place.. but I was genunly impressed at the effort here, from its fun under water sections, to riding dinosaurs… this isn’t just some lazy cash grab.. my only real complain with the game is that the charm does wear off and the boss battles here are actually lazy compared to the rest of the game.. theyre all the same.. dodge orbas, jump ontop of the enemy when it comes at you… why.. why drop the ball on boss battles.. other than that This is one of the very few outright games games that has my stamp of approval for your little one, There are so many secrets to find and cosmetics to unlock.. the level design wont blow you away, but exploring these levels can be fun. I give Ryans Rescue Squad a 6.5/10

Pokémon Legends: Arceus Too Much Story I love pokemon legends, the idea of an open world pokemon game where you explore areas, hide in tall grass and catch pokemon or battle them real time is more than I could have ever hoped for in a pokemon game, but let me tell you, the story just gets in the way.. Ask me what happens, I couldn’t tell you… painstakingly boring and just in the way, essentially you fall from the sky, theres a giant rift that you have to close, some pokemon are going crazy, you gotta fix it and of course fill the pokedex… and now were talking, now were at the good part, catching them all, Pokemon legends takes a little over 24 hours to roll credits, however thre are still about 2 to 4 hours post credits of gathering all the legendaries for the true ending so don’t think youre done!essentially you go into an open area, there are pokemon to catch and gather info on by battling, this fills up your pokedex and of course makes your party stronger as you go through the story.. and ther is incentive to actually seeking new pokeomon out and ctaching them with your hand crafted pokeballs, that’s right theres a super simple crafting mechanic here, youl lgather materials as you explore and earn them after battles, you use these materials to craft potions and pokeballs, unlocking new recipes as you fill the pokedex, its so addicting building your roster up, only for the boring story to get in the way, I was skipping through everything I honestly couldn’t care less what was going on, didn’t care to do any side missions.. nothing made me care about anything other than going out and catching them all.. and I really wish this was more of the focus, just let me go explore at my own pace, have crazy hiding spot for rare pokemon, that’s what I want, not lame bioms and checking bak in at the villiage.. but its fine, I still had fun despite the game contstantly throwing speed bumps at me.. and that’s ultimately my biggest complaint, I felt like I was on a chain the whole time compared to the freedom I feel from a mainline pokemon game.. and also, battles… there are rarely any pokemon battles with others in this world, which is probably explained in the boring story I didn’t care about, but still a let down, Im building up a team for what? Just to catch pokemon? But at the end of each story chunk there is a boss battle as well and these are awful you just throw bags of sand at them and dodge their attacks… super repetitive, I would’ve rather just had a straight up pokebattle… Pokemon legend has a lot going against it, the lame boss battles, the lack of trainer battles, and the god awful story dragging down the pacing of this game… but you better believed I loved the moments I was set free to hunt and catch, there are secrets to uncover, the battling system is fun, you even keep all of your moves your pokemon learn and can switch them out anytime youd like which I love.. allowing you to really play around with move sets or prepare for certain battles.. I would love to see this series take off. I give Pokémon Legends: Arceus a 7.5/10
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl my first pokemon game in a long time I havnt played a base line pokemon game since silver way back in the day, so I was excited to hop back into the remake of the 4th gen.. and while this game is great, its just not as magic as I remember pokemon games being.. The 4th en of pokemon introduces 107 new pokemon and none of them are really any exciting, as usual you start by choosing your favorite starter, and this time youre on a journey to stop team galactic whos going to these lakes and snatching up the regions legendary pokemon… and the story is pretty straightforward and therefor not really all that interesting.. Diamond and Pearl are very straightforward games in general, go through the routes, building up your team of pokemon which btw share exp from the start, so I had to do absolutely 0 grinding to beat this game… go to the gyms, take town the leader, get a badge, get an ability to progress through the world, an ability that you don’t have to attach to a pokemon to use, another change I love vs back in the day.. so no longer are you forced to have a party of pokemon for certain moves to progress the game, you no longer have to save spots in their move sets for a move you don’t really care about all that much.. But that’s it, that’s the game.. 30 hours of go from this town to this town… It was enjoyable but it was also a bit of a disappointment.. this wasn’t a world or story ill remember, there are no cool mysteries to solve in each town, they all kind of blend together.. This is probably one of the most forgettable monster collecting games ive every played.. That being said its still pokemon, its still addicting to build the best team possible trying to catch them all if you care to… While this isn’t a journey ill remember, its still one im glad I took I give Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl an 8/10

That being said its still pokemon, its still addicting to build the best team possible trying to catch them all if you care to… While this isn’t a journey ill remember, its still one im glad I took I give Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl an 8/10
Call of Duty Vanguard Pretty Hit or Miss Call of duty vanguard isn’t the best call of duty but I actually really love the direction they seem to be going with campaigns, this time about 6 hours which I think is a great length.. Vnguard sets out to tell a story of war heroes during world war 2, similar to the battlefield 1 campaign, youll go through each characters stories and it isn’t all just run and gun, there are some amazingly immersive moments here, great stealth sections through a forest, a section where youre a sniper, there are horror like moments keeping you on your toes as you go through buildings, did I love the characters themselves? Not so much, none were memorable to me, but I do appreciate the attempt to flesh them out, to create a series that players can look forward to.. the campaign again isn’t the best, but I did appreciate the effort here.. I appreciate the variety how each of thse 6 hours felt different… And onto the multiplayer, first off, lets just skip over zombies, I don’t like zombis I never have and Ive heard this year is the worst yet, si I hopped right into multiplayer.. The multiplayer this time is pretty bare bones, but hey.. I actually like that.. I like the simplicity of pick a load out, use that gun to level it up, go through the typial team deathc match, capture the flag, search and destroy modes.. however the gunplay just isn’t fun for me this year, the maps are pretty bland as well.. I did have an enjoyable few hours with multiplayer but after a weekend of play times, there wasn’t enough to hook me in like past titles have.. Call of Duty anguard is a great call of duty game.. Will it quickly b forgotten the moment the next shiny multplayer shows up? Yes, this will not be a staple in your multiplayer collection, but for the time I spent with it, its pretty solid, especially the single player campaign, I give Call of Duty Vanguard an 8/10

Marsupilami: Hoobadventure a Pretty decent platformer Hoobadventure is a 2 and a half hour long side scrolling 2d platformer and its actually kinda good.. Here you play as Marsupilami, you dodge enemies and obstacles, collect fruit for exra lives, and find each levels secrets.. all of which is completely optional, you can just go forward if youd like, though by collecting feathers you do unlock bonus levels, heres its all pretty straightforward, just a straight up platformer, smash boxes, again, dodge obstacles, collect stuff, and the game progressively gets more and more challenging so it isn’t just some mindless kids game, it does get decently hard towards the end, each of the 3 sections finishes with a boss battle, of you racing the stage, trying to get from checkpoint to checkpoint until finally you can take down the boss, gain a gem and unlock the next area… each level also feels unique.. they are by no means spcial.. but I appreciate the ffort put into this game. Marsupilami: Hoobadventure wont blow you away, but it will surprise you with just how good it actually is. I give Marsupilami: Hoobadventure a 6.5/10
Mario Party Superstars The greatest hits Mario Party Supertars is a blast. A collection of sadly only 5 of the best Mario party boards from Mario party 1-3 and a collection of 100 of the best mini games. I had so much fun with this simplified Mario party collection, you of course choose one of 10 charcters and set up your own Mario party, you can choose the era or even types of mini games such as skill only or family friendly only, set up how many turns and youre off, I love the control here, I love how despite only being 5 boards theres so much you can do to change things up.. speaking of changing up, peaches birthday cake for example has been modified for the better, with the seed choice coming after the star rather han before ,and giving you an alternate route back to the star again… and the mini games here are again some of the best, there wasn’t one I dreaded playing… The only negative is a lack of boards and a lack of cospetics, other than that This is hands down a must have Mario party game… I give Mario Parrty Superstars an 8/10
Bright Memory A great Peek into whats to come Bright Memory is a proof of concept for the upcoming bright memory infinite, theres not a whole lot of content here, only taking about 50 minutes to clear, I’m not sure if this content will be included in infinite, but the 50 miutes here is a blast, this is vanquish meets byonetta meets god of war meets doom, its crazy and so fun, you have 3 guns, and abilities to throw eneimies in the air, or youll yourself towards them as well as a sword attack, youlll be clearing waves of enemies in hectic fights that are made fun through juggling your different abilities, go forward through these linear sections, solving a puzzle here and there, taking down bosses.. its an absolute thrill.. I cant wait for the full game to be released.. The only thing Im not a fan of however is that while you do gin xp that can be spent on new attacks and upgrades, pulling up this menu to upgrade your charcter does not stop the battles, so you can find yourself in a tough situation realzing wait I can upgrade this, but you cant because youll die trying to do so… This is an annoyance I thought only existed in online only games, and for some reason that annoyance is here.. Otherwise I loved my hour with bright memory and its awesome that by buying this you get infinite for free, I cait wait to see whats next I give Bright Memory a 7.5/10

The Artful escape The power of music! The artful escape is a linear nearl 4 hour long narrative adventure, you’re the nephew of a legendary musician trying to find yourself, and a night before a big gig youre abducted by aliens.. This is a game about finding yourself as an artist.. youll go through these beautiful locations just rifting on your guitar, eventually getting to a boss battle that will have you playing a simon says like mini game.. then its off to the next area.. This game is again beautiful, I was so impressed with the visuls nd I loved sliding down hills and the platforming here, the story however I was kinda bored of after a while, wasn’t one that really clicked with me so I didn’t care how it turned out all that much.. But I still had this eautiful world to pull me through.. Gameplay wise this was my favorite aspect, it was fun putting on a little rock show for these aliens before sliding through some caves.. but if this doesn’t sound like a story that intrigues you, the gameplay isn’t enough on its own to justify a playthrough.. Overall The Artful escape is a good game.. Not one Ill think about much going forward, but at the same time has the potential to be one of someone elses favorite games of the year, I give The Artful Escape a 7/10

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R Kinda fast and furious Spy Racers Rise pf Shifter is a competitive arcade racer featuring 17 tracks and and 12 cars to unlock all with their own special abilities to help in a race, The campaign takes ebout 2 hours to complete and can even be played coop, obviously this is the more fun option and is the option I chose to play.. here youll drft and race to fill up a bar and as the bar fills up youll unlock a new offensive or defensive move, such as a paintball gun to slow down opponents in front of you, a paint bomb to slow down enemies on your tail, a nitros boost, and finally your special ability that have give you a speed boost, set a trap or spin out other players.. and racing can actually be pretty fun, these weapons make for some tense local multiplayer races, feeling like anything could happen at anymoment to change the tide of the race.. unfortunately the tracks just aren’t that fun or memorable… te design here is pretty mediocre and in turn the tracks get boring fairly quickly, I do appreciate the alternate routes and shortcuts, but lap 3 is always a slog, you just want the race to be over already, it stops being fun.. even for my 8 year old nephew that played with me, I he played through 3 of the 5 missions before he was bored of it.. Spy Racers is a dcent racing game, theres maybe a weekend of fun to be had here unlocking all of the chaacters, but not a racer I see you coming back for more I give Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R a 5.5/10
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy A Great single player experience Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a 15 hour long 3rd person action adventure game where you play as Starlord, here ypull be going through a vierty of locations with the other guardians of the glaxy.. of course on a mission to save the glaxy.. the writing an banter bwteen the charcters is amazing, and theres some awesome story telling across this 80 filled adventure, Youll be going forward through these linear sections, dealing with obstacles in the way and uing the other guradians to progress such as groot making a bridge or drax tipping things over or breaking walls.. and then there will be a fight, enemies will swarm you and you use your abilities and command the other 4 guardians for them to do teir special moves, and youll be able to fill up a meter to huddle up for some extra damage and listen to some classic 80s tunes while you kick alien butt.. at first this is all really fun, but eventually it just becomes tiresome, combat is so repetitive and a slog to get though due to how spongy enemies are, it just never feels satisfying and was my least favorite part of the game.. I enjoyed the traversing and problem solving, dealing with waves of bullet sponges, not so much… That’s being said, marvels guardians of the galaxy is a crazy goofy adevnute, there are great action pieces here.. the world is fun to get around, the writing is hilarious at times, and I loved the incorporation of 80s music, The game does overstay its welcome for somone not really a fan of the IP, but this is still a great game to run through I give Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy an 8/10

Happy Game Cute and Creepy Happy game is a little over 2 hour long point and click puzzle adventure game, and trust me I hate point and click adventure games almost more than anybody, so that tells you a lot when I say I actually really enjoyed my time with this one… This game is weird, here you play as a kid going through a series of nightmares, the game consists of you clicking on the screen and tugging on things to progress, no weird combing items stuff here… youre go through cute and colorful to dark twisted creepy worlds, trying to rescue your stuffed bunny, your ball, or your dog… I don’t want to show too much of the game so Ill keep this review short and sweet, this is a really unique quick 2 hour experience worth checking out. I give Happy Game a 7/10

Horror Story: Hallowseed Such a creepy game Horror Story Hallowseed is a 3 hour long first person adventure horror game wher you play as Michael, in search of his 2 friends after they go missing during your trip in the woods, from the jump, I was so impressed with how this game looks, now ont get me wron you wont look at this game and think wow how beautiful, but you will llook at it and think this is some of the best attention to detail ive ever seen esepecially when it comes to the forest.. it actually looks like what a reel forest looks like, I was having AN UNCANNY VALLEY MOMENT playing through the open area, really immersing me in, but then you get to this creepy house and this is where the rest of the gme for the most part takes place, your friends are in this house somewhere and the game basically consist of you trying all the doornoobs until a door opens, finding a key or key item inside so that you can go check all of the other door nobs rinse repeat, but obviously this house is haunted, so its creepy and unsettling. You feel like im fine to explore nothing can hurt me, but youre still not quite sure.. am I really safe? And then the games final hour happens and my enjoyment dies.. here lies the biggest issue with the game, the demons.. there are demons in the final 3rd that just pop up out of nowhere, the screen will go dark and youre supposed to know to immediately turn around, and I do mean immediately, you don’t even have one full second to react, and run otherwise you fail and are put back to the closest checkpoint.. another thing this game is bad at.. its checkpoints are awful, games should save after I collect a story based item or collectable, stop making me redo what I just did because you threw a cheap demon at me.. which brings me to probably the most frustrating part of the game, here I crouch, collect a key, open a chest, collect a page and another key, you then walk, the game triggers a demon, you then have to turn around in time, run to the area you got the first key, crouch, turn around and close the door… normally this isn’t too much of an ask, but there is no proper controller support, a controller will work for most of the game, but not for crouching, I had to use the keyboard to crouch, needless to say it was a nightmare getting through this moment especially because to my point earlier I had to recollect each item every time I retried.. another design flaw here is its sounds.. you will hear items such as a phone ringing around you can swear its supposed to be in this room, but its actually in the room a floor below you.. there are a handful of times where the sound direction just doesn’t match the location.. Overall though Horror Story Hallowseed is definitely creepy and definitely worth checking out for horror fans. I give Horror Story: Hallowseed a 6.5/10
PJ Masks Heroes of the night The same level over and over and over PJ Mask Heroes of the night isa 3 hour ;long side scrolling platformer where you play as all 3 member of pj mask, a mission starts out with a villain to taek down, you then go in one of their vehicles, and then youll automatically swap between the 3charcters, collecting these crystals to unlock a 3d model at the end of the level, catboy can double jump, gecko can lfit heavy objects and climb on walls, owlette can fly.. but unfortunately nothing clever is done with these charcters abilities, the formula is the same throughout the entire game.. even the envirnments are recycled, no memorable levels, its all basic and samey, youre in one of 3 vehicles tryin to not miss crystals, okay now youre catbow jumping forward oh no theres a rock in the way, press the button to call in gecko, now youre gecko climb walls, heres owletter, jump and glide, get to the end and just press the buttons on screen to confront the boss, over and over and over across all 16 levels, it never changes, there are no new mechanics introduced, no new obstacles… if you’ve played one level you’ve played them all… This isn’t a bad game though, this is a decent babys first platformer, If you have a young one and trying to get them into video games Heroes of the night is super simple, thinking is hardly required, there are no enemies and everything is voice acted, you will get bored of watching them play through though.. I give PJ Mask Heroes of the night a 5/10
Pokémon Café ReMix Gotta serve them all Pokémon Café ReMix is the new version of pokemon café mix, here you start out with an evee, you serve drinks for pokemon until theyre so happy that they want to join your team, once they join your team they will share an idea for a new recipe, once you create this recipe youll attract new pokemon to the café, rinse repeat. This is in a way a little bit like viva piñata, youre given a list of requirements to attract new pokemon, you complete recipes and drinks by playing a match game, there will be sugar cubes for example that you have to break or nuts to cracks, and each pokemon specializes in certain ingredients, so by attracting them and playing with them to level them up, youll be able to instantly break these items rather than having to hit them 3 times, But essentially you chose a pokemon and slide your finger around the screen linking as many as you can for the most point possible, filling up a bar for a special item that can be used to break these ingredients needed to make the drink.. its actually a eally cute game and it took me about 2 hours of play time before the game reminds you it is indeed a free to play mobile game.. your meter fills to 5 plays, and each ppplay takes 15 minutes to load, so oyure forced to take hr long breaks after each 10-15 minute long plllayyy session after you learn the ropes.. but I found 2 hoursss llplenty of time to tell me if this is a game ill care to come back to and attract all the pokemon I can or juuusttt walk away now… New mechancs are introduced the deeper you get and this newer version does have new pokemon to collect.. this is by no means a must download, but it’s a cute little time waster puzzle game. I give Pokémon Café ReMix a 6.5/10
The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf This games actually kinda good The Smurfs: Mission Vilea is a 5 and a half hour long 3D platformer that can be played both solo and coop, You play as 4 different smirfs on your quest to stop garamile, and decontaminate the village and forest around you.. And I was not expecting this amount of polish.. This Smurfs game is shockingly good, taking me back to the THQ days when we got good tie in games.. you get this smurfizer weapon that you use to clean the forest, and as you progress the game youl lbe able to upgrade it with rewards from cleaning the forest and optional collectable youll find throughout the missions, but essentially you just go forward, deal with enemies and obstacles, progressing the story on, saving all of the missing smurfs.. being introduced to new sections of the forest as the game going on, keeping things fresh, gaining the ability to glide and dash.. growing these vines to get to new areas, bouncing on mushrooms, this game is actually really fun, and cleaning up the forest and finding its collectables is addicting.. however, the combat just drags things down… at first I didn’t mind it at all, in fact I looked forward to enemy encounters, spraying them with my smurfizer.. that by the way tdrians way too fast even fully upgraded… but back to the combat, youll spray enemies, or bounce on their heads, but I prefer it more when theyre optional.. when the game starts locking you in with them, forcing you to clear an area to move on, that’s when they become annoying and combat starts feeling like a grind, especially since you cant just spray them all, some you have to dash through or throw things at, or jump on their head and slam onto them.. a more open world feel like the first half of the game kept throughout would’ve really been appreciated.. Because I did take them out on my own, I wanted to engage in combat.. its only when I was forced that I started skipping battles, dreading the moment I saw a purple wall around me.. All in All Mission Vileaf was a pleasant surprise.. It does get super repetive and over stay its welcome during its final hr so, infact I found the last 2 sections to be the weakest part of the game and the most annoying parts of the game.. But the rest of the game is fun to play through, and again you can play with a friend.. I give The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf a 6.5/10
NEXOMON A Great Hidden Gem Nexomon isa 15 hour long monster ctaching game where obviously you gotta set out and capture monsters to restore balance to the world.. I loved Nexomon Extinction so I had to check out the original, and I think I ihgt actually like the original the most.. Here you get a variety of starters to choose from and then youre off.. walk through grass to find more, battle other nexomon trainers, build up a party of 6.. you know how these things go.. and what I love so much about the original nexomon is that its so simple, you always know what you have to do, where to go because charcters will tell you, he go east, or north, or south of the map to go get the thing you need.. so all you really have to worry about ismaking sure your team is strong and balanced.. leveling them up for the area youre in, usually introducing a new nexomon type, all with a variety of rarities, and youll weaken them to be able to catch them.. and quite simply, I love it.. I love how straightforward it is.. cusing these 15 hours to fly by, I was surprised I played that long, and such a perfect length as well.. not too long overstaying its welcome… The owlrd of nexomon is not as magical as the world of pokemon, but this is still a greatly paced monster collector worth checking out.. I give Nexomon an 8/10
