Very enjoyable. Got the characters and story exactly right. Well, not exactly, there are changes but everything that matters, they still got it right.

Massive improvement over the theatrical version. It's pretty much a completely different movie. Goes to show that studio executives should just let the creatives create.

Best of the DCEU so far. Keep your preconceived biases of DC movies aside and just enjoy the ride. Definitely watch it in IMAX 3D if you can, it's meant to be watched that way. If you're a Aquaman comics fan, then you'll definitely enjoy it; the film adapts the source material very well. The development of the Aquatic world is very well done. The visuals are very striking and the use of colours are very well done. The action sequences are incredible as expected of Director James Wan. Jason Momoa completely exemplifies badass. Supporting cast are wonderful as well. This movie will not disappoint you!

The most enjoyable movie I've seen this year. This film not only reach my high expectations, but far exceeds it. This is shaping out to be my favourite/most anticipated movie series; I'm really looking forward to the next instalment.

One of the best science fiction action movie in a while. Everything in this movie is great (i.e. the acting, special effects, action, etc.), and the plot keeps you at the edge of your seat. I love the world building (e.g. the cool aliens, the war situation, how the world/characters react to the interspecies warfare, etc.). The plot is just superb; it just keeps you engaged as the plot unfolds. If you haven't seen it yet, you have to see it! This is definitely one of the best movies this year!

This movie is amazing. Fantastic production, awe-inspiring special effects, interesting musical nature, and a creative, complex, layered plot. I can only describe the movie experience as an abstract intellectual artistic ****. It is just so abstract and artistic, yet intellectually complex with its layered storytelling style with juxtaposition. I think most people don't really understand the movie completely; even myself (and I'm not saying this in a smug/pretentious manner), it really is hard to understand. (I'm still confused on some of it) I originally thought that this movie is about escapism, but turns out, (after studying other's opinions of the movies) it's about its social commentary on the genre/industry/culture. Honestly, this is one of the most unique movies I've seen; in the good way. The style/tone of the movie is awesome, the direction is superb, the music is great, the cast is amazing, the costume/props/CG is stunning, it has an interesting (and relevant) social commentary (on feminism, geek culture, etc.), and a plot that just challenges your imagination. **** Punch is ridiculously underrated (due to misunderstanding of its nature/purpose/style), and deserves to be treated like the art film that it is. I may even go as far as to say that it deserves to be shown in film school, because it's just so artistic and unique. My only complain is that it overestimates its audience, and didn't spell things out clearly enough for us stupids. (P.S. why is it rated PG-13 anyway?)

Great movie. Most people are just pissed about the whole Mandarin thing, thus the low score. This is a great film and deserves higher points. Great humor and good pacing. Yes, there are some things in the plot that doesn't make sense, but it's still enjoyable nonetheless. Enjoy it for what it is and don't overanalyse it.

I waited 12 years for a sequel to Monsters Inc., (I was looking forward to Boo reuniting with the duo) but we got a prequel instead. Regardless, I enjoyed it. This movie focus more on Mike Wazowski, unlike the previous installment, which mostly focus on Sullivan. The best part of the film is the opening and the ending; the main portion of the film is alright, but the start and the end is great. Despite being a follow-up, this film feels like it's its own movie. (instead of trying too hard to make it similar to the original) Has room for improvement, but great time regardless. 4 out of 5 stars.
