One word: Awesome. Personally, I found this game amazing. Currently have around 30 hours since release day on November 10th, and I can't be more satisfied. Game continues the motif that war never changes in a good way. The vast majority of complaints I see here are about graphics, or the dialogue system, or how it is a step backward for the Fallout series, or even performance or bugs. I actually believe this game to be beyond beautiful in terms of substance and graphics. -The graphics themselves are fine, with good quality textures and a nice theme. I think people like to say the graphics are bad because they see a lot of gray, but in reality that is just a feature that defines the wasteland. For those that feel that the graphics are previous gen, go back and look at Skyrim's and then reassess your life. Besides, if you're playing a game for the graphics, you aren't playing the game for the right reason. -The dialogue system has at times been annoying, but any complaints I have with it or trivial. For the most part it does its job just as well as the old system Bethesda used in the old Fallout's and Skyrim. -As for performance related issues and bugs, I don't see where all the hate is coming from. My experience has been great, with my game maintaining a consistent 30 fps in the most intense fire fights. I have noticed minor split second freezes after returning to the Commonwealth from a building or some odd, but never from just wandering the wasteland. From what I've read up on, updating your PS4 system could potentially help with this, or it could be a problem more rooted in the specific model of PS4 you own. As far as bugs go, honestly what did you expect? It's a Bethesda game and it's so massive that its bound to have kinks in it's pipes. Bethesda will have these fixed in no time. (I should note that most of the bugs I have encountered have been small graphical glitches; nothing gamebreaking) To wrap this up, I would like to mention some things that I found exceptional. Particularly, the atmosphere of the wasteland and how amazing it is. I won't elaborate on it too much as I would encourage you to try it for yourself while just walking around in game, but I can say it does a great job. Finally, the other thing, is that the map size is every bit as big as other titles, such as Skyrim. It may not look large, but it is, and it has every bit as much detail put into it as Skyrim, if not more. Conclusion: Amazing game. Would recommend to anyone who is willing to sit down and take in a story that requires more than the memory of some less creature to understand. Result: Proud retainer of said game and will spend many, many, many more hours in it.

Well, where to begin... This game tried hard, and it fell flat. I had a friend recommend it to me the day before it came out and I went against my better instinct and bought it. -To say disappointing is an understatement. It was heralded as a beautiful game, but alas I found the textures themselves to be a bit low quality and times and had frequent FPS stutters to the point of failing a specified objective (which I should also mention lacked any sort of variety, as often times you repeat the same 3 mission times in a story where no real story exists and the PBR of the main cast through scene capture is truly horrid. -The game is placed on a pedestal from other games (or at least as it is advertised), for being versatile in car manipulation and handling. The game gives you full wield over customizing your car's handling, but often times you will spend hours trying to perfect an imperfect system, in which things are often black or white in turns of true implications of any sort of modification. The result is a weird combination of feelings that more often or not lack substance. -The one decent thing in this game is the customization, but even that lacks substance. It limits itself to branding and other trivial things that no one with taste would really want to put on their car. It could be improved. Also, on a side note, car color is wonky and the sliders for adjusting color are both time consuming and ineffably inefficient. Conclusion: I tried my hardest to like this game, and failed. Result: Returned it and got my money back. I recommend you do the same.
