A solid effort from a indie with a potential for bigger things. Goonya Fighter is just stupid fun in a genre that I'm rather surprised hasn't really been explored much before. Much like a fight in a bar after many rounds. There's loads of variety here on offer with many different modes to compete in. It's best played with other live opponents but can be enjoyed as a single player challenge. My only gripes with the game was the music. It got a bit repetitive after a couple of hours play but this could be easily addressed in future updates or possibly a sequel. Worth picking up if you're a Twitch streamer!
