Very, very bad port. The game works half of the time, but the other half it is completely broken. You can't even bind certain keys - e.g cannot bind the SHIFT key to dash. Even with the recent patches the game doesn't run constant 60fps, which I think is very crucial considering the gameplay is solely tied to its framerate; there's a weird input delay sometimes, where when you press a button, the character would only then act 1 or 2 seconds later. I think the core gameplay of this game is ACTUALLY good, it just this PC port is bad. If you want to play this game, play it on PS4. Avoid this game on PC until the game is fixed and is playable.

A typical hack and slash game based on the infamous ero-series Taimanin Asagi and Yukikaze. For a mobile game - its alright and it doesnt feel like a cheap, and blatant cash grab. AFAIK, theres no censorship in the PC/Steam version but not sure about android/iOS versions. As of writing this review, theres only 3 playable characters, but soon are to be added. I just want my Rinko Akiyama lol. I hope there will be playable Oboro in the future as well P.S: the Private room is a factory for making cursed images lol

I like the waifus and fanservice this game provides, but the game itself gets very stale and repetitive after like few hours. Many of the environments in the levels are reused time and time, and there's very little enemy variety. The enemy AI is also kinda dumb. Storyline is okay-ish, but its nothing special if you've watched anime. If you want a better fanservice-y game with better characters and flashier gameplay - play the Senran Kagura games instead.

Pretty solid for a F2P game, but not perfect. The resin system can be improved. The rate at which it recharges is acceptable, but the 120 cap is terrible. Its like you have to wait for 12 hours to fully recharge your resin, and you can spend all your 120 resin in like 15 mins just doing few domains, and you have to wait again. The game gets pretty grindy once you get past AR30, but thats kinda expected for games like this. The gacha rate are horrendous as well. Storyline is alright. Also, why only support 60fps? Honkai impact 3, a game from the same developer supports up to 120FPS, so its weird why MiHoyo just didnt implement 120FPS support for this game as well. The best thing about GI is the rewarding exploration and the characters.

Excellent remake of a classic. Voice acting and story are topnotch. The gunplay is similar to the level of Max Payne games ; extremely fun and satisfying. Few issues with the game is that, during my playthrough, it crashed few times.

Great art style, okay-ish ****... This game can be super frustrating at times. Enemies constantly spamming AoE attacks with multiple status effects, super grindy boring & slow time consuming repetitive combat, way too many trial and error sections around the maps that CAN instant-kill your parties - things like this make game too annoying to play. I beat this game around 70 hours, though investing all those hours didn't feel like it was entirely worth it. Play Etrian Odyssey series instead, far enjoyable, more rewarding, and stress inducing than this.

A more faster, anime waifus version of Monster Hunter. The shounen-ish story (power of friendship, etc.) itself is alright at best, and the game does get fairly repetitive since you're killing the same boss type enemies over and over, but this game is an improvement over its predecessor, God eater Rage Burst.

Easily the WORST game in the entire Wolfenstein series. Cringeworthy main characters, extremely repetitive missions, brain dead AI and lots of SJW pandering. The only good thing was how stable the game ran on my system. The graphics look solid, but this is reusing the same graphics engine from 2014. At one point, i would perhaps recommend buying it at a HUGE discount (buy it when its $10 or less), but AVOID at all cost paying for it at full price.

My main gripe is that: Gameplay in New Colossus, is more "Take Cover and fire back" than the old-school Run-and-Gun style especially at higher difficulties. The issue is that B.J's Health is limited to 50 for 2/3 part of the game. This makes combat less, "fluid", since you're forced take cover more often. Honestly, I just used 2 weapons at most, throughout the entire game: the default **** submachinegun and the Assault rifle. Fully upgrade those two, and you can kill 90% of the enemies in the game. Story is overblown to becoming downright ridiculous and stupid. It's CRINGEY at most, and many of the characters are annoying, to be honest. In fact, there's more cutscenes than actual gameplay. I also have this weird feeling that, this game is CONSTANTLY trying to push its SJW agenda onto player's faces? Its kinda irritating. Since, I'm playing the PC(Steam) version, I suffered several crashes, which forced me to replay missions occasionally. My PC isn't the fastest, but I believe its more than enough to handle this game. (i5-4690K @ 3.5Ghz, RX 580 8GB) New Colossus is still a GOOD shooter, despite my issues with the game. But New Order, in my humble opinion, was still far, FAR superior than this sequel. Story & characters: 3/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Graphics: 7/10

Persona + Ys + Trails of Cold Steel = Tokyo Xanadu. Nihon Falcom gets features from other games and then mixes them into an unique blend, that is Tokyo Xanadu. Combined with Persona's personality system, Ys's dynamic real time combat and Trails of cold steel and Persona's setting, thats pretty much TX for ya. The fast, dynamic, real-time combat is what makes TX an absolute blast to play. It reminds me of the Ys games. The bright and colorful graphics, although rather dated, it's still holds up, even for 2017. The awesome soundtrack that kicks in during the boss battles is also perfect. The issues of whats preventing me from giving this game a higher score **** story and characters, the narrative. To be fair, story isn't really one of Nihon Falcom's (abbreviating as NF from now) major strength, but I still have to to bring this up. I guess, NF tried to make this game more story-driven, than just making it combat focused. Now, lets start by addressing the issues. First issue: Majority of the main characters, are nothing more than walking stereotypes. And then, there's the protagonist, Kou, who's personality is as bland as cardboard. Personally, I think a voiceless protagonist might have been better, in this case. Second issue: is the storyline. Man, if there isn't a mostly dull and generic storyline as this, Tokyo Xanadu does that. To be honest, I didn't find myself too engaged or interested in its plot, the entire 30+ hours of my playthrough. But seeing the past NF games which focused more solely on just combat, I can tell they ARE putting more emphasis into its story with its recent games. Sadly, this just didn't work out too well in my opinion. TL;DR Pros: -Excellent combat -Awesome soundtrack -Bright and colorful graphics -Great boss battles Cons: -Dull and rather predictable Storyline -Stereotypical characters, generic protagonist Gameplay: 8/10 Sound: 9/10 Graphics: 7/10 Story: 5/10 characters: 4/10

Quick review for Shadowrun Dragonfall: The Good: -Addictive avatar development (leveling up, gaining karma, etc.) -Enjoyable, bloody combat -Brings back nostalgia for Fallout or Silent Storm fans -Intriguing storyline and sidequests offered -Deep characters (Glory especially, interesting backstory) The Bad: -Lacking a tutorial for new players -Uninformative UI -Game World is pretty small -Battles are "tacked on" or set in preset locations, cannot start combat whenever we want to -Little items to pick up; can't loot bodies, can't open boxes, crates; only a handful can be opened -Enemies are VERY accurate; can hit you even when you're behind "heavy" cover or if you're very far away from them -Hit chance is a bit screwed up(even when you have a 70-75% chance to hit an enemy, you STILL can miss, most of the time) -Not for the players who LACK patience (trust me, you'll reload very often) All in all, Shadowrun Dragonfall feels like a much more weaker version of Fallout and Silent Storm. Shadowrun Dragonfall has flaws, but its still a SOLID game, and fans of the genre should consider picking it up, ESPECIALLY when its about $3 on Steam.

Quick review for RAGE: The Good: -id Tech 5 looks really good on some occasions (look very nice and photo realistic) -Solid gameplay as a FPS -Lots of exploration to do and secrets to find The Bad:: -Textures on some objects are blurry and look like it came from a 2000 game. -Rather short game overall (can finish it in 6-7 hours at most if focus only on main storyline), (doing side quests grant you extra ~3 hours at most) = total 11-12 hours. -Racing is extremely easy -Enemy vehicles(bandit cars, Authority cars, etc) spawn very fast - annoying to deal with them -No final boss battle (no big final showdown or anything similar) -No interesting characters in the game If you're a hardcore FPS/action fan, then RAGE is a worthy pickup. Others should stay put or might picking it up when its $5 on Steam.

Fallout New Vegas is an exciting RPG/FPS with an nice Open World. VATS make this game even more enjoyable. Any fans of series would definitely love New Vegas. However, the major issue that I have with this game is that it constantly crashes, freezes, stutters even with a decent gaming PC(i5 4690, R9 280). Even with heavy fixing (mods, patches, bugfixes to "fix" the crashing and freezing, looping issues) it still randomly crashes every half hour or so. Its really irritating. Things I've done to help fix some bugs: -Applied NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash fix -Applied YUP (Yukichigai Unofficial Patch) -Turned off all autosave functions -Ran game as Admin (Win7) After doing all above, the game STILL constantly freezes, loops and crashes randomly. Load a save file directly from the "Load Game" in Main menu causes it to loop the loading screen indefinitely. The solution to it is to start a New game then load a save file from there. New Vegas is really fun, Trust me, but the stability issues are so severe and its keeping me from loving the game. 5/10

What's with all the above average scores from the critics? This game EASILY scores at least an 8 out of 10. Fun vehicle and hand to hand combat, large open world, upgrading Max and your car is also very fun and addictive. I have already invested over 40 hours, and none of it have been boring. Story is not too shabby, but the gameplay is what matters more in a game. Not to mention, the PC version is an great port; runs at butter smooth 60 FPS on my mid tier PC(i5 4690, R9 280) with all MAX graphical settings! (no pun intended) All in all this game is very fun and deserves an 8, at least in my opinion

+Good graphics +Car dashboard camera view is cool -Terrible driving mechanics -AI is dumb -Hacking is dull and too simplified -Game world is dull looking and isn't really lively -Crashing to desktop too often -Combat isn't engaging Official game critics gave this game a very high score?? Seriously? I thought this game was for hardcore **** sadly, its aimed towards casual gamers... Even the huge attraction of Watch Dogs which is the so called "hacking" is far TOO simple, dull and NOT even fun. The "big game of 2014" is a big fat disappointment.

What is there to say? This is the old, addictive multiplayer game remade in high quality visuals. New modes such as arms race and demolition are a fun addition to the game. New weapons such as the PP-Bizon, MAG-7 and incendiary grenades are fun to use - and offers much more deeper thought of strategy. Even now, CS(CS:GO) remains fun and addictive as a game where players can simply "jump in for a quick funtime" with bots or friends in a LAN or over the Internet. This is far more better than playing COD clones.

Risen 3: Titan Lords

User ScoreRinShibuya
Aug 23, 2014
The first couple of hours in Risen 3 and I can honestly tell you it was no cakewalk; you'll reload quite often, combat is more of a chore than fun, and enemies are totally unforgiving. Even rats and monkeys can pose a huge threat to you early game. But thats all solely caused by Risen's steep learning curve it provides. Many enemies are unfair since their attack animations are 2-3 times faster than yours and they will gang on you - especially spiders. Yes, it is hard early on, but with enough patience, sooner or later, when your main character learns the necessary combat skills, your character's movement becomes more faster. Nonetheless, Combat centers around carefully timing your attacks and dodging frequently(you'll spam the evade button a lot, believe me). Sadly, the attack animation in Risen 3 is fairly slow, and you'll see the same three hit animation **** humanlike NPC or enemy who has a weapon equipped(Pirates, guards, bandits, shadow warriors etc) including yourself. In the game, you'll encounter potential buddies to bring along in your crew. They are all unique in their own ways and usually comment on the current location or situation you're in. And most of the time , its hilarious. On some occasions, the game did remind me of Gothic(since it IS from the same developer); the different factions you can join and their specific armor you can get by joining them, the points of interest to explore and the vast amount of side quests. Several side quests consists of mini-games however most of them which aren't THAT engaging and are usually pretty easy. Knife-throwing, arm-wrestling, drinking alcohol challenges, and even the lockpicking mechanism itself is a mini game. However, completing them does fetch you some nice EXP(or Glory, as it is called in Risen) and gold, so you might want to consider doing them. There are even naval combat which is quite annoying in my opinion - and they can't be avoided. The storyline is...well, fairly dull and uninteresting. The hero loses his "soul" and is an empty "moving shell"; literally a zombie. He then goes on a journey to islands to fetch powerful magic users to help him become human again. Sounds rather cliche, right? In the end, I was more hooked into customizing my hero's stats and skills. The game becomes addictive once your avatar unlocks more skills. In terms of playability, I did experience two or three crashes and occasional freezes from time to time, which forced me to restart my PC. All in all, it wasn't entirely frustrating. So my advice? Just save often. Final words: You might find Risen's generic-looking main menu(even some indie titles I've played were presented better)tad boring and the storyline which isn't unique. In terms of gameplay its difficult early on but trust me, this game could actually be worth any RPG fan's time, if they have the patience. Bottom-line: Anyone who lacks the patience and just "simply want to jump into the action" parts should stay away. Highs: + Very rewarding + Can be addictive + Decent graphics + Deep skill/ability customization + Interesting and hilarious crew members Lows - Steep learning curve - Enemies are very unforgiving - Dull storyline - Lacking attack animations - Mini-games are too easy Collapse
