Enjoyable at first but quickly becomes reptitive. Every encounter is the same - obviously placed cover with some grunts followed shortly by the boss. Game ranks up your gear just as you need it. Its linear, not open world, in case you're wondering. Dead world, nothing to do but go to the objective and repeat the formula. Really tried to enjoy it but there are no excuses for something so plain. I would be embarassed as a designer. Combat is fairly fun though.
I played for many hours with gamepass on PC. (I wouldn't recommend paying over £15 for it) Its quite amateur. The looting and gun play is Fallout but more outdated. This could have been released several years ago. Its a shallow game. The character movement is under developed. No ability to mantle, ladder use is not animated in any way, moving between environments isn't natural as it is a brief loading screen instead of being seamless. Exploration is limited - there's invisible barriers at water and certain other places. You cannot climb low lying rocks. All this leads to a lack of immersion. Its basically cheap fun for a bit, which is fine if you haven't paid for it. Looks quite nice though.
Really enjoying this. So many characters yet to try and its hard to call it a night. If your dismayed by people saying there are too few maps then don't worry. Not only are the current ones great but each game is fresh as tram play makes each battle different. Remember: Blizzard has confirmed that future maps and heroes for the game will be free content patches, not paid DLC releases.
Well, I'm enjoying it but shocked at the low resolution, it really looks dated and detracts from the emersion. After Oblivion I was expecting a step up on the graphics but its pretty similar. Should have waited for Borderlands two, the original has far better textuals than this venture.
The was an extremely disappointing release. When you start the game you are impressed by the visuals and game mechanics. It soon becomes clear however that it is nothing like Borderlands and is far from open world like many previews led us to believe. The weapons are great and the drivings pretty good but that's where it ends. This game is very linear - you go from A-B and back, you cannot wonder from your mission and explore. And that's it. Its very basic and very easy. You require materials to build things such as door grinders - these are always made available when you need them so that's no challenge. Borderlands came out over two years ago and is still are far better game. All in all a great idea badly executed.
There's no accounting for taste but come on! Sure this can be fun at times but when you turn invisible and the enemy suddenly stop looking for you and you just keep repeating the same old camo and kill routine its time to admit that its not great.
The first Crysis was far better as the enviroments were more open world and obviously it was a new concept. The urban setting is getting old and is quite boring.
Graphics are nothing to write home about. Anyone who plays PC games too will not be impressed by them. Disappointing on the whole, I traded it in quickly having grinded half way through and finally decided there are better games to be playing.
This is basicly Forza 3. Nothing new here except drift which holds no enjoyment and is really just hard graft to earn the points to progress. The Forza tracks are better looking. If your looking for a next gen racer or something altogether refreshng this is a no no. Its been done better before.
