It’s the last great resident evil game to be made. I’m sorry, but the modern ones just don’t cut it. You want an interesting game, with fantastic representations of zombies everywhere, actual horror that will make you afraid of the dark, and a main playable protagonist who is somehow universally loved? (In both a normal and obsessive way.) well here you have it; you won’t regret buying this game.
Wow. Where do I start? Call of duty black ops has been a corpse since the 4th entry. But OF COURSE activation just had to dig up the corpse and stab it to death a million times again. As soon as I saw the trailer way before launch, I was IMMEDIATELY filled with dread. Why on earth would anybody waste their hard earned money on this absolute TRAIN WRECK?! Like I’m sorry, but surely you can’t be that manipulated by such a scumbag company that you would think on launch day that this GARBAGE which, let I remind you, REMOVED SINGLE-PLAYER (so basically activation decapitated the corpse that is called of duty) could maybe be better than black ops 6?? This “game” is an insult to war-FPS games. It’s an insult to the original COD fans. Do *NOT* buy this trash. TRUST ME! I’m the guy that usually loves games people typically hate! (I.e sonic R, dead space 3, Sonic 3D, carmigeddon 64, dead rising 4) But even I can tell when a game is ACTUALLY just complete and utter garbage. And that description fits COD BO7 perfectly. Activision, please for the LOVE OF GOD just leave COD to rest.
It’s an alright shooter. To be fair, I am biased towards preferring retro games (1970’s-2009), as I absolutely despise modern gaming wholeheartedly, but I don’t think this game is bad or anything. The single player campaign is great all things considered, and the environments look cool. I like the futuristic theming, but beyond that I don’t have much to say really.
Eh…it’s not a bad game but it’s definitely shying away from the zombie aspect of the older resident evil games that made them so amazing, like modern resident evil titles do, so it doesn’t really have that same fun horror aspect the older Main 4 do.
A solid sequel to fallout 3. I especially liked the doctor at the beginning, he looked like a grandad and that was genuinely a nice touch. If you like fallout 3, you’ll love this game.
I thought this wasn’t a game for me before I bit the bullet and brought it based off of a recommendation from a friend. And my god do I not regret purchasing this game. It is an utter masterpiece. That line, “war never changes” is permanently imprinted in my brain from playing this game a ton. Sure, it shows it age with the graphics, but I think that gives it a charm no modern game has. If you like fighting enemies, deep lore, side quests, and open-world games, buy it. Your not going to regret it.
It’s an alright game, all things considered. The controls work, the music is nice, the level designs are alright and the gameplay isn’t offensive. It’s not the greatest game I’ve ever played, and mostly can only really be enjoyed by children or diehard TMNT fans, but the voice lines do get rather annoying since they’re repeated over and over again.
This quite honestly, is just a crummy little kids game. The intro cutscene is pretty nice, and the graphics are great for a kids game all things considered, it’s the gameplay and controls where the game looses notability. The gameplay is boring and quite honestly dull. The controls are absolutely horrendous. Half the time it won’t allow you to jump onto a platform although you’re clearly pressing the right button. Don’t buy this if you’re older than 7, because you will be frustrated endlessly.
[Copied from my old account] I will go out on a record here and say that i generally like this game. Still a horror game, although with a couple strange design choices, and the horrendous inclusion of microtransactions (because god forbid EA makes a game these days that isn’t trying to scam the player out of their money) don’t believe it’s the ‘horrible series-killer’ that everyone makes it out to be; because it is frankly not a bad game. It plays fine, it looks great, the enemies are pretty cool, and the weapons a pretty alright too. This game is definitely underrated, and deserved so much more love for its visceral experience than it received.
[Copied from my old account] This game is the first coming back with a vengeance. It’s phenomenal. The developers took everything from the first game and made everything better. They upped the antics, the terror and the foreboding atmosphere, while also managing to fit in a much needed easier save mechanic.
[Copied from my old account] As a horror enthusiast, I can confirm this game is an excellent example of a perfect horror game. It does bug me when it’s referred to as being apart of zombie media, which it is *NOT*, but it’s quite the experience. the game perfectly blends a terrifying atmosphere with fear inducing sound effects, demented creatures that make your hairs stand on end when you encounter them, and a constant feeling of doom and despair to produce the perfect example of what a horror game SHOULD be like; none of that ‘poppy playtime’ or ‘garten of Ban-Ban’ trash. If you don’t want to sleep tonight, play this game. And for a bit of extra flair? Play it home alone in a dark, and I mean pitch black dark room.
[Copied from my old account] I cannon express how much I love this game and its predecessor. They are both quite utterly perfect. How on earth valve made this masterpiece just a year after the phenomenal success that is L4D1 is beyond me. This game is pure adrenaline and carnage-causing fun. I personally love both games equally (although I prefer the melee weapons and some levels of L4D2 over the guns and some of the levels of L4D1) the music is fantastic. The characters are fantastic. The levels and atmosphere are fantastic. The use of environmental storytelling in both games in apposed to books is interesting and unique, and I just cannot describe how extremely enjoyable it is to play this game

[copied from my old account] This game, this one game, will always be a nostalgic favourite. Pocket edition was the first ever version of Minecraft I ever played as a child, back in early 2014 when my younger cousin pushed his tablet in my face and showed me the wonderful world that was on that highly damaged screen in hindsight. Minecraft as a game will always hold a special place in my heart, especially this version, because it is the very version that introduced me to the world of sandbox games. Its gameplay loop is fun, allows for endless imagination and exploration, and, surprisingly, it also teaches you about measuring the length of something via trying to make your boxy house look less wonky. The graphics of this game in general have largely stayed the same, and although I despise modern Minecraft, being heavily skewed to the retro side of gaming, I can appreciate that despite its shortcomings with newer updates that add too many dull, realistic mobs, or too many block types that damage the creativity you can only achieve through limited resources, this game is still fantastic. This rating also stands for the console ports (PS3, 360, PS4, Wii U, Xbox one) all of which are great (besides the switch one which is buggy and slow as hell for some reason??) minecraft has a lot going for it. It’s good for kids, good for those on the spectrum, good for adults- like really, anybody can enjoy this game. Unless you don’t like sandbox games, which in that case, fair enough, you do you, I’d totally recommend! However, I must just mention that in recent years Mojang ruined the mobile controls and made the digital buttons really janky but if you can get past that, then you’re fine.
[copied from my old account] this game is quite honestly, gold. Not only is it a fantastic zombie-crusher, but like its sequel, it’s also rather funny, too. This game doesn’t take itself seriously in the combat side of things and that’s what gives it such a charm. There’s really nothing like whacking a zombie in the face with a mannequin. I also quite like the photo-taking aspect of this game, as it adds quite a bit to the already hilariously fun gameplay and fantastic storyline loop. 10/10, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s as much of a fan of zombie media as myself. However, I must say, that helicopter dudes face is rather….demented? It’s both a weird, yet hysterical introduction to the game.
[copied from my old account) I really don’t understand the people who hate this game, because as someone who is obsessed with zombie media, I can confirm, this game is pure gold. Not only is it a super fun zombie-slashing game with a fantastic storyline, but it’s also hysterical. This game doesn’t take itself seriously and it’s absolutely amazing. You can literally beat up zombies with a giant, pink, plush elephant. It’s funny! Everything possible is a weapon in this game. Cardboard box? Weapon. Mannequin? Weapon. Trolly? Also a weapon! 10/10, a super fun time.
