Great chill sim for a beginner. Driving feels smooth even with controller, city feels alive. Although the map is not that big, it's pretty condense with every part of it with its own character feel and sound. Can't wait for DLCs

GOTY contender already. With unique mechanics and satisfying gameplay, the only point that separates from perfection is performance. But since gameplay is slow and methodical, that's not an issue.

Enjoyed the game more than Prime 1. Feels more modern, atmospheric and approachable. Some game design choices feel dated, but it's still so much fun. Not perfect but fun. Finished with 18 hours, 100% items, 88% scans.

Never played Snowrunner/Mudrunner game before and never expected to like it. I understand the arguments about barely any new stuff here for the veterans, and maps to explore, DLC cars etc. ,but for a newbie. Damn. This game got me hooked for days. Aside for a few interface bugs, once you get into exploring mechanics and car customization - it never lets you go. What a joy to finally get your equipment, car type and route planned right after getting stuck. So glad i found this genre.

One of the most boring games I've ever played with huge amounts of uningaging filler text. And it crashes every hour. Unfortunately it's impossible to get refund on Switch.. I'm quicksaving after every fn dialogue, it crashes every hour or so. And how is this game is considered masterpiece is beyond me. At some point you have to run from one character to another within the same fn building back and forth like 5 times and there are 3 30 second loading screens between them with a 20% chance to crash. What the f!

Almost perfect and definitely GOTY. I hope it sells well, it's important to show that these kinds of games - well designed singleplayer works of art worth their millions much more than those that rely on various kinds of scummy mechanics. This game is classic metroid fun from beginning to the very end.

Fine short melancholic game, which gets more depressing the more you play it. Loneliness, faster flow of time, the whole feeling of swimming against the current as you age are well conveyed here. Framerate dropped signifficantly during the last part of the game, made it a bit less comfortable to play.

Average linear shooter. Although graphically looks quite impressive for Switch, it's quite uncomfortable to play. It's too dark, framerate is around 27-30 fps, npc voices often overlap - hard to concentrate. Level design - hit and miss: very poor use of lighting to mark areas or objects necessary for progression. Didn't quite care about the story or characters either. Stopped playing midway though at swamps at night where its near impossible to navigate and search for filters and fight at the same time. Zero enjoyment and a waste of time at this point.

As a fan of the original, never expected to enjoy SMBF this much, but it's really good. Main downside - sudden difficulty spikes or uneven difficulty due to procedural generation - sometimes it's even harder to A+ first world levels than the last. It has a lot of nods to the original, bosses and cartoons between the worlds are absolutely incredible (bosses here are BETTER compared to SBM), soundtrack and general vibe are very SMB-like. Autorunning kinda limits the movement but at the same time provides new challenge. Overall design is well-thought, controls are mostly on point, never unfair. Not a masterpiece like the original, but nice treat for the fans.

What's with these people hating autorunners? It's NOT crappy mobile autorunner, this is a well designed game with autorunning mechanic. And it's a well damn good platformer - tough as nails and fair. Coming from the guy who beat every Cotton Valley Dark World level. Main downside - sudden difficulty spikes or uneven difficulty due to procedural generation - sometimes it's even harder to A+ first world levels than the last. It has a lot of nods to the original, bosses and cartoons between the worlds are absolutely incredible, soundtrack and general vibe are very SMB-like. Autorunning kinda limits the movement but at the same time provides new challenge. There are plenty SMB-like platformers like The End is Nigh, Celeste and there's nothing wrong in taking sequel to the new territory. Stop with this 0-5 BS, the game is GOOD. Not great like the original, but good enough!

The majority of low scores came from people who didn't actually play the game, they knew about the leaks or watched story pieces on streams and rushed to bomb it as soon as reviews opened up. In terms of actual gameplay - this is evolution in every sense imaginable: graphics, pacing, animation, game and level design. All these things are polished to perfection. Yes, some character choices and story moments are controvercial, but they are always emotional, they make you care and think about what's happening. Some moments felt forced and unnatural, but they never distracted from overall satisfaction. Flawed masterpiece would be the best way to describe it.

Buy only if you enjoy picross... If you had a pleasure experiencing masterful Phoenix Wright, the story here has nothing to offer and the dialogues are among weakest I saw in VN. No shocks, no twists, everything's quite predictible and safe or you just don't care. Characters are not that interesting either, Visual design is fine, but models lack variety. Price is fine though...

Writing in general is fine and you kinda have freedom of choice, but there is no spice in dialogues. Everything feels too safe. Sexual stuff is a no-no, everyone's too polite and conserved. It's filled with strong females, guys here almost always either corrupt or dumb or gay. SJW agenda all over the place. No shockers, no surprices. The only surprice is how unintresting the game is considering such high praise and scores. It feels like creators were beeing overly cautious about what they say and what they show, and that's boring. Sometimes art should be provocative and uncomfortable.

Absolutey loved Uchikoshi's Zero Escape Series and Danganronpa. I have a thing for visual novel games mixed with puzzle and various other mechanics. This however felt uneventful and kinda boring from the beginning. 8 hours in and I still couldn't get into the game. Story feels dragged-out, filled with exposition, it's just not rewarding enough for a time you put into it.

It's hardly a game, it feels like a short interactive story with unique narrative design. I love when the story mixes up with some gameplay elements like puzzles, but here you just walk and look around. Environments are packed with huge amount of very nuanced stuff and it's hard not to appreciate attention to details. The game is extremely short though, about 2 hours, and it's hard to connect with the characters for such a short time. Ending felt too predictable. Felt that 20Eur is too much for such a short experience.

Pre-ordered the game based on glaring PS4 and PC reviews. Waited for it for so long to play on Switch hand-held. It is absolutely unplayable even in earlier areas. Visuals are blurry and janky, long load times and it couldn't even hold 30 FPS! 40 Euros wasted.

Easily one of the best experiences I had this year. People saying that game "drags" more than it should, but after finishing it I only wish if i could erase my memory and replay it again without bruteforcing certain characters/fates, and took more time with it. Every single soul in this game is a separate puzzle and everything fits in place perfectly if you're observant enough. Music is beautiful, sound design, mixing and voice acting are just perfect. True indie Gem. The only sad thing is that you have to wait for at least another couple of years until Pope comes out with another Game...hopefully.

Although I see where the appeal is, due to poor editing interface puzzles feel more like work, doesn't bring much satisfaction or enjoyment. It's uncomfortable to play on smaller screens, forces you to go back to your desktop with your big monitor and I have plenty of that during my day job.
