Always Shine8

When I saw the difference between audience and critics' ratings, It immediately got me interested. All those sites, that use audience scores (IMDB and etc.) gave this movie criminally low ratings. Yes, of course, the movie is an obvious unofficial remake of Ingmar Bergman's Persona (1966), premise, plot, even poster seems very familiar, but still, acting is phenomenal and stands on it's own. Takal manages to get the best performances from these non-mainstream actresses, and does it in most Bergman way possible. Best unofficial remake of ,,Persona", and kind of a prequel to ,,Mulholland Drive"

In a Valley of Violence7

Nothing Special, Just an old fashioned Western with its cliches and trademarks from Leone and Corbucci. Also music sounds just like the themes from Ennio Morricone. Yojimbo+Mad Max+ The Dollar trilogy+ Rambo: First Blood = In a Valley of Violence

Hell or High Water8

Nothing new and special, but still, very good modern Western, with three great performances, real Mexican Duel between Pine, Bridges and Foster. Also, soundtrack by Nick Cave is phenomenal, he must do more work in this genre.

The New World8

Directing of Terrece Malick + cinematography of Lubezki = Masterpiece of visual narrative. Acting is also top class. But screenplay lacks structure, also, I've seen the 172 minute version of The New World, and I must say, that it's almost impossible to watch this movie in one day, without a break. I'd give 7, but cinematography and visuals are too damn good.

Beasts of No Nation9

Beasts of No Nation is visually stunning picture full of emotions and top class performances. Movie is masterfully directed by Cary ****, who has once shown as that Man is the cruelest animal. Story reminds me of Full Metal Jacket's second part. Besides the realistic screenplay, I must praise **** direction and great Cinematography. Movie is extremely brutal and has bit overlong run-time, but still, one of the best War-themed movies ever, and surely, best in 2015.
