My Chinese wife encouraged me to buy this game because she wanted to watch me play it. She grew up with stories like the Legend of WuKong, which is one of the classic bedtime tales told to kids in China. But let’s talk about the game itself—it has some issues. At best, I’d rate this game a 5 out of 10 right now. It’s a Souls-like game but feels incomplete. There are no hidden passages, secret dialogues, or any other rewarding discoveries that you’d expect in this genre. The game suffers from noticeable FPS drops, especially when moving the camera, opening the inventory, or near waterfalls. These performance issues need urgent fixing. The English localization is subpar, so I switched to Chinese audio with English subtitles. Unfortunately, WuKong’s voice is extremely sharp and quite annoying. Despite the flaws, I still want to support Chinese gaming as it’s my second country. Keep up the hard work, but there’s room for improvement!
Pre-ordered it for my girlfriend. She stopped playing cause clothes/gears are not pretty enough. So i am playing it with ugly af clothes. My character looks hidious as well. Game is good, fantastic graphics.
Super easy to play. Only 2.5 hours of gameplay. Sad musics and sad atmosphere. You basically follow the stories all the time, finches are huge family and every single member is died and our little one is trying to find out the reason. And stories are really hooking! Give it a try.

This game can get 8 very easy. 10 in a push. Why should we play this remake? Amazing graphics and still fells like nostaljia. This is the game from 1997 and still fells like the same. Stronger AI, more campaign. Whats different from 1997? Musics, graffics, more civilazitions, ranked/unranked online games, you can see your opponents rating in order to compare. You can ban 3 maps you don't want to play in ranked game. Summary: I am living in China, still can find a opponent, play ranked games without any lag or freezing. Optimization is very well done. To be honest cant stop playing the game at the moment.
I really enjoyed playing, capcom did a great job i give you that. Game is hard for sure but every single kill gives huge satisfaction. Story is full of surprises and just right amount, not too long not too short. it took me 11 hours to finish the story and played in easy mode. Graphics, sound effects, mechanics and gameplay is amazing. Looting from houses satisfying as well. I loved it.
Challenges are difficult. Easter eggs (hidden gems, bonus episodes) are hard to find. Good game mechanics, Its supporting hdr. Musics and animations so much fun as well. Its worth it
I am an expat in China. I want to play the game in English. Unfortunately its only supporting Asian ****'s crazy, you can't change to language to English. I ask PlayStation store to return the game an refund my money. It's ridiculous. I am a gamer for a decade and never seen such a thing.
