Mad Max8
Oct 16, 2015
Mad Max...... when you let your brain meander for a while attempting to grasp the reality of post nuclear devastation, mutation, immorality, vengeance, and Australia. Mad Max; a sixth generation legacy of car battles, looting, and fighting. However, this legacy is too few and far between. The car battles are not necessarily rare, but less of a challenge than one would want to expect, and the rewards are repetitive and a little insulting, especially when you find yourself constantly having to pull over and let a mutated psychopath fix your ride before continuing on your quest to take down multiple vehicles. The looting and fighting are definitely rare, and far too easy to find. Nothing seemed to speak out to me saying "Whoa! This is amazing, or no way! That was awesome!"- It never happened. And now you're probably wondering why I give this game an eight out of ten. It's because despite its emptiness, lack of depth, lack of difficulty, and lack of reason, Mad Max still manages to pull me in and make me feel like a true road warrior. Through all the explosions and over-lengthy sandstorms, I had fun. That isn't something you can say about every video game you've played. It had value. It has great action and FUN tracking down all of the metal parts, insignias, historical artifacts, and ammunition. It may not be so entertaining the second time around, but it is certainly a must-have title, and I look forward to a sequel with improvements!

This game is pretty awesome graphics and combat-wise, but the puzzles are way too easy and the last few areas are much smaller than the first few. Weapons didn't seem very broad either. If the makers put more effort into the last two worlds and created a better and wider selection of weapons this game would have been amongst the elite.

I've played quite a few survival horror games in the past but none compare to this. Forget Resident Evil and everything therein. This game has lots of blood and gore, lots of pretty scary situations, and most of all, its combat qualities, different paths to create your own attack scenarios which require stealth and timing, and like other survival horror games, use of items require tact and precision or you're toast. The lighting is superb, the atmosphere is perfect for its genre, the characters are more intriguing than usual, and overall its just downright addictive! If you enjoyed the Outlast series, let me introduce its king. This game is a testament to survival horror, and quite possibly the best that has ever been made. OUTSTANDING!!

There's no doubt Minecraft is a pretty awesome game. You can build anything and everything you want, or use survival mode to build a stronghold, create weapons and seek out new villages or mines and dungeons, ultimately facing down with the mighty enderdragon. Unforunately, the only difference between the Xbox One vrsion and the XBox360 verson is slight mount of clarity with the graphcs. That's about it. The PC versn, as usual, still reigns supreme. You would think the Xone version would be powerful enough to include the rabbits and horses and diorite etc., but hey, then the makers wouldn't be able to rob more money out of you for content that should be as automatic as it is on PC.

For what its worth I was under the impression that this would be a grand lootfest like Borderlands and an open world shooter but it didn't turn out that way. Looting is not nearly as bountiful as Borderlands and the world is sort of linear. You can progress to different parts of the planet you're on but will most likely end in a one shot fatality by a high level enemy. Exploration is about as dull as an NES game, but apart from that the weapons are fun to use, the graphics are outstanding, weapon and armor upgrades are nice, and being able to form a nice three man team is kind of a bonus to it all. I haven't yet explored the entirety of this title but as a separate entity its not a shooter that should be passed up. It offers a lot of solid gameplay time and adequate gun battles. It outshines Titanfall and any Call of Duty repeat and should assuredly be part of any Xbox One owners collection.

The combat system this game is absolutely horrible. The moment you let your shield down is when the enemy strikes, you die quickly, and is even worse than Dark Souls. At least Dark Souls is worth playing. Nothing about this game can make up for its lack of definition of enjoyable combat. BLEH. I HATED this game.

When I first heard about minecraft I was then playing Total Miner: Forge and thought to myself- This is the coolest creation game I have ever seen. After browsing for a while trying to determine whether or not I wanted another Total Miner lookalike I bought the beta copy of Minecraft and started playing. Within the first ten or fifteen minutes I was blown away by the size and capacity that Minecraft delivers, and awe-struck when presented with all of the builds and creatures that killed me the first night. It was amazing. Now that the complete version has been around for some time, and after quite a few add-ons and updates, its no problem for me to say that as an arcade game Minecraft will stay number one for as long as it pleases, and as for a PC game, well, it sets the bar for all open world creator genres, and has easily distinguished itself to me as being one of the top ten best video games of all time.

Trials Evolution9
Aug 3, 2014
Trials Evolution came out of nowhere. For the first few months learning how to manipulate the motorcycles I enjoyed jumping ramps and trying OVER AND OVER AGAIN to place the bike into a particular position while balancing between gravity and my own virtual weight in order to make the bike swing left and right to clear an obstacle, then on to the next obstacle. After thousands upon thousands of wrecks I started to use the level creation tool to create my own tracks. Months went by and I started to pass tracks that were once impossible for me, and now I search for tracks that will somewhat present a challenge to me. Trials keeps your nerves twisted and your palms sweaty, but the addiction is uncontainable and constantly evolving. With no game of its kind (apart from a few indies and I tab/phone similars) its no wonder this smash hit kept users coming back. Intense bike manipulation, good graphics, and superior controls, Trials is among the top five best arcade games of all time. Magnificent.

Sacred 34
Aug 3, 2014
The Sacred series in the past contained rpg elements, open world, and tons of loot and missions. Sacred 3 has none of these. Not even remotely close. This looks more like Sacred Citadel 2, and I can only assume the company decided to base Sacred 3 off of Sacred Citadel rather than the Sacred series. This is a pathetic attempt **** and they should be ashamed of what they TRULY did: trick us into thinking they made another Sacred title for the sake of GREED.

For the first few hours this game showed a great deal of POTENTIAL. The graphics are next gen, nice and clear, and the gameplay was different and arousing. But its like eating a tootsie-roll lollipop. Some people love the candy and some like the chocolaty center. Well, Titanfall is like a tootsie roll lollipop that has no chocolaty center. Its exciting to open up all the unlocks but once you do theres nothing else to do. It gets boring quickly. Its not a bad start to the series, if there is one, but it could've used more options for weapons, perks, and armor.
