I just finished this game today and I absolutely loved it. I don’t need to hesitate with a perfect score, this game truly deserves it! I managed to get the good ending, which makes me really happy. I’ll take a short break, and then I’ll jump into the DLC with huge excitement.
I've been thinking about playing this game for a long time. Having grown up on PS2 as a child and PS3 as a teenager, Kratos is one of my favorite anti-heroes of all time. However, after the very good God of War from 2018, I was wondering what to do with Ragnarok. I kept my distance mainly because one of the most useless consulting companies in the world participated in the game. Company, which always destroys everything it touches... However, a few days ago, since it's in PS Plus, my girlfriend pushed me to download Ragnarok. And I have to admit that I really didn't expect such a great experience! The influence of the most useless company in the world is obvious, but fortunately minimal. And now to the game itself: 120% for me, no debate! The gameplay, graphics, and even the story are just awesome! I also like Kratos's change of approach to both Atreus and his entire past. It's a very natural progression that can be fully understood and accepted after his life experiences. I want to highlight one more thing: I've always found it annoying in games after finishing the main story that when completing unfinished sidequests in the world, the characters in the game become speechless and soulless. I was very pleased that Mimir, Freya, Kratos and others remained communicative and natural after the main story ends. It helps maintain the atmosphere and keep player's motivation to complete each of the realms on 100%! And yeah, I just started the Valhalla DLC and the enthusiasm continues. I thank all the real developers from the bottom of my heart for bringing such a mega-super experience, although I know it must be very difficult to work under the leadership of spoiled narcissistic Western managers who no longer know what else they could ideologically ruin from goodness.
I had been looking forward to this game for over two years! I consider Zero Dawn to be a masterpiece of its time, with everything that goes with it. But this trash called Forbidden West is a boring, utterly stupid mess with no atmosphere. The invisible barriers that keep enemies contained are back, people constantly smile at you as if they have some mental disorder or the intellect of a 10-year-old at best. The only fun part was climbing, but that’s not enough to make the game worthwhile. Deleted after 6 hours. A disaster. And this comes from someone who’s been a fan of Guerrilla Games since the PS2 era. But guys, this one is just plain boring.

For me, this is probably the most underrated game by players ever. I just started New Game + and I’m fascinated by how the gameplay, story, and overall atmosphere can completely immerse me. I play it on hard difficulty and with the interface turned off. It's definitely my favorite Far Cry along with FC3.
When I think about how old the game is, and what a perfect experience it can still offer to the player today, it can't be described as anything other than a masterpiece
