Blonde has taken license with Marylins biography but deals with her issue and background much more in depth than previous "documenteries" It skillfully and with an artistic, cineramic skill tells her storyand deals with the times she lived in. Marylin Monroe deserves better than a Ken Burns Bio Pic. Blonde may not be a 10 but it deserves a solid thumbs up
Dan Levy's scenes are the only factor keeping this movie from negative stars. At one point one would think the movie is a Hallmark spoof, but no that is the real plot. Thewriting is **** you can get cuts of Levy on you tube that is the way to go
Alot of moving parts but they move well and a a definite fast pace. Sets are astonishing . The characters are interesting and welll portrayed as is 1929 ,30 Germany
Back in the day this was one of the better made for Lifetime movies. Its still that only in a world looking for content its moved uptown to Netflix. The prevailing tomato ratings are too harsh. This fits the genre. Happenings that don't make sense , simple well telegraphed twists with the heorine coming out ok in the end . 2 1/2 stars says it all, rainy day quick time passer
A solid pychological thriller. Has all the necesscary creepy and tingly undertones AND overtones. A plot line unraveling /and/or revealing the mystery of the antagonists power is missing
Fast Moving story. Twista and turns but never dissappoints A accurate depiction of a degenerate ,addicted gambler and the wreckage that he leaves in his wake. Adam Sandler is suberb
This movie is the classic C+/75 It is formulaic and for the most part follows the standard sports flick outline. However, Afleck's performance is very good ,worth seeing and there are a couple of non standard twists .
PT Anderson never delivers.. THe incoherent dis jointed plot could be forgiven if there was a twist or compelling mystery. Stoners just aren't as interesting as this movie wants them to be
The film never builds the susprnse and threatening atmosphere nececcary for a good thriller. The "mystery' becomes too obvious too quickly. From there the charcarers and the plot are disjointed . Holly Hunter is great
