I'm both glad and disappointed that this movie continued in the footsteps of its prequel "Desperado". While this movie goes in the same category as desperado: "the good bad movies", it leaves me with mixed feelings. It's good at being bad, But repeating the joke doesn't make it any better. This movie is hilarious, but a bit of step down from its prequel. DO NOT TAKE THIS MOVIE SERIOUSLY LIKE IT WAS INTENDED TO.

The Desperado is one of those movies that is both a bad and a good movie at the same time. This movie is absolutely hilarious in my opinion. If this movie was made ironically, I would give 10 hands down. But because it isn't, it leaves me with mixed feelings. Desperado is a good movie as long as you can take it as a joke. If you don't, well, then it's not. Desperado is a good bad movie. Would recommend for a comedy night, but for being the purpose it is, it's bad.

There is something more to The Intouchables. While the movie doesn't have a huge buildup towards the ends, and it contains movie clichés, The Intouchables makes it work. I would even argue that the somewhat uneventful plot makes this movie so enjoyable. The movie is not about the events in Philippe's or Driss' lives, it's about how they grow as persons. For me, this movie is mostly about inner growth and how we can be brothers and sisters to each other despite our twisted minds. The Intouchables has become one of my favourite movies because of its uniqueness. But I understand why this is not the movie for everybody. Where the movie really shines is the character development, the beautiful shots and scenery and of course the humor.

"Da Sweet Blood of Jesus" was a rather boring experience. While the plot got somewhat interesting through peculiar and obscure events, it still didn't go much anywhere. The acting really carried this movie but bad writing is always bad writing. If the movie had been about 15minutes long it would have been much more enjoyable.
