A timeless formula made perfect, Pokemon Sword and Shield satiated my desire for new Pokemon content.

I haven't completed a Mario game since Super Mario 64. I was absolutely captivated by everything Super Mario Odyssey had to offer. There is something undeniably charming about a Mario game that weaves threads of Mario of games past into new ones with such subtlety and ingenuity. I've already completed my first play-through and I am without a doubt ready to play it again.

Golf Story took me back to the days when I played Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour for hours on end. Golf Story brings a feel-good storyline, smooth golfing mechanics, and beautiful artwork. For a $15 game, Golf Story packs plenty of enjoyable content. The only minor hiccups in the game are the occasional frustrations that come with messing up on Hole 8 of 9 and not being able to go back and practice individual holes. Golf Story requires near perfection in some challenges, meaning that it is as demanding as it is fun. Nonetheless, it is totally worth the money.
