Very bad game. Not worth your time. Breaks the metroid formula to make it open world. Content locked behind an expensive amibo. The sonyfication of Nintendo...

I got this at launch here in Australia and boy was I disappointed. I've already sunk probably 15+ hours into it and I don't think I want to even finish this game, it's that bad. I LOVED ghost of Tsushima but this is nowhere near as good. The story is terrible, the gameplay is buggy, its boring, I could go on. I know usually sequels aren't as good as the first, but how do you drop the ball so badly? $89 wasted! Time to trade it into EB games, while it's still worth something I guess.

Si crees que la narrativa de este juego es algo espectacular... es una pena. Eso demuestra que no has leido nada en tu vida ni visto ningun tipo de cine fuera de peliculas de Marvel.

Dumbed down systems compared to old games, instanced missions and not open world in the slightest.Simpler combat and party system, cringe-worthy NPC **** for everyone, some people will like it but it's not like DA:O which is still a better game despite its age.

People need to be seriously honest with themselves. This falls sooo far short as expected by everyone.Feels so rushed, no character customisation, no skill tree, no weapon upgrades, you just rely on how you look rather than how your clothes and weapon impact the ****'s not open world at all. Restricted to a map with a few big open landscapes with not much in it. No bases to destroy, flat story line. Your factions don't mean much. Combat is way too easy, running, jumping and picking things up is very clunky.Went straight from playing atlas fallen/ avatar into this, expecting something great and I've uninstalled it. Don't waste your money

Bugs. Lots of bugs. The Kickstarter promised backers beta testing, but all they really got was a game demo instead. This game could have used actual beta testing to work out all of the horrible bugs. There are currently 200+ bugs listed by players on the official Discord that could have been fixed before release had there been an actual beta.Yetee Productions handled the Kickstarter rewards distribution. That decision has resulted in a massive mismanagement ranging from people getting the game days and even weeks after launch to nearly all of the extras people paid for not even having a date for when they will receive them. Switch physical users had to be sent digital codes because they have no idea when their physical copies will actually be sent. Steam physical backers got a slip of paper in a box with a code. Many Playstation backers got their physical copies over 1 week before everyone else. The entire thing was just a mess, just like Rising ****, how is the game? Localisation is weird at times, but didn't throw me completely off. Voice Acting is a little cringe at times as well, but again that didn't throw me off. My biggest complaint is that it didn't try to be different at all. It's a re-skin of Suikoden 2. That's it. Just a poorly disguised re-skin **** JRPG from the PS1 era. I mean an almost perfect re-skin too, right down to the inept teleporter girl and the annoying sister to the protagonist. The game is decent because it literally copies a good game in every aspect. No attempt was made to come up with new characters or new stories. Just copy and paste with the names changed.

I'm really not sure what happened. I was really excited for this game. The combat is just not fun. Characters seem really neat. I like that there's a lot of them. I just ended up realizing the gameplay loop was extremely boring and the QoL is basically non-existent. After auto-battling while on my phone trying to get more story content, I decided it wasn't worth it.

If mass effect was a tire, and two was a hover tire, this game would be the equivalent of a wooden cart wheel. An step backwards in a franchise that use to be great. That's what happens when you let sjws run your studio.

18 year old game and probably an even older engine; still can't get it to work without constant crashes. Serious beamdog? Massively dissapointed in this mess, and that's a shame because I've loved Baldurs Gate for a very long time.
