Virtual reality can make gaming a much more physically active activity. This is a must buy if you are looking for a top tier and very polished VR experience. The story isn't the most engaging, but the combat/ambience most definitely is. The environments are great looking, especially the water, and have some of the best visuals I've seen on the platform. The climbing mechanics work great and help to encourage seamless exploration around the gorgeous environments. I also wanted to mention how much I liked the BGM, it is always a pleasant surprise when a great game has great BGM. I have played almost all of the top tier VR games on the PSVR and I must also mention that this game has some pretty engaging enemy A.I., they are more aggressive than what I typically come across and that does make the combat more engaging/fun, imo. There were certain moments when I was on the brink of death in the thick of aggressive melee combat, and the experience actually had my adrenaline pumping. Again, this is was a top tier VR experience, and if you have a PSVR2, this is a must buy.

Skydance's BEHEMOTH8

I saw the metacritic scores, and as someone who does rely on reviews to help decide which games to purchase, as they aren’t cheap to most people brand new, I was disappointed/surprised.I understand that many of the reviewers had the pre patch version… but let me tell you… after the fight with the 2nd behemoth… I can confidently say that the critic metacritic score is not an accurate representation of this game imo. I played most if not all of the AAA psvr2 titles, and I feel like this is a top tier VR experience.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut8

LOGISTICS…are the circulatory system of modern civilization. the heart steady pumping needed supplies/blood throughout civilization/the body. This game transformed my perspective {which is what all great ART is supposed to do} on a profession as old as trade itself, the occupation of creating/managing systems to deliver much needed supplies/equipment/goods from point A to point B… this is…logistics. While this game definitely definitely isn’t for everyone, and Me being a long time metal gear solid fan-having no expectations going into this game… I was pleasantly surprised at how engaging the experience was for me. The game mechanics along with narrative urged me to contemplate just how important logistics are; I had to think about how important the people are that we count on to bring us the things we need, so we can pick them up at hubs/stores or our homes. Sure someone can verbalize the importance of these people to you [especially if society were to experience a major collapse] but going through this experience within the context of the engaging narrative, can transform your perspective about delivery, that no speech or history lesson could ever do. I must admit, the story was pretty good-to me, even almost shed a tear ,... I heard that Kojima wanted to be a film director, and it shows. I would definitely go see the death stranding movie. 8 out of 10.

A whole lot of "Walking Dead" mixed with a little bit of "Son's of Anarchy" sounds like a great combination and this game didn't disappoint. The gameplay and environment was solid, the narrative kept me coming back for more, and the BGM made the experience much more enjoyable. It's a shame this game was slept on due to heavy competition and mediocre ratings by "the industry", but I see why users give it the score they do, it deserves it. Great game.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon8

A surprising gem, I am new to the franchise and wasn’t expecting much, but the narrative is pretty good and has decent turn based combat; my only criticism would be the limited environments. As my first yakuza experience, this game has pretty much makes sure that I will be checking for the series from here on out.
