This is a terrible game. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. Got it on sale, still feel ripped off. Can't even bring myself to keep playing, it's so bad, and inferior to DL1 in every aspect.
"Grounded" is overrated. Boring, grindy, and tedious resource gathering and crafting. Combat is overly difficult and requires cheese tactics if you play solo on normal difficulty. And NO, there is nothing "unique" or original about it; you never saw "Honey I Shrunk the Kids!" or any other similar story? Nothing new here. On the whole, this is a boring, forgettable survival game, and is not worth playing.
What an overrated game. - Laggy, clunky controls.
- Boring, one dimensional combat.
- Filler time-wasting fluff, always riding your horse, always watching boring cutsenes, always creeping through the snow. A mere FRACTION of your time is spend in genuine combat or real story content.
- Time-wasting open-world, filled with annoying side-quests. What a cynical, lazy game. Luck for Rockstar, most gamers nowadays have chit taste.
Boring, generic, uninspired, tedious, and worst of all, NOT satisfying in any way. Being old is no excuse. NWN 1 was 10X better. This game is only loved by pseudo-intellectual neckbeards, the type of clowns who listen to bad music just to be different, or pretend crappy tasting beer is an "acquired taste." Game is trash, and it's lauded by those with trash taste.
Another crap game upvoted by those with crap standards. Said it before, will say it again: gamer reviews cannot be trusted. Gushy fanbois love anything. Boring world, annoying movement mechanics, the entirety of item and inventory access and usage is annoying and amateurish. What I saw so far, the enemies are boring, the same, tedious. I think this game wishes it was Bioshock, but in a sci-fi setting. Regardless, it ****. Glad I got it refunded.
Incredibly MEDIOCRE game. Absolutely nothing this game does is exceptional or 'good.' The gameplay is par for the course for FirstPersonShooters. The world is boring; it's the exact same thing everywhere you go; forested hills, with a bunch of twisty roads and trails. The enemies are all exactly the same, and often despawn when killed, so you can't even loot them. Very little weapon selection. The story is incredibly cliched and cheesy as hell. Numerous times you lose control of your character and forced into various scenarios and cut-scenes. The missions are boring, uninspired, and just not fun or satisfying or rewarding. Often forced into contrived rushing, due to some mission that you have to "hurry up!" and complete. Overall the game is incredibly repetitive and bland. I'm less than 10hrs into this, I can barely grind on. This is a bad game, for people with bad taste.
