This wonderful game is not well converted into Switch. And even on PC it may be tiring to play in 2025 without 2 small union mods: TimeMultiplier and QuickLoot. With these, I'd give 6. With better controls, it should be 10 automatically, but moving around, especially during the battles, is very very clunky

Great, great fun, very nice time with this worth-its-price quality game. I must say that Gothic defined my taste in rpgs, basing on this specific loop of free exploration (of not huge, but meticulously crafted world) and character's development, and Drova delivers it totally. I would not dare to say it's better than my beloved Gothic 1-2, but surely much better than any Risen game.

Kicks my ass regularly but I still love it. I love the pixelart style and also some vibes of Daggerfall, Might and Magic 6-8, Wizardry...

My worst spent $ on eShop. Encouraged by positive reviews ("best game ever!"), having played several good jrpgs before, I had like 10 approaches and never could stand more than 30 minutes, it's just so boring. Combat system is like in SNES games in 90's. Character progression is shallow and not rewarding. There's a lot of grind in extremely boring battles. The music is horrible, there is like 20 mins of soundtrack per entire game. Although most people praise the graphics, to me it looks like fairytale for children up to 5 yrs old + most characters look like they have esotropia (eyes crossed). PLAY IT ONLY IF YOU'RE FAN OF THE SERIES. For good jrpg, choose, Xeno 3, Persona 5, Atelier Ryza, Octopath,Ni No Kuni... Anything but this lazy cash grab.

Interesting ideas, cool visuals, beautiful music... Would make a good comic or anime series. But as the game... Its bad. RPG elements are not meaningful, no character progress, mostly just stupid button mashing with very bad camera, counter-intuitive level design, and worst map that I ever experienced in a video game. Simply overhyped

Refreshing, immersive and cute. I love this game on my Switch. I have no idea why, maybe it's the balance between simplistic (yet large) world and complex class system. *The game is exploration-based, the world design makes it engaging and satisfying *Plot is cleverly minimalistic, it's a relief to play jRPG without dialogues and cutscenes being 50% of the gameplay *Platforming is rewarding and not much frustarting (I really hate platformers but here there was no issue) *24 classes per 4 characters + decently complex system, providing many possible strategies & replayability *I loved the minecraftish simplistic design, the world seems simply-built, but it's large, colourful and widely open to explore *Last not least - Immersive and cute soundtrack! It really touched me. Thanks Andrew Willman, I love your work.
