I don't understand all these issues with the control scheme. People have just never used the stylus like that before because everyone is so used to the typical two joystick configuration. Typical Westerners complaining about something that requires effort to get used to... If you wanna play the game, you're gonna have to learn how to make the controls work. Afterward, the game plays fine. The only thing that really bugged me in the game was the occasional cheesy dialogue: "G-FORCE IN MY FAAAAaAAaAaAaaAAAAaAaAAaAAAAAAaaaAAAAACE!!!!!!!!!" and the fact that there was too much dialogue. Otherwise, everything about this game is beautiful. The music (OMG the music), the 3D (Which makes me play better for some reason), etc etc.

In all honesty, I'm extremely confused as to why everyone is calling this game maniacally difficult. If anything, I find it much easier than what I expected. I mean, it's absolutely nothing compared to those Japanese shoot-em-ups. But with that aside, the 3D effect for this game is probably the best there is for any current 3DS game. The visuals are engaging, the sound is wonderful, and the gameplay is interesting, but there's something missing. First of all, it's really not worth $39.99. Maybe $29.99 at the max. (The game is good, but not THAT good) Overall, the game ends up seeming like a mere sequence of arcade sessions. The developers included a whole world map thing, but I was hoping for something more innovative.
Personally, I find it to be the most interesting 3DS games currently out, But like many other reviewers say: It is not for everyone.
