I prefer this to BotW pretty significantly. It feels like the completion of that formula and has some ideas that i genuinely don’t know how they made work
Really just feels like the magic from the older days of the series has left completely. Characters don’t grab me the same as they did back in the days of Origins. It feels like Inquisition was the tipping point from some of the good that came before to the problems we see now. While inquisition was good enough in its time, it lead to this and it kind of feels like the series is in a lurch.
An improvement in every way over Remake, while expanding the scope considerably. The side content does still have the Remake problem of kind of dragging when you get to the sections of each chapter that are free to complete side content. Was a little burnt out exploring by the time I reached the Gongaga area. Can’t wait for part 3
Really got **** in while playing this and ended my time with it. It was nice to get the gameplay loop of a Persona game while having the freedom to step away from the normal persona setting.
This is what every souls game should strive to work towards. The open world really helps give you something else to do if you are tired of trying to beat a particularly challenging boss. Lots of items and equipment spread all over a generous map. Feels like the culmination of what From Soft has been working towards
I mostly play RTTS and I feel like changing how the equipment works is probably a net positive. Still feels like the same game it has been for years, so you should know what to expect.
