I just made my review on Steam, so decided to share here too... A timeless classic for open-world, Fantasy Action-RPG fans! The world just even more perfect than in Gothic 1, an excellent sequel like ME2 for ME1 or The Witcher 3 after The Witcher 1-2. With DirectX11 mod and many other awesome mods (Such as: Union mods, plus for example Vurt's texture mods.) this game even graphically still gives an overall pleasant look and vibe, thanks for the amazing original design of the game. Also, thanks to -apart from the great writing, cool graphics, character and level design- the quality audio design and brilliant, forever green music, OST by Kai Rosenkranz, the Gothic Universe a really immersive world to spend countless of hours in it... I can only recommend for any Action-RPG fan even in 2025! :))) PS: I hope the upcoming remake of GOTHIC I will be successful, because a remake of GOTHIC II supported by a big publisher like THQ Nordic would be awesome for sure! :)With a proper remake younger/new generations of players could also discover and enjoy the world of GOTHIC 2, or folks who aren't into modding this original version of G2 but wanna enjoy again. HINT: Yes, I think without any mods, this version of Gothic II not so stable and great anymore on modern OS (Win11), plus on modern gaming PCs... Luckily, many guides available to get the few essential mods quickly. That's being said, I will make my own guide soon too for GOTHIC II modding to help this brilliant community we have for decades now. :) If you like modding, there are also many cool TOTAL OVERHAUL mods for GOTHIC II, such as: The Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos (It's here on Steam too.), Velaya - Tale of a Warrior or for example the biggest possibly: GOTHIC 2: NEW BALANCE.

Real Action-RPG with well written dialogues, you can Role-Play in this game however you feel, can be heroic, can be serious always but also can be a power-hungry, greedy, a real nasty person or just a jester... The best Dragon Age game is still Origins after 15 years, yes. I recommend to get for PC and install a few tweaks and mods to even further enhance the brilliant gaming experience this title can provide for anyone who love RPGames. Apart from multiple endings and many real, larger-smaller consequences of what we do or just even what we say, this game is actually totally different to play as human, elf or dwarf, also different if we Role-Play a common person or a noble one, also different if we are for example a mage, a warrior or a rouge... I mean, fully different from the beginning, not just your character change, different on the screen from the start but the whole scenes from the beginning and totally differently perceive and interact some NPCs with your character. DAO can be played at least 6 times pretty much differently from the very beginning of the story of the game. Which is great, because in Dragon Age: Origins the focal point on the STORY and a bit less on the action (Still plenty of action, don't worry.) as it's an amazing STORY-DRIVEN Action-RPG in DARK-FANTASY settings.

A disgrace to a once beloved Dark fantasy franchise, which used to be an Action-RPG, where the RPG elements was important and where the players had real choices with many consequences. Did actually the formerly known Dragon Age: Dreadwolf intended to be a live service game with multiplayer mode in mind? As you may know, the development of the game once was restarted under the code-name "Morrison" in 2018, that time with a live-service component and based on Anthem's code. In other words, they wasted LOTS OF time and resources on a live-service during the over years, we waited for the next part of our beloved franchise. And guess what? They reverted back from the development of a live service game to Single-player one? But obviously they run out of time... or just didn't care to change much anymore the overall design of the game. ABOUT THE NEW DESIGN of Dragon Age: The Veilguard Action-Adventure game: When I see a screenshot or gameplay scene with the main characters of the game, I see a nice, happy and diverse family there. It's a great artwork, very sweet but if that's all about in the new Dragon Age game, then it's a hard pass. The 1st trailer went really off the rails, was like an AD 4 mobile games. That's not the tone of previous DA, I want back ****, BUT THE GAMPLAY TEASER LOOKS STUNNING! Well, I think it's not about visually can't be appealing in 2024 the next DA game. It's just the style and tone of the trailer was totally off and the actual gameplay scenes as well. And that's what most "DA veterans" afraid about. While the game can be gorgeous (the environment, architectures, etc. but not the character designs, or I don't even consider nice the HUD for example), we can tell now for sure, this new modern DA game will deliver not only a totally different visual design, but also a totally different story in a totally different way, in a new tone than the previous ones for example. Or for example the new characters in this new DA game will not resemble at all with anything we seen and liked from the previous companions in the previous Dragon Age games and the level of interactions and dialogue options with them are laughable. We will see, ofc. how the majority of players make up their mind about it, eventually. But since the owner, Electronic Arts (EA) tell always to this current BioWare of what to do and how to do I don't hold my breath, I think I seen enough of it already, honestly. NOW ABOUT THE MORE HEAVY STAFF, ABOUT WHAT MOST PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO TALK, don't want to discuss at all in any reviews or just in a very very short details: I also wouldn't' recommend this game to anyone to play at home. Like can you imagine if some father/mother playing this at home on a big screen and children, small kids around and see and hear this something, which supposed to be purely entertain with a fantasy world and not lecture about modern gender ideology and not try to lecture about non-binary gender, which comes with the feeling of Gender dysphoria, which can cause serious mental illnesses for themselves. We adults have to know and aware of this but it's a heavy and lengthy topic not for kids. Any kids accidentally listen or see scenes from the game related to this non-binary topic, may thing it's a real thing for everyone, like anyone casually can change their gender and have a top surgery operation for example. Because the kids have kid's logic and not thinking like an adult. But the game is only care about the propaganda must be delivered, lecture and force to listen and simply accept anything by the player's character. FACTS/DID YOU KNOW? "With the growing acceptance of transgender individuals, the number of gender affirmation surgeries has increased. Transgender individuals face elevated depression rates, leading to an increase in suicide ideation and attempts. This study evaluates the risk of suicide or self-harm associated with gender affirmation procedures." /From PMC site/ So, next time when or if you may play this game next to your kid(s), make sure you aware: Dragon Age: The Veilguard promote top-surgery operations for example, which isn't really a topic for kids. While for example intersex is a real gender, and can cause a real problem for a small percentage of people in their life, we have to know how and when to teach our kids about it and not just casually hearing about this topic from a video game for example if possible, because kids don't have any experience and knowledge about anything, so they can misinterpret things easily, which maybe for you, for an adult is easy to understand. Hope my review can help some folks, who was wondering about this new Dragon Age game for the modern audience. In my opinion, this "modern audience" staff could be injected in to this new DA game must nicer way, starting with we actually get a real new DA game and not only something in the title only DA but not in game mechanism, not in visual, & so on... But that's just my 2 cents on it.

Was already better than most AAA games in Early Access. Check. Play as You really like, many choices, great freedom. Check. No hidden, cut out contents, no need to pay for skins, DLCs, no need to pay extra for Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum & Diamond Editions... Check. And now the full game is even more detailed, refined than the latest, so very last EA version we had, so really cool! :) They managed to improve on graphics even further too, animations too more slick than before. What are You waiting for? GATHER YOUR PARTY! :) Since Dragon Age: Origins this the best party-based Fantasy Action-RPG, & actually it's even far more detailed and better than that, & only graphics wise. :)

**** can happen really quickly, troubles are escalate really fast, so it's a challenging game but also a really good one, has the proper vibe for a Aliens game, I enjoy to play every moments of it. :) There is some story too with the action, RPG & strategy elements of the game, so far so good. Decent story too but I just at the beginning of the story, so hard to tell yet, have good it is exactly. I recommend to play NOT in story difficulty level, so you get some challenge from the aliens & really have to think, and level up & build your squad, & try out some different tactics, strategies when the aliens get really annoyed by your marine squad... :))) PS: To make the game less unforgiving, you can check the gameplay settings, so you can have more save slots. ;)

Nice improvements, ELEX 2 feels really great & we have got Billy Idol on Magalan, yeah! :D ..After 18 hrs of playing ELEX 2, I definitely recommend to anyone, who enjoyed the 1st part of ELEX! I also further enhanced the graphics for my taste with some config. file tweak, easily done, just like in the previous titles by PB. NOTE: ...After 92 hours playing time: Yep, this 2nd part is definitely a great instalment of this title, the world & the story is even more engaging than in the 1st part of ELEX, well done Piranha Bytes!!! :-))) I'm in Chapter 3 now anyway, so I just still doing my 1st playthrough, yep! :D

It's not on Steam yet, yeah. Still a really amazing & unique post-apocalyptic FPS, one of the best in these days! I don't know about the performance & bugs, etc. on other platforms (box,ps4) but on a decent Gaming PC just totally perfect! Ofc., as always, you should be sure, your rig has the latest version of your VGA driver, new GeForce driver just released 2 days ago. I can play btw in Full HD/1080p + 30FPS & 120Hz video settings with high-ultra costume graphics settings without any problem. My config in a nutshell: i7 2600k, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB OC Ed, I also installed the game on 1 of my SSD for faster loading. I do not tell now anything about other aspects of Metro Exodus how awesome as well, 'cause: 1 I didn't finished the game 2 already plenty of reviews are available. But I can tell right now already: If you loved the 1st two parts, you will freaking enjoy this too!

So, just in a nutshell now: ELEX is a really awesome, decent BUT also a HARDCORE RPG. Period. I already put approx. 11 hrs into ELEX so far yet but I didn't really noticed any bugs BUT please NOTE: I played ONLY the PC version (digital, DRM-FREE, **** version), so I don't know anything at all about the current stat of the console versions. Period. ELEX has a really interesting concept & soooo many great contents, I'm pretty sure all of the fans of Piranaha Bytes games wiil really love this game but even who never played any PB games but like HC RPGames, will be glad to play with ELEX plenty of hrs. Period. I think ELEX on PC can get a solid 8/10 but as you can see, I gave now 10/10 but I have a good reason to did so. My reason: If you visited this page earlier & seen the total score after release... Well, I have to gave now the highest score as possible, since many many kids on DAY 1 gave to this game 1 or even ZERO points from 10, just after 1-2 hrs of the official launch of ELEX by some silly hate, without really playing with this RPG gem. Period PS: Once I feel I played/ spent enough time with ELEX, I will write a longer review too.
