Probably the biggest waste of potential ever to be found in a modern game which was playtested by a 3 year old and its gameplay decisions were taken by a commitee of clowns The good: -Build variety and rpg elements are very well implemented -The timing in combat is very good and fair (remark "THE TIMING)" -Very good, immersive and innovative level design, moreso for the time it was released -I actually like the mechanic of having to clear the whole area before the boss once you died, it makes the game more punishing without ruining the gameplay experience The bad: -One of the worst physic engines ever to be seen in the history of gaming, it makes the game a pain to play with how much what you see is different from what's happening with the hitboxes, to the point where it's plain unfair with bosses like Centipede Demon or Gaping Dragon -Incredibly outdated and poorly optimized UI, accompanied with some terrible controls -Ineffective and plain terrible balance, I truly can't understand how trivially easy and simple some bosses are and how infernally unfair some others are (The Gargoyles, also known as: GET GANKED WITH NO COUNTERPLAY, THE BOSS) -One of the most horrible boss rosters to be witnessed by mankind, the bosses are riddled with problems and terrible design choices that make them disgustingly bad, ranging from the cancerous rng ridden Bed of Chaos and Gwyn (with whom you have to rely on the AI randomly choosing to hit you with the slow attack instead of the fast attack, which is unparryable due to its speed, 8 times in a row after having knocked him to the ground), to bosses which rely on the game's most appaling weakness (PHYSICS) like the Gaping Dragon, Centipede Demon or Seath (boss that actually becomes trivial when you stand on the right spot because you literally become invulnerable to its spikes) to "GET GANKED NERD" territory with nefarious **** like the Four Kings and the Gargoyles (which, don't get me wrong, double bosses are not a bad thing, Ornstein and Smough are actually the only good and well thought-out boss in the game, since they did a good implementation of a 1v2 combat which is at the same time fair and very difficult). Truly 99% of Dark Souls' bosses are appaling, except the aforementioned Ornstein and Smough which is the only good boss, and the Iron Golem, which is fair but its difficulty wasn't implemented to its fullest, making it a trivially easy boss. Probably the worst sin of this game is being shamelessly blind to its own weaknesses, gameplay choices were made as if the physics motor was actually top-tier, when in reality what you end up with is Queelag dealing you the same damage with its explosion if you're at melee range or at the last pixel of its radius, or the Gaping Dragon doing 3x damage to you when walking with its shamelessly inaccurate hitbox (with my friends we actually call him the shoe box because that) than when he stomps you with his ten thousand teeth. Dark Souls has the potential to be a good game, but it's a laughably, vomitingly bad product with a few promising glimpses of glory.

Full Throttle Remastered

As much as I like point-n-click adventures and bike gang thematics, you can only guess how much I wanted to like Full Throttle, sadly this is not the case. From a gameplay standpoint, this game has aged like milk, it's impossible to play without a walkthrough, it is a frustratingly difficult game, and the cause for this doesn't lie withing the difficulty and cleverness of the puzzles themselves, but on ridiculousness and a lack of clear guidance by the game's storytelling and atmosphere, it's completely random. As far as the remaster goes, it also ****, sure, the highlighted objects in this game look really well, but not only were the backgrounds left hardly touched at all, there is another problem with this, it unclarifies the meaning of things and backgrounds, interactable objects are unintelligible from background ones, which ties in with another reason why this remaster is so bad; no menus were enhanced, they tried to keep classic with the original action menu, which is unpractical and bothersome to use, and they did not include a "highlight objects" key, which only sums up to the confusion within this game. Some of the horrific problems this game suffers from is the presence of unwanted gameplay features (such as motorcycle combat) and time-limited sections, my man, why do I only have 4 seconds to notice the "cave" arrow when it's no different to the one that goes out to the highway, with the added inconvenience of losing 1 minute of your life staring at the screen waiting for the whole cycle to be drove-by again only to miss the cave once again, whoops! Overall, this is not a good game, it looks cool and has a good soundtrack, but I would not recommend buying this release to anyone, not because it's terribly bad (it's not nefarious, it's just bad), but because it's a true pain in the ass to play.

It is not a very original game but it's a very enjoyable one, which normaly pales in comparison to most people's childhood memories of Monkey Island (a game which, I'm sorry to say I dislike, the only reason I understand people liking it is nostalgia, it's objectively a bad game in today's standards due to its game design). Getting to the point, it has a very beautiful art style and fun puzzles, the devs decided to approach level and game design on a horizontal scheme instead of vertical, meaning 90% of the map's areas are open throughout the game and you have to gather little pieces of a big puzzle in each location, which is an interesting idea and seems well executed. The story is predictable but not unenjoyable, the voice acting I found enjoyable (not very professional still) and overall the game feels refreshing, although it fails to root its story deep inside your heart and memories till the end of time, which, from a subjective standpoint of how I experienced the game, makes it inferior to other fantasy p&ca's like The Day of the Rabbit.

Now that microsoft live is out of GTA IV I decided to give a honest chance to this game, obviously installing some mods to fix the atrocious color pallet chosen by Rockstar Games, I'd rather poke my eyeballs out with a fork than play the game with the original colors, I'm sorry! Pros: +Great story, great storytelling +Alive open world with much room to explore and lot of things to do +Driving is very well done, the physics engine, although sometimes buggy, feels very smooth +Has great character development on most acquaintances throughout the game, but just enough to not get into the territory of repetitiveness +Missions and plot does not feel repetitive or filler in the early and mid stages of the game Cons: -Terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE optimization, the PC port is plain garbage -Severe waste of potential on some absences like having different haircuts, customizing cars, weapon customization and/or variety, or having a wider variety of places to hang out in / activities to do -Tedious secondary character interaction in the form of dating and hanging out with in-game friends -Repetitive and frustrating 100% checklist -Missions and plt DO feel repetitive and filler in the late stages of the game

Not only is this game bland, unbalanced, pay-to-win and boring, it also ensemblifies everything that the average ""gamer"" does not want in the video-game industry, including (but not limited to): *Blatant rip-off, garbage gameplay which shamelessly copies and pastes something that had its own success (not only a blatant Overwatch rip-off but it also announced its brand new Battle Royale gameplay when Forntnite and Pubg were having their boom) *Treating video-games as if they were a banal product, look, I get some kind of capitalistic business practices if you're producing regular goods, but by riding into trends and trying to get money out of every single aspect of anything, at the point of making the game p2w, are practices that should be frowned upon and bashed within the video-game community, yet we accept pieces of **** like this game *Mind-blowingly sexualized female characters without any purpose, lore-justification, or objective whatsoever I think what annoys me the most about this game is the community approval it recieved, "games" like this should not exist, if we don't make this clear as a community **** like this will keep on being released and the market will overflow with nefarious products of this kind, the true decadence of the gaming industry.

Damn near flawless despite the clear low budget the company had to work with (which you can clearly notice when comparing it to other point&click games like Deponia and Randal's Monday, in things like animations, special effects and user interface), it's an incredibly long one for a p&c adventure, which helps wrap the story around your head, none of the moments feel like filler, instead it truly feels like a giant labour of love that the developers have masterfully executed in this precious game.

One of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had with a game, I recommend anyone who's into adventure games to give it a go, its visuals and art style are as gorgeous as can be, and its story is also outstanding, with an incredible story telling, a pretty deep lore with lots of layers and bits of mystery that come into the plot just at the right times. It's an incredibly well written love story, it's fanciful but realistic at the same time, in the sense that it portrays love just as it is in its perfect form. An incredible experience anyone should have, incredibly touching. All-in-all a fantastic game.

On to the game, it's a pretty fun co-op shooter which also implements stealth mechanics, with a great variety of heists and an infinite amount of replayability, not to mention the infinite amount of difficulties that aim to suit both the casual/for fun player with the lower of them and the hard-core/tryhard with the higher ones.
