This game is indeed made for hardcore players. It has the complexity of quest just like fallout 2, with a lot of stuff hinting the background stories of various side quests. Its combat can be tough or even brutal if you can't master the key tactics of battle system. So, casual gamers, please stay out of our way. Just play Skyrim or Call of Duty, these games are made for you.

This is a good mix of tower defense, RTS and space ship management. Surprisingly, the voice acting and art design are great as well. The idea of cargo delivery in space is really a fresh idea, never think **** can be executed in such manner with such extent of tactics and micro-management.

The game would worth 9 or even 10 after patching with community mod. However, a game should be rated on its own only, right? I can understand why there is a great deviation of user scores here. On one side, the game claims to be a realistic survival game but fails with unrealistic gun and stealth mechanics as well as the tedious travel and equipment degradation. The game is also extremely buggy with potential game crash and save corruption. In fact, the whole STALKER series is plagued with bugs. The original game itself may only worth 3 or 4 only. However, thanks to the efforts of community. The game with complete mod fixes the above mentioned issues, making the game become an enjoyable survival game with stealth and tactical shooting elements. If you like the ideas of original Deus Ex, just try this game with complete mod. You will enjoy the game a lot.

I am just a casual gamer who is not a fans to the series. The combat and equipment system is quite interesting with variations for different player style. The story is funny as well. The only flaws are the high frequency of button mashing, misleading tutorial on the magic learning process, short game time (10 to 15 hours ) and low replay value. To conclude, if you are not the fans of such series, the game doesn't worth the price tag of $60.

This game reminds me about the old-day of flash games, with something to shoot to defend your territory, and to spend your resource wisely to spawn units to destroy enemies' fortress. I think this game is a hybrid of shooting, strategy and resource management, which is not the same as the angry birds mentioned by other reviewers. Anyway, the art style is great and attractive.
