Game is good in general, vibe, music, some of the environments. It's nice, but after about 40% in it starts to get very frustrating, a lot of backtracking, 2-3 hour long dungeons ( if you go reasonably fast ), later on extreme backtracking and game is on purpose punishing in a very annoying way. Later stages of the game are not built around having fun or having good experience, but mostly about annoying player as much as possible. The difficulty spike on last boss is ridiculous compared to the rest of the entire game. Motion controls **** and I say it as someone who enjoys motion controls and it was one of the reasons I wanted to play this. It's fine for about 80% of the game, but the rest when it does whatever it wants, mostly when it matters is extremely frustrating. The game is on one hand very pretty and has a lot of good things going for it, but on the other is extremely very frustrating. On my first playthrough with doing reasonable amount of side quests and not getting stuck anywhere too long, it's still 35 hours of gameplay and solid 15-20 out of that I didn't enjoy much. I'd say it's worth it, if you're willing to put up with and brace yourself for a lot frustration in multiple areas. I'm glad I played the game, but it's clearly very old game design and the developers don't care about annoying player, creating frustration and sometimes cheesing player to extreme levels. This is not a type of game anyone could release today and get a pass on. It's very much typical old "get good and deserver it" game. If you're up for it, then it's worth the time. Also the story and general pay off at the end was not worth it, I expected a little bit more from the story as I got hooked early on, but without any spoilers the conclusion was quite weak. While some writing was amazing, some was atrocious and handing of some characters was extremely weak as well. But some of it was so good that it was worth pushing for. One redeeming thing for the game is the creativity. I guess it's more typical for Zelda games, but the sheer amount of unique ideas, creativity and gameplay mechancis in one game is outstanding.

Probably as good Avatar game as you could ever hope for. Beatiful graphics, movement, flying, combat are all well made. You absolutely buy into the avatar world and playing for big blue alien feels very natural convincing. Only downsides are generally poor writing, forgottable main story, and other biomes are worse compared to the first one. If only Ubisoft managed to get better writing in their games....

Playing as of March 2025 after all the updates, Star Wars Outlaws is amazing Star Wars game. If you get over it being published by Ubisoft and look at it for what it is, this is incredible, visually stunning game that pulls you into Star Wars world unlike almost any other game. There were plenty good Star Wars game in the past, but the realized open world is a standout here. The obvious downsides are as usual writing. While not terrible and sometimes being ok, in most cases you dont care about the characters, what they do or the main quest either. It's actually fascinating how unoriginal the story is and that characters feel only like poor attempts of replicating beloved characters while doing poor job at it and adding almost nothing new to the table. In a sense it's typical videogame writing of trying to live up to the movies instead of doing it's own thing. Nyx, the mute sidekick, was probably best character, so that should tell you enough. But I appreciate the attempt to create the ragtag feeling, altho it mostly fell flat and the game should have had much more focus on that part of the game. If the game or hopefully sequels allows you to create your own ragtag team, hire different characters etc. that would be great. The world is amazing, visuals are great, the sense of being in Star Wars world is near perfect. Exploration is generally fun with enough interesting unique areas on each planet. It would be great to have more dynamic worlds systems, while there is in a way overwhelming amount of things to do, it would be nice to have more one off things happening in the world or unique events. But that goes for every Ubistof open world game. If the game had more natural spaceship flying linked to planet exploration instead of hubs, the game would be on a completely different level. If the game gets sequel and manages to pull of more natural space and planet exporation flying the ship around the planet and landing on different spots on the planet and actually piloting the during all of that while combining this sense of living star wars world it would get very close to near perfect star wars game. The combat is as of now very good and fun. It's not too compex but playing on highest difficulty it gives you enough challenge and need to combine both stealth and shooting and upgrading gear. Again the highest difficulty forces you to get a lot of upgrades, so it makes a lot of side activiets worth it. Defeating death troopers on this difficulty is an actual battle, so if you are ok with more challenging gameplay I recommend it as it's more rewarding while still managable. The wanted level works weird tho, when highest wanted level can be cleared only by fighting death troopers, which is strange mechanic when you have to travel half the map. The whole wanted mechanic in this game is unfortunately very poorly done, that is very one dimensional and makes very little sense. I understand that the Wanted mechanic is tied only to the Empire, but it just does not work well. Navigation on the speeder is fun, but there should have been more speeders you can purchase, steal, same with weapons. A lot of things feel too limited in the game. You should be able to steal speeder or vehicles around you and have multiple weapons. I understnad its because of the upgrade system, but that system feels mostly unsatisfying, it takes long time to gather upgrades later on for things you can often barely notice. I have upgraded almost everyting on the speeder, yet only one meaningful upgrade was boost. It's generally waste of timer for minor upgrades that dont feel satysfying. I would much more prefer geting resources to build new speeders, repair old ones etc. and just have few general upgrades on each. Still, what is here, is servicable and somewhat fun. Main missions are well done and mostly fun. Some sense of repetition settled in after some 30 hours, but its still fine. The main thing that is wrong with the game is the amount of fake, baked in stuff that feels off. When on mission, you dont get most wanted level while you shoot down half the empire station, in an empire outpost you get most wanted after killing few stormtroopers. You can't fly into the planet on your own, you cant land the spaceship on your own, there is one area/hub on the whole planet and nothing else, one zone in space around the planet where you can fly, nothing else, only one weapon you can own, one speeder and so on. Again, it's all generally good and fun, but the potential of this game is very obviously above what it currently is and you can see that if they make sequel this could be an incredible game if fully realized. I can't stress how much potential Star Wars Outlaws has, if the sequel is more open and has more dynamic systems. But if you like Star Wars I consider this a must play, altho it could be better in almost every aspect. It's still a "massive" achievement to be able to experience Star Wars world in this way.

While amazing realization of Harry Potter world, the story and characters are rather bland, which in my opinion matters as much to the Harry Potter as the magical world. Almost all the gameplay mechanics are well done. That being said so many things regarding gameplay feel like a one or two generation old open world game. So while polished, it's very repetetive and moves to chore territory very soon. The worst part of the game is by far the story and characters. Towards the end all of it was extremely frustrating, poorly written stuff, where characters motivations were unclear and illogical. I was just glad I was done with it. I was realy frustrated towards the end with the story and the characters. But still, there were many good parts and the world was truly amazingly done.

I am giving it high rating altho the game has many flaws, but it's fun and I am already over 20 hours on this, which is rare for me. Main turn off was, that i spent time on specific characters and then lost them. Rage quited few times, thinking the game is not for me, but then coming back next day and just dealing with the consequences. I guess that is what make the game unique along with the complete freedom of exploration, doing missions or not, clearing up the map from plague etc. The only thing I realy don't like about the game is the base managment, it's awful. I enjoy base management, but the way it is done here, is truly one of the worst implementation I have seen. But pretty much everything else is great.

While i love AC:Odyssey and this game is supposedly made by same people i quite disliked the game. its very pretty and fun first few hours, then its just repetetive grind in an essentialy empty world ( there is lots to do, but its same minigames, combat, etc. no people, interesting quests beyond main story or anything ). The puzzles are super tedious, while creative, they stretch for so long, its just chore after chore, because it has so many steps and so many rooms with so many steps to complete some of the puzzles. I realy suffered through those parts. The combat is good, writing is sometimes exceptionally good, sometimes horrific. About half way through i just wanted to finish the game and didnt know it will take so long. Design is good, visuals good, premise good, but its just cartoony, watered down, way more grindy and boring version of AC:Odyssey ( and i I am fully aware of how repetetive some aspects of Odyssey were, but at least you had choice how to approach them )

One of best open world exploration games i have ever played. If you play in exploration mode on hard it is significantly better experience than any other Ubisoft open world game. It is also one of the best stealth games i have played including previous AC games, i never realy enjoyed stealth games, yet here i enjoy it as much as regular combat. World is beatiful, story is decent and while the world is huge, it feels live. People complaining about the game not being old AC is irrelevant, you literally had like 6 games in that old format or what, time to move on. Also while i dont like fact there is monetisation it never felt like i should buy something or that it would be intrusive in any way. To close it off, by far best AC i have played, which can stand alongside games like Witcher. If thats an experience you are looking for ( and you play in the exploration mode )

Had to give 10 to counter the terrible and clueless reviews. Game does lack content but has amazing combat with great depth, its just not obvious at the begging as it feels simple. Once you get matched with better players you will get totally outplayed unless you get better. Its because there is a lot of skill involved and thats what makes the game very fun. Unfortunately the game does not communicate this very well, so newcomers may think its a button masher, lose few matches and then bash the game in review for being boring etc. The game has issues but has very solid and fun core gameplay.

It was a blessing to be able to return to Medievil and experience it again with beautiful visuals. New version captured the original charm perfectly and i had blast playing through every level. Suprisingly the gameplay was still a lot of fun and i enjoyed remembering how to solve some of the puzzles. Only one negative was at certain levels atrocious performance. I can only hope we will get sequel remade as well.

I remember playing Skyrim long time ago. I have a memory of wandering through rocks on a mountain peak while wolf howled on a moon. This stuck with me, as thats what Skyrim was about and no game had the same atmosphere ever since. Until Skyrim VR, i had tried to come back to Skyrim few times already, but with no luck. It just didnt have the same appeal. But in VR it almost feels like visiting the world for a first time. Yes, it is same old story with dated graphics and all the limitations the port **** to VR will have, but today, i stood in front of Dragon Reach in White run and watched night's sky under its wooden pillars. I was there.

Star Wars Battlefront II

Game is fun, amazingly beautiful. Surpasses previous Battlefront in almost every regard. Space battles are fun. Earning credits in the game to play heroes or use vehicles is also better than picking up tokens. Its all in all very solid game. Now the lootboxes micro-transaction crap is of course disgusting, but even when paying real money is disabled, its a problem after roughly 10 hours of game. First few hours, you will be getting enough cards, basic ones, which creates illusion that it will be all good and progression is fine. Problem comes later on, when you want to acquire or craft better cards. Its brutal how long it takes to upgrade stuff. Feels extremely like a free to play game. Another thing is buying heroes. You have to earn game credits to buy the crates or buy heroes. Its very rare you get to play in the game a hero, because you must do realy well. So majority of the time, you are playing as regular class. Because of that you are inclined to buy crates, which give you cards for regular classes, rather than buying new heores, which you have to save up for. As a result of that, you realy dont get to play heroes you want to play as ( Darth Vader for example ). Which is crazy. If you pay $60 for game, you shouldnt be cornered to a position like this. You have to grind 15000 credits ( earning roughly 200 per match ) to buy Vader, which you then get to play very rarely, since as mentioned, its very difficult to actualy play any hero in the game ( takes a lot effort to earn match credits to afford them, match credits and game credits are different thing ). Then there small annoying issues like not being able to select what maps you want to play. Only 4 weapons per class, while the obviously best one is the last one you earn and thats after 500 kills with given class. These are all basically secondary things ruining otherwise very fun, beautiful game. What is one of the most fun parts in the game at the begging is getting to play as all these characters, vehicles in a match by earning the match credits. You get to play all kinds of vehicles you can think of, ride on TaunTauns, BattleDroid, use speeders, X-wings, there is so much stuff. All of them have unique abilities, are fun to use and work much better than in previous Battlefront. But of course it is eventually spoiled with the cards, you will be focusing on when playing the game long term. If you have huge craving for Star Wars, i think its worth getting the game, eventho you will have to deal with the terrible progression system. If you were outraged by the controversy over microtransations, i would suggest to not buy the game, not only to support the boycott, but you will also be pretty annoyed later on after the initial magic and spectacle wears off after few hours, because after that you are left with this terrible grind, which leaves bad taste in a mouth, at least in my mouth it does.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality

This is great experience if you are fan of the TV series. I would dare to say its absolute must play as you will get to interact with many familiar things and you will have several moments when you will be in awe how awesome it is you get to experience Rick & Morty world from first person view. And you will have also many laughs, of course. That being said, its a 2 hour long experience, where you mostly stand in a garage and you realy dont go on an adventure or anything remotely feeling like true Rick & Morty episode adventure. There are small hints of that, but they are too short and too little. The price point is flat out greedy at $30 and developers know they can charge it only because its Rick & Morty. Which is fine i guess, but at $20 it would be fair price. $30 is just too much. So should you buy it ? if you love Rick & Morty and you dont care you will spend $30 for the 2 hours experience, absolutely. There is some amazing stuff in the game. If you care about the price point and you care about value for money, then no. Its not good value for money. There is little to no replay value, even tho the game tries to have some. One more thing to consider tho, is the fact that the VR experiences must be pricey because there is not huge audience and if we want polished and fun experiences like these, we must support the developers. So if you think about it this way as also supporting development of better VR experiences instead of just value for money, then you should buy it. ( But $30 is still greedy ).

Stunning showcase of VR potential. Batman VR will leave you wanting more, since the experience is so short, but its worth every penny. Things like character gallery which would be something completely irrelevant in non vr game is turned into fascinating experience. Staring into Killer Crocs face makes you almost feel his foul breath on your face. Yes, i want more, it could be longer, visuals could be slightly better etc etc. but this is still one of the best ps vr experiences you can have right now.

Pixel Gear is an ok experience if all you are looking for in the game is simple bare bones shooter. Everything about the game is repetitive and simplistic, but there is a little bit of fun you can have with the game. The major downsides of the games are lack of guns, same enemies, uninteresting levels. Game needed just a bit more effort to be decent. The price point makes the purchase reasonable tho, if you are ok with this basic shooter gameplay. This seems like a good game you can have your younger sibling play if anything.

DriveClub is great racing game with fun gameplay, great controls and stunninf visuals. Almost every race is very intense, sense of speed is very well done and you will swap cars faster than you can handle ( literaly ). Unfortunately driveclub is full of small annoying problems along with some big ones, which keeps it from truly great racing game. First of all single player game will take you around 8 hours to finish all races and tournaments and unlock majority of cars, thats kind of troubling for racing game i would say. Majority of game is rather easy, you will finish most of them at first place on first try. Also the ones which are challenging, are not challenging but are rather unfair. Later, there are races where will be one or two much better cars than you have, which makes it basicly impossible to win, so you have to play for the 3rd position, which is ok because you usualy need to be at top 3 position to get the star you need, but this is simply unfair gameplay where its obviously made so that you have to return to the race when 10 levels later you will unlock some car which will make it possible for you to finish race at first place ( you unlock lower tier cars at higher levels as well ). Then there is whole slew of small problems. Such as, why in the hell cant i change color of my car ? i dont think i played any racing game in my recent memory where you cant change basic color of your car. Perhaps one year dealy wasnt enough to add color picker, i dont know. There is also this club you can make, you can make your logo, yet you have to take one of the 4 most uglies liveries world ever saw and you cant make any of your own. So whast the point ? Music, usualy its ok, but its extremely repetetive, do you remember that annoying song from trailers ? "How fast do you wanna go ? " if you didnt like it in trailers, you will hate in the game, get ready to hear it 3 or 4 times in a row on occasions. There is system which penalizes you for cutting corners or hitting ai cars, so that playing bumpy cars doesnt pay out too much, thats all nice and dandy, except you get penalized when ai car hits you !!! Every time ai screws up and hits you from behind you get that annoying red flash bar annoying you and letting you know how poorly implemented it is. I guess thats why it is red, so that you dont overlook how badly its done. To be honest, in this case you just get your score lowered in this case, no speed limit as if you cut curner, so its no such big deal. But its still very annoying and can pull you out of the game a bit. Instead of racing trail you have these flags to help you know if turn is easy or hard. Thats cool, except sometimes green ones should be yellow, yellow should be green, or greens shouldnt be there or they should be red. You simple cant rely on them, again, just poor execution of something which should be simply working well. Also when they spent so much time on making these beatiful cars with these amazing graphics why there is on inspection of the cars ? why there is no replay ? how could they delay game for an year, yet miss out on replay feature ??? Right now servers are down and i wont rate that for that reason, i am expecting it will add more fun to the game, but game feels right now like there is lack of stuff to do. Also its a pity there isnt any kind of stuff to do beyond racing, like customizing your cars or anything along those lines. This game with its visuals screams for some kind of obsessive car mode, let me polish that hood or at least some engine parts. So all in all, Driveclub has amazing core gameplay, which is realy beyond most regular racing games. At least in my opinion. I enjoyed even time trials and drifting races which i never before did, more so i enjoyed actual races, which are usualy very intense and you will just get that pure enjoyment from driving fast, overtaking and the overall rush of the race. Driveclub features of course amazing visuals and is just joy to look at. But it also feels very unfinished and its lacking very basic features. As of right now Driveclub for me stands at solid 8 out of 10. There is huge potentional to get much better when the game will be complete with more features.
