Fallout: New Vegas. The modded Fallout 3 is what I like to call it. First thing to know. This game was not developed by Bethesda. It was by Obsidian Entertainment Lets start with the good. The gameplay. It sure is an improvement over Fallout 3. The combat is much better. They added iron sights, customization weapons, scopes, extended mags, etc. The are many more weapons. Many unique one too and with some funny names like the Man Opener. There is a lot more to do in the game. Unlike in Fallout 3 and Skyrim the companions are interesting. They all have a good backstory. You can do a lot more with them. The medicore: The story. It isn't that great. It doesn't have a lot of action in it and it is rather boring. Getting shot in the head, revenge, big dam, blah blah boring! The setting isn't that great either. Pretty much a desert simulator. Not a lot of destruction. The graphics aren't as good as they are in Fallout 3. They did improve the lighting but the textures were much worse. They were also pretty sloppy with the character designs. Just ugh. Now for the bad. The glitches. I was one of the lucky ones who never actually encountered any kind of glitches (Even at release) Many side quests are similar to Skyrim's. Fetch this, fetch that, steal this, deliver that. Annoying. I have put over 150 hours in 3 of the 4 playthroughs of this game. Get dlc. DLC is amazing. (Dead Money is a little annoying) Graphics 7/10 Gameplay 9.5/10 Fun 9/10 Story 5.5/10 I would rate this between a 7.5 and 8. I guess I'll go with 8!
I started with the newer Fallout games. Then about a year ago I decided to pick up the triple pack (Fallout 1, 2, and this one. At first, I didn't quite understand this game. It was confusing, felt a little weird and such. I got a few missions in and I have to say that it isn't all that bad. I was astonished by the graphics of the cutscenes. A little disappointing in the linear gameplay. Though if the original 2 games had combat like this, it would be nearly perfect. I say around a 7 or 7.5 out of 10.

The Xbox version is even worse than the pc version! I've played both. This one is even MORE buggy. Sniper lag and glitches are even worse! Still mediocre story, graphics and gameplay Kinda linear
At first, I couldn't wait to play this game; it looked epic and it was for the first part. Once again, the campaign isn't that interesting. Cool but not really interesting. The big problem. The glitches. They are the worst in any game I've ever played. Even worse than New Vegas. I've seen enemies that don't die, enemies that fall into the ground that you can't kill either. so you cant progress. Here is the worst. campaign gets erased if you play online. happened to me twice now. still have not got passed the 6th mission due to this i know it's only been out for 3 days now but they really need to get the updates out. This is horrible for me Multiplayer. Pretty fun, added a couple new things but still similar to Battlefield 3 I rate this a 6 due to the glitchyness of it. Graphics are pretty good, story is meh, Also the sniper lag is horrible.

Wasted 60 bucks on this A terrible game. A game that was in development for over 10 years and it failed utterly. The story line is just stupid. So stupid that It isn't even funny. The graphics are okay at best. The physics of that are just The game is too linear and terribly glitchy. Sometimes you can't even run but yet just move like pac man at a slow rate. Combat is pretty ****ty too. I just don't want to even talk about this anymore so I will review some good stuff. The game does have its moments. Slappable wall boobs in the Hive which I found funny and a few easter eggs too. If the game didn't have humor, I may have not even rated it a 1 much less a 3. I do feel bad for those who got it for 60 bucks. Now if you're lucky, you could just get it for free at Gamestop. Never buy this game. Please. Don't. Buy something good.
I've never been a big fan of the Saints Row series. I often felt they failed with the third one. But this is different. This game is probably in my top 30 games of all time. It's fun, addictive, and there is a lot to do. The super powers, the soundtrack, and all of the funny things they add to just fits almost perfectly. Though it is fun at first, you may find yourself just trying to get yourself to the next part. I have added up about 35 hours in the game and near the end too. Though cars are pretty useless in the game and the handling does kinda ****. I give this game an 8.5 overall. And it isn't like Saint's Row 3 or a dlc.
