A good City Builder game, however I discovered it to be quite boring after a very little amount of time. The upgrade system is good, as are the graphics and general layout, but it was far too slow-paced for myself.
Fairly good FPS game, it is moderately hard for beginners but once you get into the swing it is fun and enjoyable. The rank system is controlled and well made. What I find is the issue with Counterstrike is the fact that it isn't much different to all the other FPS games.
Pretty fun, very derpy, and just all round nonsensical. Very short I must admit, but multiplayer offers a great deal of fun from time to time, a fun game to play with mates if you have nothing else to do. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
For it's time, pretty good, can't take much away from it. The upgrade system was good - spending xp for different moves. The unlockable characters were a cool addition, and the levels were pretty good (apart from Shelobs Lair). However, I did have issue with the cheats that are unlockable at the end of the game, and the interesting staged levels at the end were impossible. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
This is not a game. This is a rip off. This is WORSE than Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing - merely because that at least offers side-splitting fun. This is MONOTONOUS HORSEF&%K! 0/10 - Ben Hazelden
Sheer randomness - but this is probably one of the most challenging games I have ever played. A masterpiece of my childhood, stupid and ridiculous - frustrating at times, but it is so good - a reason I do not know why, but it just WORKS! 9/10 - Ben Hazelden
Class game of high quality - stunning graphics, brilliant acting and voice acting - especially by Camilla Luddington and Robin Atkin Downes. Take part in a thrilling storyline, with good gameplay - if not a little unrefined. Do those guards over there have infinite molotovs?!?!? (Reminds me of the Rocket Launchers in Star Wars Bounty Hunter) 8/10 - Ben Hazelden
I played it and loved it, just like I loved Lego Lord of the Rings. However, the issue with this game is that there were production issues, this game was being made when there was only thought to be two Hobbit movies, therefore complications arose when New Line Cinema decided to make three. This means that later in March or April 2015, we should get some DLC arriving for the third installment. At the moment, deserves a 6/10, but because I do not need to bother reviewing it after the DLC comes out, the stunning graphics, fun lego gameplay and casual feels give this an 8 - including the DLC that will please me in the future.
Fantastic! I love the more modern free roam around the entirity of Middle Earth! Truly Outstanding Graphics for a Lego game, and very fun. I completed it 100% and enjoyed it thoroughly. 9/10 - Ben Hazelden
A great murder mystery with an appalling ending, this game frustrates you till you look on YouTube to find the answers to the puzzles. A mysterious adventure, but no tea and crumpets found here. 5/10 - Ben Hazelden
Rome Total War but with one campaign, Alexander is merely a limited DLC item. Once again, the factions were not as profound as the original Rome Total War. 5/10 - Ben Hazelden
As much as I enjoyed Rome Total War, i cannot say I found Barbarian Invasion enjoyable. Exactly the same but with fewer likable factions. 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
Like the original, but more refined. Adds more customization, better game-play and co-operative play, however the online is still as dumb as a bag of hammers. 8/10 - Ben Hazelden
A good PlayStation exclusive game, LittleBigPlanet captures everyone's imagination with a heartfelt storyline and fun game-play. Although the online connection for this game is appalling, there is no doubt this is a great co-operative game for the younger gaming audience. 8/10 - Ben Hazelden
As with most old games, this was extremely fun to play, with advanced combat mechanics and tech trees, but a low budget ending once again ruined this childhood treasure of mine. Graphics are alright, game-play was fun and addictive with endless hours of fighting through iconic Middle Earth settings, the ending however seemed rushed with the dumbest boss battle ever?!?!?! 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
A fun shooting game, this is the game of my childhood, however there are quite clearly the dumbest of flaws present in this game. The fighting mechanics are decent, and the graphics are decent for the time it was made back in 2002, but sloppy AI and the unfinished final chapter took a steaming dump on this almost masterpiece. 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
Good DLC for Medieval II Total War if you want some detailed short campaigns, also very useful if you are demanding some of the very fine mods of this game. An all round good DLC kit. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
Sanctum 2 is an all-round fun FPS and tower defense game, with difficult enemy encounters and dazzling game-play, even if a little lacking. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
Pretty good, Plague Inc Evolved is a very cynical game to play, killing off all your friends and family with a major pandemic. Extremely fun and sinister, but I feel like it should offer more. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
This game used to be good back when Notch was in charge, but now it has gone over the cliff. A fun game single-player, but often repetitive and boring as all hell. 5/10 - Ben Hazelden
Big Rigs is a very competitive game, if you are a coma patient. Don't play this game because it is good - it isn't. Play it because it is so bad it is funny. 0/10 - Ben Hazelden
Extremely fun, extremely frustrating, extremely competitive, but also extremely limited. Super Hexagon is a nice little game to play every now and then. 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
As emotional as the first, Season 2 will make you cry and bawl as you only hope is destroyed around you. Although the season initially starts off slowly, the later episodes will not disappoint! The game-play and graphics are a lot smoother than that of Season 1, forming a hopeful future for the upcoming Season 3.... 9/10 - Ben Hazelden
The Walking Dead Game is a masterpiece, never before has a narrative driven me to depression like this one! With lovable and unlikable characters, the story-line drives the entire game, whereas game-play does lack, but it doesn't matter - if you love stories, this is one you need to be told... 10/10 - Ben Hazelden
A bigger improvement since the last two installments, Black Flag has regained the former strength of the originals, even though it seems more like 'Pirate's Code' than 'Assassin's Creed'. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
Not a bad game, but is a disappointment once more with a weak and pungent story-line. Game-play has improved since Revelations, and the graphics are very appealing, however this game was hyped beyond it's borders. 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
After having experienced the wonders of AC II and Brotherhood, my expectations were high. However, Ubisoft wanted to evade the challenge factor of it's ancestors and also Tower Defense. 6/10 - Ben Hazelden
With a few small game-play changes, the game runs a lot smoother than II. With another gripping story to tell and setting to explore, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood hits the nail on the head when it comes to a good game. Requiestcat in Pace. 9/10 - Ben Hazelden
Assassin's Creed II blows the original out of the water. The game-play mechanics have improved ten-fold (although there is still room for improvement), the music is nostalgic and the characters are actually likable. The narrative is far more gripping and interesting, offering a long, action packed murder spree! 9/10 - Ben Hazelden
The start of a renown gaming franchise, the original Assassin's Creed game performs well, introducing a gripping narrative and story-line. Not too much should be expected from this early installment, the game-play is good, but could be improved. Several game-play mechanics are iconic, such as viewpoints and the Hidden Blade, a good first impression to layout the future sequels. 7/10 - Ben Hazelden
Medieval II Total War is a strategy game to rule them all! A huge leap since Rome Total War, Medieval II almost perfects the beauty of large scale battles, and international war. The graphics are stunning - especially since this was made in 2006. The music and game-play are breathtaking, even though the AI do still struggle on the battlefield occasionally. This game will offer you a mesmerizing experience in a time of Total War!
Rome Total War blows away the prequels of the franchise with all round better everything. Battles are captivating and more interactive than ever before, now is your chance to truly conquer the world with brutality. 8/10 - Ben Hazelden
The Last of Us portrays the most gripping story-line any video game has presented in history - I highly doubt that any future video game will achieve a perfection above this of Naughty Dog's for many decades to come. The graphics are beyond perfection, and the music emphasizes emotion as excellent as the scripting and narrative do also. The game-play is crisp, although with the occasional AI confusion, there are countless hours to be had fearing the terrifying foes throughout your epic journey. 10/10 - Ben Hazelden
World of Warplanes is set out similar to it's tanking counterpart, but does not achieve what World of Tanks does. Essentially unfinished, this game provides somewhat moderate gameplay, and lacks the variety that World of Tanks throws at you. Although not a bad game, this does not reach the standard that the audience should like to see accomplished. 5/10 - Ben Hazelden
World of Tanks is a game that takes time, the player must expect to spend days and days on end to play this game. Long grinds encounter into endless hours of fun, from the smallest of tanks at tier 1 to the big derp guns on top. The graphics are always improving as the updates come, and the gameplay is good. This is an extremely fun and addictive game, but do be prepared to spend a lot of money and time on this game 8/10 - Ben Hazelden
