+no spread +no suppression +some fun maps +sounds +crouch-sprint +leaning +satisfying sniping +good movement design (speed, inertia, ability to jump while aiming, etc) -random recoil -stuttering and terrible optimization -forced TAA by default -no anti-cheat -no team balancer -glitchy movement and animations/actions -terrible weapon and vehicle balance -UI -matchmaking -temporary gamemodes -no atmosphere -campaign is a parody...
+mindblowing true ending making you think about the story for several days +original concept +atmospheric -repetitive -grinding - you can achieve the true ending only by accident -holes in the story making it confusing -once you find out what you have to do, it's too primitive - you can finish the game in under 15min
It's the same cringe-fest as Horizon 3 and 4. There is no innovation since Horizon 2 which was a really great game. It's sad to see all these reviewers giving it 9-10 ratings. It's like if the game was brainwashing people. And I don't even consider all technical issues with the pc version.
The last good Far Cry. I don't understand why it's so low-rated on Metacritic. Great game overall. Very atmospheric, the gameplay is fun, the story is ok. It's not as great as FC3 and 4, mainly because there are no guns. You're fighting mostly with sticks, stones, arrows, spears which I understand is not as fun as rifles. I also don't like the owl mechanic - could be just optional X-ray vision instead. And there were also some technical issues with saving and one level crashing without V-sync.
The worst Forza game I've played. Cringe for stupid kids, terrible level design, progression system, soulless world, not much innovation other than seasons which are IMO annoying, and FFB which doesn't pair well with Forza physics anyway. And of course, the worst sounds Forza ever had...
Battlefield is officially dead. Probably the worst game launch I've ever seen. The problem is, even if there were no technical issues, the game is still a piece of garbage. I liked the satisfying gunplay in the beta and they took away basically the only thing that was good. The last hope is Portal. There is some potential but right now, it's not worth it.
There are some minor innovations like the ability to load the track in the background or change cars while on the track, etc. FFB is the best Forza ever had but still not as great as in simulators. The driving model is as terrible as ever was. It feels like driving with wooden tires. No flex whatsoever. Either I have the grip or I don't. The PC version is a complete joke. Glitch-fest at its best. It wasn't even possible to buy the game. I played it later through Xbox pass (or whatever they call it).
Not as great as the first 2 Horizons. Beautiful graphics with captured skies and realistic looking nighttime, some small innovations, not many games take place in Australia... But ultimately fail for its soulless game world, stupid level design, terrible story and progression system, perks, cringe, etc. This is the first Forza after Microsoft lowered the target audience to 8-years old. Not to mention the technical issues on a PC version.
Beautiful, fun, good sim-arcade handling, simple, well-designed, good story for a racing game, lots of interesting cars, first Forza to implement nighttime...
Masterpiece. Fun gunplay, excellent level design, story, game mechanics, ludonarrative gameplay, literally everything about this game is perfect. Although there are some small technical issues with crashing on DX11, mouse acceleration has to be disabled through unpacking game files, etc.
+fun gameplay and level design +soundtrack +atmosphere +decent story -stuttering -strange physics and handling -soulless open-world -irritating cops -AI -forced 60Hz refresh rate (SpecialK can be used as workaround) -repetitive
+beautiful graphics, environment, atmosphere +1:1 building scale +realistic animations +innovative parkour and interiors +decent story -grinding -clunky/glitchy movement/controls -**** camera intervening with my control (stupid console port)
+decent campaign +decent optimization +decent gunplay +reload while aiming -terrible multiplayer -seasons -microtransactions everywhere -weapon balance -takes too much space on disk -too big updates too often - every time I want to play I have to wait first so the game will update and optimize which is irritating af -fullscreen and resolution scale changing with each update, therefore every time I launch the game...
Huge potential veiled in poor technical state and design. +great atmosphere +visuals, animations, sounds +story -inconsistent gunplay - some guns are fun and some have random recoil with a huge spread, etc -restrictive scripts -multiplayer is terrible - a copy of COD with bad balance -terrible UI -FOV and mouse sensitivity control
Not much I can say. Great gameplay, great story, great atmosphere, everything about this game is a masterpiece. I'm taking one point from the score because of some small details like that you unlock certain weapons at the end of the game where it's not possible to use them, ammo placement, mouse sensitivity issues, camera wobble effect...
Another great adventure of Max and Chloe in an atmospheric world full of emotions. My only issue with this Episode was the look of the girls not adding up with the original LiS. So it seems they were older before what happened in the Farewell episode but then they reportedly haven't seen each other until LiS which doesn't make sense.
+characters and relationships +badass moments +story twists +as atmospheric as first LiS -the ending was unfinished/sloppy -story wasn't as interesting as in the first LiS
Everything about this game is a masterpiece, except the story and some details. +innovative animations, graphics, atmosphere, gameplay, etc... -level transitions - once you enter a door, you can't go back -fu*ked up story -forced LGBTI propaganda -game forces you to do actions you wouldn't do -betrayal by developers - fake trailer with Joel mid-game...
Story: +the ending +original +soundtrack +cinematic +characters and actors -cringe -too long, slow, and boring -doesn't make sense Generally average story. Gameplay: -very clunky -very boring -watching same long cutscenes for common actions The first maybe 2 hours is an introduction with mostly cut-scenes, then, there are 30+ hours of moving between locations, transporting something, mostly for meaningless characters. It's like playing side missions. Just walking, or driving, refilling stamina, basically all that boring stuff I don't like in games. If you like slow-paced strategic games you may like it. But still, movement isn't smooth. You'll get stuck over small rocks a lot, even on vehicles - suspension is not working. Here and there there is some cutscene, stealth, or even shooting. The last maybe 10 hours is ending, also mostly watching cutscenes. Art: +vistas -cities -soulless The graphics is average, it only looks nice in 60fps pre-rendered cut-scenes. Some vistas are nice, but cities are disappointing. You only get to the gate, never inside. So the whole game world and the atmosphere are dead, even for a post-apocalyptic world, it doesn't feel like it. Conclusion: I was very disappointed. The game was just too long and too boring. The story was so cringy with no sense, and gameplay boring. I can only understand if I liked slow-paced strategic games, maybe it would be 7/10.
Undoubtedly the worst NFS game ever. +sound -speed cards -same unresponsive handling and floaty camera since MW2012 -fake, childish, cringy, boring, dead...
Masterpiece in this genre! Unforgettable characters, emotional story with mind-blowing moments, beautiful art style, hidden symbols, experience you'll never forget.
