Very different game, than everyone expected. Approximatelly 35% of the game are card battles - imagine 3D Slay the Spire. And the other 65% is conversation game that is not far from dating simulator (most of it is not main linear story, but hangouts with the team). So if this is what you expect, you will get a good game in these genres. But if you expect something else (new Xcom, mostly card based game), you may be dissapointed.

This is absolutelly perfect game.. BUT... for very specific use cases. So if you are looking for "game for gamers" this will not enterntain you very much. But if you want to have fun with bunch of non gamers, this is great solution. Minigames are simple (even non players understand them), it is controlled by the phone (you dont need 4 controllers for everybody to join), it is quick (easy to enjoy in 30min bursts). And even localized to many languages, so you dont need to speak english. So do you want to play something great with your gamer friends? Dont touch this. Do you want to include your 70yo mom and 5yo cousin who dont speak english? Pick this one.

Well what to say... its is a great game, but terrible price in case you already played it. So if you never played the game, just go and get it. It is worth it. If you played it, then you know exactly what you are getting, so you dont need my review. For this reason Im giving higher score. It is scored as a "new game" for people who never played it. Great game. I had a smile on my face from start to finish. Its so hard to describe withut actually spoiling it. So if you like funny games, that dont take anything seriously and are joy to explore - just go in blindly. The best part of this game is exploring it and finding out all the weird stuff by yourself. For anybody who played the original, I will just say that Ultra Deluxe is worth purchasing. It is not some cheap remaster. But there is a lot of new content that just keeps going even when you thought you finished. The amount of content is approximatelly double of the original. Maybe even little bit more. So if you are afraid of getting old game with few new easter eggs, dont worry. This is so much more.

So first things first - 0 for how the microstransactions works. Such agressive mt model should not be in full priced game. But all in all, i found it mediocre game anyway. From graphics that still use 2x2d prites for trees to AI that has such obvious rubberbanding that it is insulting even to the casual player. Not to mention zero damage model (i understand there may be licensing issues on visual damage, but how about physics effect?). When I hit a wall in 200kmh in "real driving simulator" I should not be able to finish the race first. But with FT7s combination of physics and AI, it is absolutelly normal. For me the game is dissapointment. I would give it 6/10 if it was wihtout mts. With them, I simply dont want to drive the average score up.

So the graphics, size and gameplay is better than the first one. But the story is weaker and slower. It is "sequel quality". The first one moved the story and revealed something interesting in almost every main mission. FW has like three really heavy story focured missions. The rest feels like filler that is put there just to extent the gameplay.

It plays well, exactly as I remember and Im having fun. So while the low reviews you see here were somehow justified, if you are considering to purchase the game now, just keep in mind, that the situation changed and I would reccomend it.

Great game. It is nailing the gameplay loop to make it fun and addictive. After every run you go to the hub and even if you did not succeeded, you will have some new dialogues, events, you will upgrade the character, unlock new weapon... something new will happen almost every time. (its not like returnal, where if you dont kill the next boss, you loose all the progress. You progress and continue uncovering lore even if you keep dying. And that is great motiavtion to keep going and makes the game much less frustrating). And once you unlock the upgrades, you just want to start again to see how it affects next run. So you keep doing this loop (unlock new stuff, test new stuff) until next morning :-D

I have really really mixed feelings about this game. In its core this is exactly the game I would normally love. Great puzzle game with great graphics and interesting enviromnent. This is my cup of tea. But this game has also some questionable gamedesign elements are are draging it down. And making it almost unfinishable. Let me be more specific without spoilers. This game takes place in several open areas. And for some reason I dont want to spoil, some puzzles are spread over multiple areas. So you have to go there and back again to solve them. And the loading between these areas are long. 1-2 minutes on PS4. (10-20sec on PS5). This problem is not noticable at the beginning where you have only one area available. But it gets worse over time as you unlock more of the game. The first time you have to go there and back again between levels you will be like "oh. What and interesting idea". Later you find a puzzle that will requere you to go 6 times between level and you will be like "oh. Was that really neccessary?". And then you find a puzzle that by you estimation will require at least 20 loading there and back again and you will be like "oh no. Im not doing that" :-( Another problem may be pixel hunting? The areas in the game are pretty big. And sometimes all it takes is to miss one small interactable object and you will become completelly stuck. With no idea where you should be looking now. (did you miss something in the current area? Did you forgot something in the previous one? Should you go back to the junkyard and check every single object there because one of them may be interactable? There is no way to know). These are just two issues. But unfortunatelly big ones. You will get stuck, you will get tired of lodings and you will stop having fun because of this :-(

Crashes, corrupted saves, unfinishable quests, broken controls, lots of missing voice overs and noticable amount of wrong ones. Plus several technical issues (stuttering sounds, missing textures, long loadings). I would say this game should be purchased, but someone in the future, when it is finished.

Very good racing game that can proudly stand next to Forza/GT: + Great handling (even on controller this time!!!) + Lots of content (over 50 locations - far over its competition) + No microtransactions!!! + Usable AI (it is not great. But above most of the "train ai" competition). It is far from perfect, but not frustrating. + Huge amount of settings, so it can be enjoyed by casual arcade player or hc player seeking hard challenge. + 4 season, day nigt cycle, weather. - Up to 32 cars on the track - Sometimes feels grindy. (it is easy to unlock new events. But can take time to purchase new cars, that you need to start them) - No damage (at least symbolic damage to driving properties would be nice). - No pit stops (considering length of the races, they are not needed anyway. But having the possibility for players that are setting up a longer race would be nice). But in the end it is very good simcare racer, that is fun and challenging at the same time.

Awesome game. - Great gameplay (top in stealth / survival / part-horor) genre. Very similar to the first one, but with more types of enemies (you will hate some of them. In a good way), slightly improved AI and better difficulty balance of the encounters. - Great technical presentation. Especially mo-cap is so good you can see slightest emotions and see what the character think and feel even when they are silent. - Story is great. It does some unexpected (if you avoid spoilers) things we dont usually see in the stories. And makes sure you dont see the story as a simple black and white **** between good nice guy vs bad ugly guy that needs to be killed to make the world a better place. It will make you question what you are doing and sometimes can create confused feelings ("Should I feel bad about this if I felt ok with it few hours ago?" "Was it ok to kill that person?"). For me this is something I really appreciate because it is rare and few writers dare to try this. (it is so much easier to say "it is ok to kill these people, because they are red on minimap." And TLoU tries to avoid this approach as much as possible) -Solid lenght - Took me 30hours to finish. With high roduciton values all the time.

As addicitve as the first one. With lots of QoL improvements. So you can focus more on the fun part and not on the inventory juggling or grinding. The fact that the sandbox island is part of the main story will draw you in and keep you playing it much longer. The only downside is that beggining is weaker and it takes longer before you get to the good stuff. So trying the demo may put some people off. And town borders and not so obvious as in the DQB1 so I already made mistake by building the blueprint outside the area by mistake. But it is really small issue.

Huge detailed word, impressive technical presentation with sone never-seen beautifull effect and impressive amount of handcrafted content (story, locations, dialogue). From the technical point of view there is nothing to complain about. But also - repetitive gameplay (most of the time you ride horse, shoot enemies or stealth them). And some gamedesign choices jsut takes time, but dont add anything to the gameplay. Looting is detailed and slow, browsing shops is detailed and slow, hunting is detailed and slow... considering the game size and length this is nice first few times. But looting a house after 50 hours of gameplay is pain. The game is fun and difficult to put down because of the exploration, but not the gameplay itself.

Best PSVR game so far. - Great fun gameplay (it is pure joy to explore) - Clean and beautifull graphics - Fun boss fights - Interactive enviromnent (grass, etc,...) - Solid lenght and replayability (you will replay jsut because it is fun) - Clever and inovative use of VR - No notion sickness Im not aware of any other VR game that excels in all these areas. Yes, there are other good VR games, but they are short. Or long games, but these are ugly with low resolution. Or they are long and looks good, but have akward controls and give motion sickness, etc. Astro Bot is the first AAA VR game, that get whole VR right in all areas and for this erasons feels liek the first propper VR game and not just tech demo or port of a TV game. It has been said alraedy, but Astro Bot feels like a completelly new game experience. And for this reasons it is such a blast. It is not such because you are playing awesome game. But you are experiencing and exploring someting new that you never seen and experienced before. That is something that for example RDR2 can not offer (it will be awesome game, but it will play in a way you are very familiar with).

Finally an interactive movie that actually gives you options how to play and how to unfold the story. Dont get me wrong - there is still some linearity. Some events will happen each time you play the game. The main direction is always the same. But what are your goals, how you try to achieve them, how you interact with NPCs and how they interact with you based on the trust and relationships you build over time... this can be really different each time. Detroit finally deliveres the freedom, other games like Heavy Rain, Mass Effect, Talltale games are just trying to pretent to have. This makes it unique and best in the genre.

Another type of RPG. Before you buy this game, be prepared this is not a RPG you are used to. In the core it is very similar to the games like Withcer or Skyrim. So Im not going to explain that it is open world, that you level up your character, complete side quests in the living worlds, that there are multiple way to compeltequests, etc... you know hot it works. TO keep this "review" short, I will describe why it is different. Many people describe this game as realistic. I dont like this description. It is still game, it is far from realistic. It is not a medieval live simulator. So such description can be missleading. But this game is trying to be more believable. It starts with the settings. It is describing real historical events in the real place. There are no fireballs, no dragons, no goblins, no wizards. You are not a chosen hero saving whole world from dark lord. You are common guy caught up in the bad situation. Thats it. With this more believable settings come more believable quests. You are not asked to clear dungeon filled with dozen bandings and locating epic artifacts. Be prepared to help guards run thir daily bussiness, searching for lost horses, helping with wedding, distributing jobs,... It may sound boring, but it is well written and doing believable tasks really helps with the rolepaying aspect. All of this takes place in believable enviromnent. It was build according real world locations (you can visit the area). And there is something really immersive about it. Technically it is not the best game world. If you compare it for example with HOrizon, the Horizon look more beutifull (in eyecandy sense) and technically is more advanced (post processing effects). But it is still procedureally generated and feel just like nice stuff randomly distributed around the place. On the oposide side is the Kingdom Come. Technically it is not perfect. But every object has been placed manually based on real world photos and it shows. Fallen branches, corroded soil, loliage around water,.. it is all placed in the patters you can find in the real world. And when you walk in the KC:D forerst you feel like in the real place. Not the videogame place. Also be prepared this game is not as action oriented as other games. Even during war, the coutryside is not filled with bading camps, aggressive animals etc. If you walk around the road, you are basically safe. There are not so many encounters like in Skyrim or Wither. Other reason for this is that you play common guy. So fighting one enemy is fine. Fighting two is difficult. Three and more means death and you should walk around. All these aspect may sound boring. But they lead to very immersive atmosphere of the whole game. This is a game you can really role play. This is a game that gives you the "this could really happened" experience instead of epic magic fantasy bs. For these reasons I felt closer to the Henry than to Dovahkiin, Gerald, Shepard or ony other invincible chosen ones. All in all this is fun and interesting game. But at the moment plagued with lots of bugs. Including gamebreaking ones (you can easily loose progress because of save corrupting bugs). So my suggstion is to buy this game, but wait a month or two, before they actually finish it.

Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition
9
User ScoreAgarwel
Jan 23, 2018
This game is great. Only downsides are: 1 - There are still few bugs. But hopefully these will be fixed soon. 2 - It is really addictive and can eat a lot of your time. First small clarification what the "enhanced edition" is. The porting of this game was outsorced to another studio. It was released one and half year ago. In very broken and buggy state. It did not even passed certification on PS4 EU and due to savecorupting issues was basically unplayable. It appears the studio that did the port was not able to fix it. So new developer was hired to do a port again. And it was done basically from the scratch. So this "enhanced edition" is not patch to the original. It is completelly new port. (available for free for a customers of the original). It even appears as a separate game in your library. This is a reason why there are still some new bugs. From the development point of view this is basically new release. Not a patch. The "enhanced edition" in the name is only to separate the ports from each other. Now to the game itself: - Kerbal Space Program is a physics simulation game. You have huge selection of parts and you can build cars, rovers, planes, rockets from them and these vehicles behave according the weight, center of mass, motor placements, aerodynamics, thermodynamic, etc.... This is basically whole point of the game. There is no real story (but there are missions). What pushes you further is the need to prove yourself, that you can accomplish something bigger in this huge sandbox (whole solar system is available for you). Basic missions are simple, but there is always something more difficult availble. So you learn and progress slowly from baby steps to crazy rocket science. You start with just shooting small rocket into air and landing it by parachutes. Then you move to getting into orbit, visiting closest moon, docking spaceships, building satelites (later satelite network), landing on the moon and getting back, getting rovers (or even planes) to the other planets, building refuelling stations, mining asteroids, building huge spaceships from several pieces individually brought to space, building planet bases bases, etc. You get the idea. There are basically five modes to choose from: - Tutorial (not really a game mode, but they take lot of time and the latest ones and long guided missions, so I count them too) - Scenarios. These are standalone "missions". Basically the game puts you int some situation that would otherwise took you too long to reach in normal mode. So you can instantly drive rover on another planet or land the big spacecraft. Without spending hours to set up this situation yourself. - Sandbox. No explanation needed. You just have all options unlocked and you can build and fly anything you want. - Career. Here you need to manage funds, run science experiments, slowly unlock tech tree, hire and train pilots, upgrade buildings and run the missions. There are main missions that everybody gets in same order. And then many many random side missions. This is a mode most of the players will play. And you can spent ages in this mode. - Science mode. This is simplified career. You dont have to manage the whole space program. But you still need to unlock the tech tree by running science experiemnts in any way you like. So all in all. It is not a perfect game. There are still some bugs (hopefully fixed when you read this review). Not gamebreaking, but annonying. But slowly incriesing difficuilty in career mode will get you glued up to your screen. The game does not throw at you some insine mission from start. The next one is always just slightly more difficult then the previous one. And you just feel that you can do it. And the syndrom "just one more mission" can lead to long nights :-D

This game aged surprisingly well. Second Contact is basically 1:1 remaster of the old game. So if you played it, here are the differences: What is better: Graphics - enviromnents are very nice, characters are really average and animations are bellow average (mostly original) That is worse: Into - there was no budget to recreate intro movie in hd. So there is 2d replacement instead. It is HD, but it is lacking the charm. I sugest to check even the original on internet. Also searching for small objects can be pain because of all the aditional enviromnent details that are in the view now. What is same, but aged well: Story + writing, soundrack, voice acting, basic gameplay. Also the world feels really alive. Much more than any recent Bethesda or other game. What is same, but aged poorly: Jumping is really really bad (but not needed so often). And gunplay feels little weird and needs some getting used to. If you did not played this game before, just do yourself favour and buy it. It is awesome story based action adventure (with slight hints of rpg mechanics - it just works in reverse. You are not getting stronger, but enemies weaker. Result is the same). It has great story, living world and deep lore that is worth exploring. I would dare to say, that in 1999 this game was what Witcher 3 was in 2015.

This could be a good game if not for the control issues. I dont mean the control scheme is ported bad. It works fine. Or to be more precise it would be fine if it worked. The game is ignoring my commands half of the time. You tell sim to to feed the kid, he goes to to do something else. You tell him again, he ignores it again. You try again and maybe you soceed. This is happening all the time. This leads to extreme micromanagement because you dont need to just command your sims, but you still need to check all the command queues and reissue them all the time because the game just deletes them for no reason. In few hours, you will hate this game. Until this is fixed, the game is barelly playable and I dont reccomend it.

Great city builder. Probably best one on the consoles at the moment. (maybe just competing with Tropico - but both these games have so different mechanism that it is diffucult to compare). I love that it is half city building game. And half traffic manager. It is nice spin on the genre. And when you need to plan traffic it actually leads to more natural city layouts. (instead of default boring grids used in older city builders). And you dont just plan where to place service buildings, but how the whole city works and how the traffic flows between districts. Only negatives in my opinion - some goals (neccessary for unlocking Monuments) requires you to kill your city in different way (very strange design choice. usually such rewards are for managing something hard). And the present maps are kind of the same almost flat plains. Bigger diversity (at least one island and one mountain map would be nice change)

Im really surprised the average score is around 80. (maybe the people who vote after completing the game did not voted yet?). This game is probably best game of this generation yet (Im just not sure if Wither 3 is better or if it was beaten. It is really close call). The story is great. Dont expect Ubi-style game. Horizon is primary focused on the story. Forget copy pasted activities, searching for hundrets of treassure boxes or participating in boring fetch quests. This game feeling is similar to Withcer 3 or Mass Effect 1. Every mission counts, eveyr main mission moves the story forward, every side mission is small story with cutscenes and dialogues in some interesting dedicated location. If you like story games, but you dont like being slown down but grinding bs that is there just to prolong game time, this is a game for you. Other reason why the story is so interesting is completelly new world and lore. This is not another zombie / ww2 / dragons / aliens game. This is completelly new unseen world and it is joy to explore it and its history from scratch. The game makes sure you get all the answers in a satisfying matter. The other great part is a combat. The game is not so much about healthbars (shooting randomly does a litle damage). But you need to focus on the weak spots. Each with different effect, when destroyed. (you can disable certain attacks, tear the armor to uncover weak spots, damage energy cell to cause explotions,...). Each enemy is different. Witch different weak parts and different attacks and AI. It is really satisfying to tear them apart piece by piece watching as they go weaker. Even the common fights with some of the bigger enemies are more fun and chanllenging than most of the boss fights in other games. (I really wish Dark Souls or Bloodborne bosses offered this kind of interactivity). Because of this combat system the enemies are really powerfull, but still not a boring bulletsponges. They are bulletsponges anly if you fight the wrong way. But if you make a good strategy, you can take them down easily. Another great aspect is the game world and map. It is no so big as Just cause or Witcher 3 map. But it is still pretty big. The main advantage is that it is packed with interesting and unique areas. You will not encounter miring miles of flat plains here. Every place looks beutifull and you can be getting beautifull wallpaper images every minute :-D It is real pelassure to explore the map, vilalges, mountains, etc. All in all this is great experience.

But owners dont need a review. So for people who dont know this game - just go and buy it. One of the best open world rpgs out there that offers hundreds of hours of fun. Beautifull detailed world, eight storylines, huge amount of ruins, forts, caves, temples, dungeons, towns,... to explore. Hundreds of unique NPCs (you can talk to almost anybody) I agree there are better games (like Witcher 3) but that does not make Skyrim a bad game. But new enviromnents, new enemies, new materials, new objects to create, new rooms,... sometimes even new gameplay elements. So it is not just playing same game over and over on different maps. But each time it is new experience.

It is very interesting "game" (to be precise: Interactive movie walking simulator). It is story based game told in very unique style. It is without words (and yet it works). And it is very cinematic. Meaning there are basiaclly no empty filler spaces. Even when you need to go between location, there are cuts like in the movie. So the game is feeding you interesting content all the time (in this way it is very different from Rapture, where you spent most of the time walking.). The Story is very difficult and honestly I dont understand it at all (playd just one). It is like watching very difficult Lynch movie. But it is told in a way, that it glued me to the TV and I had to bing-play it in one sitting. It is short game (little over 2 hours). But the price is reasonable (under 10 bucks) so it is totally fine. Personally Im recomending this title. It is not exactly a game. But it is great experience worth the money.

This is kind of average episode. From the gameplay perspective it is good. From the graphics point of view it is very high quality. But the level design is weaker that in the previous episodes. I dont mean it is bad (it is still better than any level in Absolution for example). But they already show that they can create much better level. The biggest problem is that this level is smaller (or at least feels that way). You ahve only one hotel available (ave very small exterour around it. Most of the layout is mirrored (it is a hotel after all). So it is not so enjoyable to explore like the Italy. because there are no interesting surprises to discover.

To my surprise the game is actually better than I expected. Of course it is not a perfect game that will last you forever. It is still "small" indie game from small indie studio. So of course there is not enough totally unique content for 14 quatilion planets. And sooner or later the gameplay starts to repeat itself. But... there is actually surprising amount of content and goals for you to finish. Of course some basic elements (like trading posts, caves,...) on the planets are present in such amount, that they repeat from very start. But there is enought of unique stuff that is not copy+pasted everywhere, but it is really rare to encounter. So even after hours and hours of gameplay you encounter new unique content. And the feel of exploring the unknown still drives you forward. This helps to keep the game fresh for along time. The most important thing is, that game is not a total meaningless walking simulator. It actually gives you enough objectives (to build something or points you in direction of some unique structure or NPC) to keep you going and to encounter cool stuff. So far I did not encountered situation that I would be exploring for a sake of exploration. Or grinding elements just so I can grind more elements. There was always bigger goal behind it (from crafting upgrads to pointing me to black hole) that moved me somewhere and felt rewarding. I also feel that this game is different from other space sims. On one hand it is much biggers. But on the other hand it is simplified. But in a good way. First of all the gameplay is fast (you dont spent 95% of the time in empty space. Traveling between planets is so fast you dont get bored like in the EVE Online). And you know what ou ar supposed to do from start. You dont feel lost and overwhelemed. So this may be good entry game to the genre even for newcomers.

I may be hated for this opinion. But for me Doom did same thing to PFS as Dark Souls did to action RPGs. (In a possitive way). It is not afraid to be very challenging. At the same time is fair all the time and gives you oportunity to avoid every enemy **** gives you very well ballanced tools that you need to use wiselly (chainsaw, bfg, powerups, glory kills). Every death (even on harder difficulties is you mistake). And the thrill and feeling when you finish difficult fight is same as when you beat DS Boss.

This game is a nice surprise. It is actually fun to play. (imagine simplified Diablo with free-flow combat from Batman). And from technical point of view it feels very polished. But what is most interesting is its unique story structure. It can be compared to Zero Escape (or a movie Edge of Tomorrow). Basically the story offers you several choices and it is branching according them. (really branching. Two games can be completelly different - another areas, another characters, another goals, another story). So instead of one continuous story, you get many smaller ones. It takes approx. 1,5hour to finish one story. But only one has the real happy ending. So you have to finish it mupltiple ways to explore whole story from different perspectives to be able to finish it properly. The most unique detail is, that the narator of the story remembers what happened in the previous stories (also you character keeps skills and equipment). And this unlocks you new story options the more you play it. (basically you can have a new event, that is based on knowledge of something that happened at the end of different story). So you need to finish multiple stories to be able to unlock all important info that will allow you to "power play" to the propper ending. The game is fun, really cheap and each playthrought feels enough different to keep you hooked for anough time before you start feeling repetition in re-used areas.

I really like this game. The episodic format aside (yes you get just first episode now and have to wait for the rest) it is probably best Hitman experience yet. Anybody who was dissapointed by linearity of Absolution can start celebrating. This is not just going back to the Hitman roots (Silent Assassin + Blood Money), but it is actually much deeper and better. This Hitman entry is basically taking completelly new approach to mission design. Some people may hate it (there will be jsut few locations a probably very short story). Some will love it (you will get best Hitman misions to the date). basically new Hitman is not focussing on quantity (lots of small missions designed jsut for one contract), but on quality. I would say that new Hitman is not aiming to be Story driven game. But something like "open sandbox assassin simulator". Basically new maps are big, non-linear, full of kill oportunities, scripted events. It jsut feels like a living world. So basically these new maps are not suitable just for one story mission. But for wide range of non-campaign side missions of different kinds (Contracts, Escallation, IO created contracts, Ellusive targets,..) This is probably most import thing about this game. If you want to finish each map once and continue, you will be really dissapointed with the length of the game (and you will miss maybe over 50% of the content). This is a game with maps designed to be played multiple times with different settings (new targets,...) and different approaches (I was really surprised just by how many was you can finish the main mission.) So fi you are not looking just to binge play the story, but for the great gameplay that will offer you more freedom, than any other stealth game (really, the amount of options is amazing) this is a game for you. I spent maybe over 10 hours in Paris missions and still having a blast.

Great puzzle game. One that can proudly stant next to other big classics like Portal or Talos Principle. But The Witness is working little bit different. This game is about exploration of the world and its mechanics. Basically you are thrown into the world and you dont know anything about it. Or about the puzzles and how are you supposed to solve them. you muset explore the game and find your way. This is something that can easily frutrate some players, if they dont understand this. Because at the beggining of the game you will encounter many puzzles that you have absolutelly no idea how to solve. This is on purpose and you are not ment to spent five hours trying every possibel solution by random trial and error. You are supposed to move forward (the game is open world, so you dont get stuck on a single puzzle) and by solving other puzzles, you will start to understand some new rules. Then, when you return to old unsolvable puzzle, you will know exactly what to do. In this way it really reminded me agme Antichamber. Basically every rule is introduced to you by very simple puzzle. And then with series of puzzles with slowly increasing difficulty. These sets of puzzles will make you understand some specific rule. But not every game mechanics is introduced in the tutorial area. But some crazy puzzles (mixing several rules in devilish ways) are near the begiining. If you encounter them, dont throw the game aawy, just continue. What really surprised me is variability of the puzzles. If you have seen the trailers and screenshots you may have a idea there is one type of puzzle. But this is not exactly true. There is one interface to solve the puzzles (you need to draw a line in a maze). But the rules and methods how to find the correct shape are constantly changing or introducing new elements. (please note that it is not just about introducing new elements and making the puzzles more and more complicated. Some areas are dedicated to completely new type of puzzles, completelly throw away everything you know and focus on some puzzle type unique only for that area) The game contains puzzles of all difficulties. Each area starts with some simple ones (showing you what to expects) and ends with really difficult ones, that usually requires you thinking out of the box. And to bring out the paper and pen. If you combine this with open world nature of this game (if you get stuck somewhere, you can move somewhere alse), this game should bring enough content to anybody regardless of their skill. Even if you will be able to solve just the easier puzzles, you can spent really lot of time inside the game before running out of solvable puzzles. The length of the game also seems great and above average. On one hand the game is small. You can explore the whole Island (except some locked areas) in few minutes at the very beggining of the game. But I dont think this is a bad thing. You will be running there and back again all the time (returing to previously unsolved puzzles and areas). And small size of the Island means, there is no annyoing backtracking. It just means the game is packed with content and there is something to do on every step you take. You can imagine the open world game where they deleted every "filler" empty area. But considering how many areas I solved, and how many I just visited on my trip around island and long long I spend inside the game I estimate this game will take you longer than 25 (probably over 30) hours to finish. And that is not bad at all. So from me, the game is really recoomened if you like puzzle games. It is designed to make you feel really stupid ("I have no idea what to do in this puzzle") and then make you feel really smart when you understand the puzzle some time later. Especially because it does not tell you directly what is expected. But it will give you enough small hint for you to understand yourself.

This is a great puzzle game. One of the top ones, that can take place among other gems like Portal, Talos Principle, etc. (even if it is little bit different) As you probably already know, this game is about building automated assembly lines. On one end you have a dispensers giving you material. On the other end you have a place where you need to deliver finished produts and teplate showing, what you need to create. Then you have a set of basic tools (conveyor belts, sensors, pistons, welding blocks,...) that you use to build the factory to achieve the goal. What I really like is that this game is easy to understand (there are just few simple blocks), but difficult to master (you can combine these simple tools in very sophisticated and creative ways). The game offers huge amount of content (so far I counted 55 puzzles and I believe I will still unlock few more). And they provide nice variety. Almost each level is little bit different. Not just because you are gradually unlocking new tools allowing you for new types of solutions. But even the puzzle design is different. Sometimes you get the blocks and you need to build something. Otherwise you may get finished product with defuct parts. You need to cut them off and replace with new ones. There are actually puzzles where you need to take one type of product and rebuild it into something else. And few other surprises. It is really nice, that each puzzle presents little bit different challenge. What I love about this game is its sandbox style. In this it is very different from other puzzle games. In usually puzzle games like Portal, Talos, Fish Fillets,... each puzzle usuaully has one solution. And you have to find it. Infinifactory is using completelly different approach. There are countless ways to solve each puzzle. When you first look at the puzzle, your head starts spinning with ideas - all of them valid. You have huge amount of freedom in this game. So this puzzle game is actually replayable. Because as you uncover new ways to deal with problems you will want to replay old level and find better solutions. This is also one of the very few puzzle games with working difficulty settins. For each puzzle you can increase input rate. Faster input means potentially faster solution. But it is also harder to build solution that will handle more components. Basically default setting and max setting represents completelly different puzzles that needs completelly differen solutions. So as I said - the replayability is huge. I would also have few complains. Especially about the controls. Constrols are not bad and you will be building without too much issues. But they are not perfects. And you will build wrong types of block, fight with select tool a little etc. (luckily there is undo button). It is not gamebreaking at all. But could be done a little bit better. Also some building rules are simplified. It is not exactly a bad thing (it makes building easier). But it limits your possibilities. One of such features is a rule that every block you place next to another block sticks together. So if you place something in front of the pusher (you want for example grinder block to be moved by the pusher), you can not place anything next to it. Otherwise it will be glued together and will not move. Or the power/signal line can not lead in paralel next to each other (the would connect automatically). And you need to have one empty block space between them. On one hand it makes building faster (you dont need to select direction of the signal line. It autoamtically connets to every attached block). On the other hand it limits how you can use the space. But overall it is awesome unique puzzle game. It totelly grabbed me and im having huge amount of fun. I definetelly recommend this to anybody who likes to tease their brain.

Weakest Telltale series yet. It is very difficult to descripe why. Because basically it is same formulla as the previous games. But his one just feels different. Mainly it feels rushed. The episodes are shorter, story is as simple as possible and dialogues and characters are boring. It seems like they did not enjoyed creating this game and just slapped it together as fast as possible :-( It is real shame. I had huges hopes for this. Im not a Minecraft fan. But I belive this series asked to have similar humor a ingame logic liek Order of Stick. But they missed the oportunity :-/

This may be a great game. But after they actually finish it. Action, destruction, physics are really fun. I would compare this game to the Saints Row 4. You are ovepowered hero in fun sandbox world. But... the game needs polishing. There are crazy loading, that takes minutes. (and sometimes all this loading will do is set a wehicle next to you and show a waypoints). I estimate that I spent almost half of the "play time" looking at loading screen. This has to be fixed. Then there are enemies. I wont mind their bad AI (it is sufficent for this type ****). The problem is with their respawn, that are really annoying and non logical. You shoot the nemies, turn around and suddenly someone is shooting you in your back again. This is runing the gameplay ,because shootingenemies feels meaningless. And then are are lots of randoms small bugs (levitating npscs, etc). I can say, that when I way playing I have tremendous fun. The problem is, that the game did not let me play as much as I wanted and kept interupting with looooong looooadings. Once this is fixed, I will recomend this game. Until then I stopped playing.

Basically. is this like Fallout 1/2? No. Is it a problem? No! Fallout 4 is a great complex game. There are some problems (simplified RPG system, too many settlements that you wont spent too much time in any of them, copy+paste content from F3/NV. And slwo start of the story). But it als oprovides huge amount of new content and possibilities. Personally I love how the story is told. It is very non-linear a you have huge amount of freedom in choosing the direction of the story that can lead to different endings. The game forces you to some difficult decisions (I had to fail many quest to be able to finish others - I love that). And the story is presented in a way, that there is no simple "Good" and "Bad". It is not evil corporation vs good guys saving the world. Each faction has its different view on the main topic. But non of these views are really evil or flawless. You are forced to compromise. It is difficult to describe. But I really loved it, that it is not a black and white. Basically you can join one party and go defent the oposing one as a good guy. And other player may choose oposite approach and still feel like a good guy. You will save the world in way you believe it is best for it. But someone else may feel your solution is wrong and he will save the world by doing oposite. I love this :-D

Just explaining why I dont describe and rate it in the text. But he story is cliche that will bore you. Not interesting characters. Not interesting events. Predictable. They tried to put serious story into minecraft world and it jist does not work. They should habe make it as a parody of the game (or games in general). Ghat could leady to funny events. You control robot BUD and controls are based on physics. If you played Octodad it will feel similar. You can climb walls by controlling individual hands. But the greatest part is growing the plant. Which makes the most of the level itself. What I did not expect is that you have completelly in your control. Everytime the sprout of the plant grows you control the direction yourself. So you basically build the level yourself (most of the level is the Plant. The floating isles you are trying to reach are relativelly small). So each game is very different.

What the hell is this? I was looking forward to this game. I love exploration games. But this feels like some early stage of alpha version. With some very bad gamedesign decisions. I Iove the idea of transformation to four different species. But the game starts you in the role of walking tree. The walking is soooo sloooow, that there is no fun in exploring. You may walk for hours and basically dont get anywhere. Exploring with this spped is just pain. Not fun. Then there is this ingame language, you should be able to use by drawing gestures. But there is no help how to do it. maybe it works on mouse. But honestly, i tried hundreds of times. I was not able to make simple cicrce to work. I tryed drawin with different speeds, with different buttons pressed. It just dont recognize the gesture. I consider this part of the game broken. Thn there are graphics. Normally they shold not be so importnat. But in the game that is only about exploration, there should be something to look at. believe me - game does not look like the trailers (at least not on PS4). There are constant popping objects. All the time. It looks terible. Then there are problems like objects you can walk throuht, etc. Basically, this game is not just boring (no content, walking 0,5km/h), but also technical mess full of bugs and glitches. Save yourself money, time and mental health and just avoid it.

I have mixed feelings from this game. It excels in some areas, but have huge weaknessess in others. So it is not a game for everybody. Based on your priorities, you may love it, but also you can end up really dissapointed. The good: Story, world, atmospere... Developers really build big, beatifull, believable, living world. The Novigrad is biggest RPG city I have even seen. NPC have lots of different scripts (behaviours and dialogues). Wnen you are riding through the countriside, it feels really real and not static as other games. The story telling is great. The quests are long, interesting, full of twists. Quests are full of cutscenes and scripts, so playing them feels little like the Mass Effect and you are drag into the story. So if you are like me and you like to play the games for story, you will love this game. It will hook you and will have problems to shut it down. The bad: Basically gamedesign. For some reason, the developers choose some really weird decisions about controls, menus and gamedesign. The game is contra-intuitive and many basic tasks has to be done in unnecessary complicated ways. It is not making the game harder, but slower. Some common tasks becames chores and you will hate them. Some examples: when you ancounter pile of bags and boxes you have to loot them individually (15 of them). Each containing one alchemy ingredient. Why it can not be grouped? When you encounter book, you can not read it immediatelly. You need to take it and then go look for it in your full inventory. Why? When you purchase new equipment, you can not choose buy&equip to be able immediatelly sell the old stuff. You have to end the dialogue, go into inventory, change your stuff, and start new dialogue and choose you want to sell again. Why? The crafting is actually multilevel process. You need to craft even your crafting components. So it is not obvious if you have enough raw materials. And building new armor becomes long process of searchign and bulding four another components. Why? When new character description is added to you glossary, it is marked by yellow star. But this dissapears immediatelly once you select it. So if it is the item you need to scroll too, these markers dissapers as soon as it appears on your screen. Making them useless and you can easily miss updated descriptions this way. Basically none of these compains are real problem individually. But there is some many of these small unpolished details, that I fell like Im spending half of my gametime in menus managing the game instead of playing it. And we know from other games, it can be done in much easier and intuitive ways. So if you are looking for smooth gameplay and interesting action and you dont care about the story, you may and up really dissapointed. Personnaly Im somewhere in the middle. Im really hooked to the story. But most of the Im crunching my teeth and cursing the game for these unnecessary mistakes.
