A very good game. Even if the game is cheesy at times. My biggest complaint is the soundtrack. The only DragonForce song is TTFAF ? Really? That song is way overrated and wasn't even THAT good of a song, only its diffiuclty in GH3 made a meme, really. I would have had in Body Breakdown, Prepare for War, Valley of the Damned, etc. MORE IMPORTANTLY, why is there NO Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire??! Mighty Ride of the Firelord, Knightrider of Doom, Agony is My Name, Emerald Sword, Lord of the Thunder, there was so many phenominal songs that would've fit so well. You got a metalhead in a fantasy-setting. And NO Rhapsody..? What sort of hell is this?! Hell, at least more than half of the songs in the game are usually generic metal at best in Brutal Legend anyway (they know who they are)

Contrary to some of the reviews here. The game actually does multiplayer well. some here claim that you can't have a stealth-focused game have a multiplayer focus. Which isn't entirely true. Only CERTAIN missions allow multiplayer (Co-Op missions and Heists in particular, which are about 40% or less of all the game's missions.), and to top that off, stealth focused games CAN have multiplayer, if it is done right. If it's stealth focused the team members need to communicate to work together and not screw it up. The only problems I have with this game, is the lack of open-world interaction (Unity's boils down to a dummed down version of Brotherhood's in a way, only you can't do all the cool, fun stuff. Hide underwater, Throw weapons at enemies, attack civilians, tackle Civilians, ledge tackle thieves, pick up enemies' weapons, etc.). The combat system is very basic itself. It's main problems is there's no way to get past the enemies' defenses. You mostly have to wait and parry endlessly until Arno ACTUALLY hit them after blocking so you can get a hit, which depending on your enemy's attack, might not happen much. The battle system needed improvement, but it works, unlike III's which changed all your counters to push-away counter for no reason whatsoever (why that one was in III is beyond me). Nowadays this game is not as glitchy as it used to be and you do definitely have some glitches, but nearly all of them are minor and don't truly **** with your experience too much, as all the huge bugs have been patched, obviously. Unity truly stepped up with the parkour aspect, Arno can actually move alot more freely then the past characters (albeit requiring more precision with your control, but nonetheless). Quite a bit of the weapons in the game are spectacularly designed (ie: Flamberge, The Fleur-de-Lys, Sword of Eden, etc.). And the story itself is actually pretty good, not as good as past games, but still. I won't go into full details on it, but unlike other characters *cough*Conner*cough*, Arno actually gets *legasp* development! :oc And back to the co-op part, I find that they should bring back co-op, fora couple of reasons. One, being that it makes the game last a whole ton longer. Think about it, you beat all the Story missions, all the side-missions, all the colelctibles and everything else. What else is there TO DO?? And along comes CO-OP missions and HEISTS. You can bring your friends and HAVE **** an Assassin. Course the only problems the co-op has (aside from some rare glitches, though they can be fixed by leaving the group and re-entering) is that Ubisoft (much like all their other games' online servers) abandon their servers upon creation and quite a few times you can't connect for some reason. However, my biggest gripe for the game is this: There's a well-designed sword in the game called the Fleur-de-Lys. well, it's in the game, but it was included in the season's pass, which has been done away with. And in late 2015 was put up on PSN and xboxb live as a free separate download. which is good, but yes the XBOX Live download for it is still there, but the link to the sword's download page on PSN redirects to the Unity page. Where it only has the main 4 add-ons along with the Helix Credits packs. : Thus, sword can't be obtained. Would be averted if they'd just put it in an Initiates Chest or something. : And personally, even with the glitches the game still has, I find this game MUCH MORE enjoyable than III and Black Flag (Black Flag was probably their most falsely-advertised game yet, claiming you can go into taverns and recruit crewmates (which is just you walking to the entrance of a tavern and beating up people and they just randomly join you after you punch them in the face enough times), that you can fully-customize your ship (which you can't even change its name, it stays as a dainty wimpy liitle BRIG, and can only add additional armor guns and parts onto it, and that's it. You can't even change it's class of ship. I don't I was expecting to use I don't know...A galleon..? OR a Man'o'war?? Or at least a Frigate.. :), and the worst part of it was that they said you can finally dual wield! (which is just using a singular weapon slot that counts as a paired weapon, much like Dark Souls 3 does), dual wielding means Way of the Samurai 3 style, or Dark Souls 2 style. Where you can put any weapon in either hand and if you have two weapons equipped, they will be dual-wielded.) Syndicate just basically had the **** combat system and moves (ie: filled with knives, brassknuckles and pistols with just knocking people out with hook punches and knees. Syndicate's Frye twins probably wouldn't even last two seconds against CHILDHOOD Ezio :)

It is straight-on insulting to be considered an RPG. The battle system is nothing more than a dummed-down pseudo real-time battle system. In the sense that its just turnbased while they move around on their own. And the worst of all is they restrict you to only one person to control. You can only control the party leader but guess what? You can choose who the party leader is. ..near the end of the game. Whoop-de-freakin' do. And Masashi Hamauzu does god-awful music in this. Blinded By Light is the only thing remotely close to decent song in the game. We couldn't have Takeharu Ishimoto do the music again? No, no, we had to put this random guy no one knows of. The game layout is nothing more than a straight hallway. It's even more insulting that SQUARE thought this would sell and not Saga 3 DS, saying Saga 3 wouldn't sell very well That's a pure insult .Play FFXII or Saga 3. They are far better.

First and foremost the roster is stupid. It's filled with regular legend wrestlers that overshadow the CURRENT roster. This game SHOULD have been the last game to have Yoshi Tatsu in it annd they couldn't even do that. It is completely pointless to create him as they don't have commentator's nor entrance announcer even say his his name and is stupid, They don't give you is semi-dyed hairstyle anyways. During matches if you play as a regular Superstar the commentators will talk about the background of the person you are using and/or fighting against. But they will not do such with CAWs. There is no excuse that Yoshi Tatsu isn't in here. IF HE IS A MAN SUPERSTAR IRL AND WAS ACTIVELY WRESTLING AT THE TIME, THEN THEY NEED TO BE IN THE GAME. Not to mention they also failed to provide the missing wrestlers as DLC. They COULD have provided Yoshi, Hurricane, and others as DLC, but failed to do so. And the biggest fail point of this game is that the late Eddie Guerrero is unlockable in the game, but they made the campaigns so nintendo hard he is literally impossible to be unlocked unless you pay for the unlock everything dlc, but at the time of me trying to unlock him, that dlc wasn't announced yet. so i got rid of the game before the unlock everything purchese was even around. they could have added guerrero in 2k15 but apparently they think steve austin is viable to be added to both games but the well-respected Latino Heat is not good enough to appear alongside the fellow WWE Legends.

This could have been a very good game. But I am disappointed that there is no ACTUAL Shining wizard, just some jumping knees. But, the biggest problem is. Create-a-Finisher has been removed and is only in the PS4/XBOX360 versions. But the biggest problem that makes several sextillion fans ragequit and boycott innumerably, is, the REMOVAL of CUSTOM ENTRANCE THEMES. minus the regular superstar entrance themes, you're reduced to just several rap songs, ONE boring rock song, and one DUBSTEP (which I can't stand the most) song. So, if you want to create a custom character with songs like Wizard's Last Rhymes (Rhapsody), Warrior of Ice (Rhapsody), Lord of the Thunder (Rhapsody), Emerald Sword (Rhapsody), Agony Is My Name (Rhapsody), Body Breakdown (DragonForce), Holy War (Dragonland), Beethoven's Nightmare (Dragonland), Let the Bodies hit the floor (), Feed (Sevendust), Civilized? (Power Quest), I don't believe in friends forever (Power Quest), Scars on Scars (Arthemis), Monster (Skillet), Hero (Skillet), Hero (Divinefire), Power of Thy Sword (Manowar), Sole Survivor (Helloween), or Rusty Nail by X-Japan, then your **** outta luck, mate! I was advised to get 2k-14 instead. But a 1.2 years ago I had that game and I got titred of the game because the hold input for your grabbles never worked, and the entire fighting in the game was superbly-glitchy. So, for those fans of Helms, Massaro or Tajiri want to create Tajiri, Ashley Massaro, Hurricane Helms or the Hurricane, Eddie Guerrero, or MVP? Good luck with that! No themes they have match them whatsoever! Prior to me discovering of it's removal, this game had a 7.2/10 rating with me, but yeah...., .Also, On the official WWE 2K15 forums, people started threads requesting custom theme support, but WWE 2K15’s community manager, Marcus Stephenson, broke everyone’s hope by saying: “This feature will not be added this year, folks“. Now, this may be hinting it may return in 2K16 especially considering that statement that it won't be in 2k15 was when 2k16 was already in developement at the time. Now, that wouldn't be so bad for me, except: - : WE DON't KNOW FOR SURE IF THEY EVER INTEND TO BRING IT BACk. - : And,.... `I spent a grand total of 28.9 hours of creating his moveset (spread out for a grand total of 3-and-a-half days), and upon FINALLY finishing his moveset. I looked at the create an entrance found the inability to add Wizard's Last Rhymes . Also, they have a misc entrance song called "Bubblegum pop". It's not Bubblegum-pop by the way. IT's freaking- Techno Dance (ie: Sing Now! and Scatman by Scatman John), not bubblegum pop. Y'know what's Bubblegum music sounds like? Caramelldansen and Butterfly (the **** song)! They also have two entrance songs called "into the light" and "the sound of metal".. guesswhat, the opening of both songs are EXACTLY the same except that Sound of Metal's gutar riff is more isolated and more hard rock oriented. They're both completely worthless by the way. Also, Whimsicality is as bad attempt at the folk song Cooley's Reel, which was covered far better by Rhapsody as Elnor's Magic Valley. Also for the Entrance animations. The variety of extra entrance animations that were in previosu games, that were usually put in as Superstar 1, Superstar 8, superstar 12, Superstar 19, Superstar 16, Superstar 17, Legend 2 LEgend 21, Legend 32, and Legend 32 and whatnot, are no longer there. So, you can't utilize Primo Colon's entrance ring in as Tajiri's, they no longer have Gregory Helm (Heel)'s entrance from svr2008, and you don't even have Paul London's turnbuckle backflip. And yes, that means they removed ASHLEY MASSARO's entrance. So, you know what this game hs for entrance except the regular ingame Superstars' ones? I doubt there is anything except for the regular superstars that are already playable and "Quiet! I'm on the phone!" there may be dlc generic ones but i doubt it. So in conclusion: "This is inarguably the absolutely worst and most worthless game of all time in both the franchise of SVR games, all WWE games and any game at all in general" .

I know I may have already reviewed this but seeing as though I can't edit my already=submitted review... : The Rankings are a pain in the hole. Seriously, it seems impossible to get an A-rank or higher on Mission to of Johnny Ridden's story. The highest I can get is B. Hell, I got S-ranks on my first try of Missions 3 & 4 of Shin Matsunaga's story, and even his 2nd mission as well. For the 2nd mission of Johnny's Ridden's story, you start off fighting a starting set of 2 Salamis-class cruisers, as well as a bunch of saberfish. Then after 2 Salamis' are destroyed four more salamis and a colombus-class comes in and sends in a bunch of respawning Saberfish. However, though, After you kill 25 of the saberfish they STOP RESPAWNING. I always found my self at the end with nothing on the field but me and the Colombus with 71320-74800 points, and waiting for anything else to kill, because to get an S-rank you need at least 131,900points, so there's no way a stupid Colombus-ship will give you at least 58,840 points (which would be how much more I would need to get an S-rank). I don't even need an S-rank, but seeing as though it's the only requisitory I can use for how much points I need. Because THEY DON't GIVE you enough points. And I can't even find out how much you need for an S-rank. I've been playing the american version until I couldn't stand Ridden and Bernie's horrible English voices, so I started doing the japanese versions (which is harder, oddly enough, especially the White Base mode's missions). But, the Japanese version seems to give you a slight bit more enemies, but regardless still not enough. The biggest score I could get was B-rank (Score: 74800. Special Bonus (being the how many RETRYs were used, in this case: NONE.): 35000. Total score.: 109800). 109,800 is 83.25% of the minimum required for S-rank and it only got to a B? What the HELL do you need for an A-rank?! Honestly, this game has amazing music. Neat gameplay (albeit some glitchy shooting here and there, i.e.:; with an enemy ms in front of you you shoot at him and the shoot flies really far-wide to the left or right, not even remotely aiming at the opp., especially when he's barely moving), but even people I know who are practically masters at the battle system can't even get bast a B-rank of alot of the missions. That much, is sad. I'd say use Action Replay. But sadly enough, I can't use it. The only code-based thing I have for a Japanese PS2 is the Karat Actionreplay thing, which doesn't even have the game (which I originally bought for Soulcalibur III, mind you it didn't even have it,despite the listing saying it had games of M-through-T). It only had Zeonic Front and Gundam Senki: Lost War Chronicles. ...lovely.. I honestly have no idea why they have it about destroying as much as poossible (especially since this game was a sequel to Journey to Jaburo, which the japanese for both games are MEGURIAI-SORA, but yet Journey to Jaburo had it's completeion rankings set up in quite the opposite, actually). I think it should be by the following: Impacts a big amount of the end-score "No. of allied-MS destroyed" "How much Health you have left after completing the said-mission" "Highest amount of enemies shot-down with one Multi-shot." Minorly-affects the end-score "How many times your Thrusters overheat" : -1500 each time "Loss of your shield" I'd keep the bonus of no. of retries, because that's something I agree with how that impacts your score.

Congratulations Koei you teased yet again for no gain to the players. The only redeeming quality this game has is Wing-Zero-EW-custom. This game has barely anything to offer. They removed the Frienship system, which I very much enjoyed. My favorite Gundam-character, Johnny Ridden, still has yet to be playable! The Gouf, Gyan, and Gelgoog are still **** despite that they are all high-quality MS used by Aces. And my biggest problem with the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games was that I hate the fact that the only thing of Johnny Ridden that is playable is his sole MS in the games, but guess what? In the first game he shares the same moveset with Char's Gelgoog, and what about the games you CAN play as his Gelgoog? It's an exact clone of Char. Need I also mention he fights NOTHING like Ridden! Johnny ridden uses a hit and run fighting style and the main reason he uses HIGH MOBILITY TYPE-MobileSuits! He has nothing new. All he has is only a four square-chain, one musou. Everyone has at least six-or eight square-chain, two-three musous (one for ground, air and a true musou). Every MS I loved is reduced to a worthless piece of trash that it never was in the series. Gelgoogs and Goufs are very strong, yet reduced to the uniqueness as a LEO. What they could have done is give Ridden his Full Bullet Zaku or his MS-06R-2 Zaku II HM-type. OR maybe his story mode based off of MSV Battle Chronicle Johnny Ridden. And need I also mention they teased Johnny Ridden with the whole Red Comet vs Crimson Lightning DLC mission, which you still can't play as Ridden?! And where in the world is Bernie from 0080 and MCKenzie, and better yet where's Shiro Amada, he's always in a gundam crossover~

I disagree with brabb555. I am not a hardcore SH fan. the only SH game I played was 2 and I got locked out and quit the game to return to it later. And af far as Downpour goes. It has an amazing story but is hindered by shoddy gameplay. First, the sound is horrible. Murply has the same three different lines for taking a hit and gets old fast. You could have at most 8? And the soundtrack is God Awful. Lichs knows how to ruin the ambience. he deliberately tries to (and fails) to replicate Yamaoka's style rather than generating his own tone of eerie ambience. As for the physics, Murphy's animations are horrible, doubly-so when SWINGING a weapon. Look at the Axe/Rake animation, the punching animation and the knife/cleaver animations. They all make it seem as if Murphy's disjointed, basically the only thing that moves in said animation(s) is his arms, not his shoulders, not his upper body, and even his waist never budges an inch. Honestly, if having a motion capture actor that FOREIGN to you??! And also when you try to scale staircases while being **** up by the red-blackhole and he'll just stand still and not move, just that annoying scream.

Eghh. It's ok. You have barely any decent outfits. All the revolvers and rifles look the same unlike in Revolver. And the main character has no likability and he's effin' anoying. The gun duals are overly complicated and they barely explain it. and it's supposed to be a sequel to revolver but the onyl thing you get regarding revolver is JAck swift and red being mentioned in dialogue ONCE. It's nothing more than them putting GTA in a western setting.

A classic gem on the PS2. But, honestly, "Horrible game. Buy Gun if you want a western game. This one is ridiculous with a horrible plot, shotty controls and just an overall bad game!"?? Really? GUN?? You mean the game that is wickedly clichéd. Hell, the plot of Gun was horrible and unoriginal. What's the plot for Gun? Your dad dies and blah blah blah blah blah. And it's hard for you to sympathize with the main character regarding that. As for 'Revolver', Red's father, Nate, AND mother, Morning Star, are killed in killed blood in an act of betrayal by Gen. Diego's right-hand man, Cl. Daren. Even though, Cole's father in Gun, lasted longer prior to dying, but Nate Harlow had more of an impact on the player due to the intense development he has through a short cutscene. Unlike Gun, the characters are more likable. If this game was so horrible and had a horrible plot, why were so many people outraged of Swift not returning in Redemption. This game is a masterpiece, and as far as I'm concerned, it's better than Redemption.

This game is by far the best you'll find to date in the SMASH! series. It also has anything a fan of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Poke'mon, whatever, could ask for. Nobuyuki Hiyama as Link? Takashi Nagasako as Ganondorf? PICHU?? Chikorita? Japanese dub voices in options? Yes. All the returning characters are doubled-up upon without making them OP'd. This game is hard to find nowadays but definitely worth it. There is off course one little issue : Link (And Young Link)'s Up-smash's 3rd hit NEVER connects in HR-contest.
