It’s not going anywhere you’d likely suspect, and the big reveal episodes have a lot of explaining to do, but this hyper-paranoid, time-twisting and addictive show is actually laying a foundation for something. How that something eventually plays out remains a question, but the ride there is an undeniable kick.

I loved this series. The characters in the movie are intense and you can feel what they feel, the story is pretty deep for all the characters and is really enjoyable and interesting. Compairing it with other series, this is one of those series that really catch you by the relation between characters and viewer that make this series exeptional. Wayward Pines, a great work from FOX and FX Productions.

I have just read the book series and i found it incredible! So, i watched the tv series and i have to say WAYWARD PINES IS THE BEST MISTERY-THRILLER-SCIENCE FICTION TV SERIES OF ALL TIME! The characters are all well studied and the plot, even if different from the book's one, is amazing and addictive!

Wayward Pines looks as though it has the potential to rise above its false starts while grippingly spooling out truths that are “worse than anything you could even imagine.”

At first, Wayward Pines doesn’t quite have the visual personality to match its narrative oddity.... Be patient. The repetition fades away as writer Chad Hodge (who adapted his books) starts working more with answers than questions, and even the already-strong cast improves.

Melissa Leo, Howard, and Gugino--who has the most alluring mystery--know how to work well in the murk. They pull you through everything that’s tired, tedious, and trippy and nurture hope that Wayward Pines will add up to something novel. Or, at least, just add up.

It's not fun enough while waiting for the explanation in the fifth and final episode I saw (there are 10 episodes altogether), and the explanation doesn't do a good enough job of justifying everything that's happened before.

The characters are thinner than cardboard cutouts, and I could see every “twist” coming from a mile away.

This is by far the best new series on this year. Episode on may have been a bit too much(boring) for some people; but that was just the first episode. Please take the time to watch the first five episodes and then write a review.

The scenario is really nothing new here, but features the signature M. Night Shyamalan (even though he didn't write the source material) rug pull (and he certainly in no way came up with that, but helped bring it back into vogue). And this is to mixed effect. On the one hand high marks for the mystery, on the other low for all its many contrivances that add up to a slightly less than satisfying experience. Matt Dillon is reliably solid as usual.

Nice diversion with a lot of plot twist. The premise is the standard big government, evil corporation gone wild for some sinister reason. However as stated Wayward pines is a great way to spend an hour with my wife.

The central premise, which is revealed some time in episode 3 or 4 ("we can't tell them the truth because they will all kill themselves if they find out, so we'll just have to carry on with this stupid farce") is flimsy beyond belief, and without it everything else falls apart. It's very difficult to "suspend disbelief" and just enjoy the story when the plot is so full of holes and the characters behave so irrationally. I've always wondered, is it really impossible for the people who greenlight these series to just read the script and tell right away that the series is going to be rubbish, so it should not be made?
