The Glass Dome

The Glass Dome is effective at what it sets out to do; it might have been even more memorable if we'd had more time with Lejla. This enterprise certainly gets the job done as a whodunit, but it's more tantalizing as a character study; it's at its most gripping when we're in Lejla's head.

Although it tags a few familiar bases — an unreliable main character who’s overmedicating, a less than bereaved husband — it’s always engrossing even when the actions of the characters get more and more infuriating.

The first episode of The Glass Dome was too predictable, giving us a bad feeling that the rest of the limited series will be, as well.
