The show could do better with its shallow portrayal of its female characters, but fans of mob dramas should otherwise find everything they want. The narrative picks up its pace as the season progresses into a final run of episodes that feature the most suspenseful sequences Narcos has ever had.

Great season!at start it was like hard to catch up with subtitles the language was reason i wasn't into it much at start but the way everything was at 1st episode the intro and characters and introduction to cockroach from that it was fully amazing **** Steve's narration and little little conversations was enough to settle the language and **** acting was amazing,Pablo's role was Great,love the bonding of Steve and Pena both were amazing as hell.visuals were amazing.Music and Intro was amazing the same Latin music was **** screenplay and as per biography story was amazing the narration and unique way of story was Great.1st episode was amazing the whole shootout and intro to characters the Pablo's intro was awesome as **** cockroach and the plan it was **** Pablo's dream for president and whole politics then the terror and business and at last the prison with drama it was an amazing ride then the last episode at start it was surprising the kidnap and the vice president it was amazing end to season **** whole season overall is a Masterpiece & A-1 entertaining!

Great TV series. Congratulations Netflix on the entire production. The style was perfect. The acting, character development, writing were all superb.

Finding out how Escobar rose in power and status to become a murderous megalomaniacal drug lord is as fascinating as it is frightening. This is due in large part to the masterful performance Brazilian actor Wagner Moura delivers as Escobar. Menacing but never melodramatic, Moura is exceptionally convincing and subtle.... Murphy is a man who wants to “do good” and nearly ruins the series because it. Compounding the issue, Murphy’s voice-over commentary is excessive, occasionally states the obvious and at its worse, takes you out of the moment.

The series begins to find its pacing not long after, and we see the strength of Moura’s acting, which to his credit never races, in the early going, toward over-the-top menace or the drug-lord cliches we're all used to at this point. Credit also the fact that Padilha brings a documentary feel to Narcos.

There's a richer, more artistically ambitious version--possibly, but not necessarily, involving magic realism--of this story still waiting to be told, but the basic competence of Narcos is enough for now.

This is by far the best series I've ever watched ever. Amazing story line (fact and fictional), characters, acting, locations, even accompanying music. It's a series that can be easily binge watched. It's a fantastic series.

No me extenderé mucho en esta review pues una vez acabada las tres temporadas de esta serie tengo clara mi opinión. Esta temporada me parece que está bien, pero personalmente no me gusta casi nada, Escobar me parece un pesado y se me hace muy pesado también el principio de como monta su imperio de la droga. Tiene algunos buenos momentos como el de el avión y cuando van a por el que "suministra las armas" que están guays pero el resto de la temporada me gusta regular. Primera temporada sobrevalorada para mí en cuanto a repercusión social.

A solid new Netflix show. It's dramatic and violent, but the voice-over narration is constant and overbearing and it deflates a lot of the dramatic tension.

This series is a cheap copy of a Colombian series called "El Patrón del mal". Narcos story line is so compressed that it became bad american action action non-stop action **** add insult to injury Pablo speaks with a Brazilian accent, maybe in season 2 they can have an US embassador with a Russian accent, what a joke!

Am I the only one to say this was awful? Acting was subpar, accents were annoying, contorting the facts to fit the storyline and did anyone else notice that they aren't even driving cars from that era? I mean Steve Murphy is playing with a bottle of squeezable **** in 1989, BS. Sure they filmed in Colombia but they barley used any actual Colombians or accents. But most of all, the most fascinating part of the story is missing, The C.I.A not only knew but also helped in Pablo's rise to power, but instead let's contort the truth to make a Colombian soap opera. The sad part is its hard to mess up such a great story, but Netflix did.
