He’s waving his arms about fires and Hitler and fascism and Theo Von’s podcast; he’s stooped on a stool, trying to get at the pain of his childhood. All of it’s excellent. Maron’s too good at his job to let it be otherwise. But amid the nightmare of now, there’s an almost uncanny, delighted sense of watching a comedian who is just the right guy for this exact moment.

The pleasure of Maron’s stand-up is witnessing him use his voice to continually revise thoughts amidst shifting winds—not a conventional sort of entertainment, but a style that still counts for something.

“Panicked” may fall short as a political treatise, but it affirms Maron as an unparalleled narrator of his own agita, and many others’ too. From here on out, it’ll have to be enough.

Is it good? Sure it is. As the title suggests, Maron is once more indulging his anxiety — or “intrusive catastrophic thinking,” as it’s been diagnosed by a therapist — to amusing effect.

Marc is destroying the Rogan Sphere. Rogan started this beef because he thought Marc was talking about Bert. But in fact on tigerbelly Marc said he was talking about Dave Chappelle. Rogan said to Bert see that’s not your boy. But Marc likes Bert and tom. Elephant Grave yard YT video is amazing punching up to Joe Rogan and his group of crap comedians even Tony hincliff an unfunny comedian who just craps on beginners who want to be real comedians. Marc is great just look at all his specials and compare them with rogans.

I didn't care much about the beginning (or most of the 1st half), but the 2nd half was masterful and emotionally powerful. Not so much a standard stand-up routine looking for laughs, but a person talking about life, asking the right questions, which is worth listening to. Pure Marc Maron, in a nutshell.
