Land of Sin's curated themes are strikingly raw and empathetic, the grim yet rewarding tale uplifted by excellent behind-the-camera production value and a tiny-but-mighty cast with zero weak links.

Land Of Sin is a solid Scandi noir thriller, and any issues you may have with the plot or story telling won’t take away from following along with Dani and Malik as they try to figure out the case.

By the time “Land of Sin” limps to its sigh of a finale, it’s hard to justify watching this one over the scores of other, more interesting takes on the cold-blooded crime show out there. If you’ve seen those already, this one offers little but reheated tropes of the “troubled city cop solving a small town murder” story you’ve likely seen over and over again.
