What an exquisite exemplar of British comedy rep theatre Ghosts has been. If you find the episode a little inconclusive, there’s a Christmas special to come.

It certainly doesn't feel too final, just in case there is ever any desire to revive it. Television has grown very tense in recent years, but there is a lot to be said for TV that is sweet, funny, clever and warm. I hope that one day Ghosts comes back to haunt us.

Fun comedy, with a heartwarming story throughout the series with great characters that the show gives room for you to fall in love with them all. One of the better TV shows I've seen in a long time that consistently delivered from start to finish. MUST WATCH!!

No scene is left unmined for gags,with jokes that are clever and crude, often in the same breath, and an intelligence that is worn lightly. It is one of the least demanding sitcoms on television – and one of the most charming.

It works, in other words – which is quite special for supernatural-based light entertainment. Outside of Ghostbusters, spook-related comedies usually fail, as if they are themselves accursed. Ghosts is sweet, but with a little edge, the special effects unobtrusively done.

Ghosts is easily the best sitcom to come out of the U.K in some time (Besides Ricky Gervais'wonderful Afterlife) it's really the full package, great writing and fantastic characters played to perfection by the brilliant cast. There are moments of poignancy, but on the whole it's a comedy, and that it truly shines. great fun all round. Ghosts is now in it's second season which is equally as good if not better. do yourself a favour and give it a try.
