At times it all feels a tad hyperactive, but this young cast are firestarters who blow up the screen with seamless ensemble playing beyond their years.

With this delightful and boldly distinctive new series, the co-creator of "Seinfeld" has managed to accomplish two seemingly impossible things at once: He has given HBO its best sitcom since "The Larry Sanders Show," and given all of television the best sitcom since "Seinfeld." [13 Oct 2000]

Very long time I heard good reviews about this but always was not sure about watching until this year I finally watched it (mostly binge watched) and it really is so funny and great!

This is the season-12 premiere, so there’s a lot to establish. .... It’s fun to think of the ways this show has grown over time in its ambitions and scope (while still remaining petty and small as ever). Watching Larry argue with Siri is great.

In the first of the new episodes, David seems all too eager to reach, and even stretch, for laughs. ... The good news is that as the weeks go on ... the show gets better and better, until the barnacles of self-consciousness fall off and David gets back to his old stride. It only requires a bit of patience, in other words, and viewers who find the first couple of episodes disappointing should stay with it, because at its lunatic best, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is still one of the absolutely funniest half-hours on television. It's a funny episode, boisterously so in parts, but it's difficult to shake the feeling that we've seen this before. After eight seasons, it's started to become too easy to spot Curb Your Enthusiasm's patented ironic twists and callback gags coming a mile away.

I know there are a lot of people out there who can’t get enough of it, all the irritation and the narcissism and the racial tension and the yelling. But I’m not one of those people....Curb Your Enthusiasm leaves me just...well, a little bored.

How is this show so incredibly good? Larry David knows how to write & act. Cast is phenomenal. Just a must see, it's all so cleverly done.

The content and humor is not as natural and free-flowing as old Curb was. With the rise of popularity, Larry's actions in S10 and S9, I feel, are forced and overacted. Jeff's character has become too developed. Not as funny as older seasons.

The first few seasons are good then it just becomes annoyingly stupid, trying too hard to be funny. Larry David has a license to be racist, sexist, and **** on religion yet at the very least make funny. In 2024 it feels like a hopeless romance with the Seinfeld formula with a elderly bigot at its helm.

Season 10 is about pushing the Hollywood political agenda. Talking about politics is nothing new for Larry David, but this season starts out over the top. When are people going to understand that these people are nothing like any of us and the money they spend to influence politicians is not because they want to help any of ****'s to help themselves. Won't be watching this season.
