Archer

By giving these fantastic characters someone new to talk to, something new to do, the show has found its latest, and one of its most successful, reinventions. Just in time to end, sure—but there is, in the end, something to be said for going out on top.

By combining the traditional elements of spy dramas (and spy parodies) with office comedy, this look inside the halls of ISIS manages to be both an effective spoof and an effective character sitcom.

It's FX scoring again with another out of the box, jump-in-your-face series that most assuredly isn't for everyone but most definitely knows what it's doing.

The work is different, but personality-wise, Archer and his comrades are much the same. At least at first. The show seems to be giving itself license to explore.

Archer is funny. If you don't agree after the first episode, keep watching. You might try drinking a little coffee or having a doughnut before you tune in, though, because the zingers fly by pretty quickly.

Suffice to say that Archer will probably appeal to viewers who like their comedy literate, demented and subversive.

I think its jokes are predictable and its '60s-era styling is tired.

Archer very funny and just spectacular but it was let down by season 9 and then picked up again other than that very witty and unusual.

Some seasons were a bit lacking, but overall I liked it a lot - it did have 14 seasons and a special. Might return in future, but I doubt it

Definitely one of my favourite shows. Brilliantly written with some of the funniest characters in any show. The adult humour and inuendo work perfectly. They somehow manage to keep gags running across multiple seasons and still be funny. It's been consistently great for 12 seasons. BUT... But it should have ended at season 12. Until 12 it was still excellent. Not as good as earlier seasons but still very good. But now, season 13 feels like they're just refusing to let it go. They're dragging it, kicking and screaming even though it just wants to die. They really needed to let it end gracefully with the last season.

The first four seasons of Archer are probably some of the best seasons of any adult animation show. Sadly it has had multiple identity crises since and took the same downfall the Simpsons had over the course over three decades, but in only a few short years. Show continually tries to 'shake things up' doing drastic changes in scenery but relies on the same episode formula, the same predictable 'plot twists' and same jokes.

Oh putain, c’est une espèce de South Park chez les agents secrets ! le style graphique n’est pas aussi immonde certes mais au final, c’est tout comme. Donc ça ne vole pas haut, juste au niveau du caniveau et de la cuvette de chiotte et comme ‘South Park’, gros succès ! (plus c’est débile et golio, plus ça **** toute façon, il suffit de balancer des gros mots pour faire rire les ados et adulescents (drogués au cannabis), du classique, ouais ouais ouais. Les doubleurs français ont l’air de bien s’amuser dans cet étron de série prétentieuse qui pète plus haut que son cul mais nous on se fait bien chier. Il y a plein de gros mots dans cette critique, donc vous pouvez rire, bordel de merde.
