A beautiful on-rails shooter that delivers furious deep space combat on a presentational front. Sadly, its grasp for strategic action doesn't quite work and those underlying mechanics simply can't support its repetitive framework.

Tales 5 might not have the strongest puzzles, but it manages to close the story with humour and drama. It means this entire series will go down in Monkey Island history, performance issues aside.
Darker and grittier than its cheery predecessors, but sets up the right tone for the finale. It continues the tradition of sharp dialogue and puzzles, but also shoddy performance.
Spinner Cay is certainly the weakest instalment in the Tales series, but still holds its own with a good few hours of top jokes and puzzles. Horrible performance issues rear their ugly head too often for a strong recommendation.
