Halo 5: Guardians is an entertaining action adventure whose fate rests on whether the online mode works or not (still to early to raise the green flag). Besides that, it's a really well made Halo game. The graphics are detailed, and the frame rate is smoother that ever. The campaign is solid enough, but lacks those memorable moments that defined the first couple of games in the series.
Hearts of Stone is an outstanding expansion and yet another testament to CD Projekt RED:s masterful storytelling. Interesting characters and clever dialogue help to create a dark and engaging adventure that no fan of the main game ought to miss.
Guitar Hero : Live is a comprehensive title, with several really interesting features. It contains a really entertaining online mode, and a pretty nice new guitar. But at the same time, we learned this concept already several years ago, and despite a long break, it is doubtful that the craving has come back.
By taking a step away from hours of cutscenes and codec conversation, and instead focusing on pure gameplay, Metal Gear Solid V is an unfamiliar but ultimately great and lengthy experience. It would have been nice with some more time spent on the characters and story, but it is a fair compromise with the new open world direction. Metal Gear Solid V is a great evolution for the series and it is a shame that the new direction will not reach its full potential due to Konami's probable withdrawal from the console world.
