Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! is a standout retro shooter that takes us back to a bygone era of first-person shooters. Fans of the series will have a blast slaughtering arachnids or wreaking havoc in the Federation, and it’s also a solid choice for veterans of the genre. It’s a far cry from the big-name shooters and doesn’t break any new ground, but it more than delivers on what you’d expect from a classic Starship Troopers game. A fun game that doesn’t set false expectations and gets straight to the point, with the occasional dash of sarcastic genius.

The vast array of possibilities it offers is a playground for those who enjoy world-building and management. It might not be the most original thing, but within the Pokémon world, it certainly is. Pokémon Pokopia does little harm and much good.
