It’s a strange-looking, odd-feeling film that gestures toward mystery and larger conspiracy, but it seldom pulls on these threads. Instead, it ends up an anodyne political drama that says little of note.

This disaster can’t be waved off as shallow escapism because “Tyler Perry’s Duplicity” fails on that level too, possibly keeping bored people engaged enough to follow its mystery but never really entertained.

Duplicity was dope! I love supporting my black actor and actress. I love the plot twist in the movie. Phenomenal job by kat graham per usual! Flawless. I would recommend this movie. Amazon keep giving Tyler money.

Not every movie has to change your life, but some can’t even keep you awake. Duplicity is one of those. It tries to sell itself as a thought-provoking thriller, but all it delivers is a series of flat, soulless scenes that fail to engage or move **** overall feeling is like watching one of those lazy Sunday afternoon TV movies, but without the unintentional charm they sometimes have. Everything here is dull, predictable, and poorly executed. The script lacks punch, and the actors don’t seem to believe a word they’re saying. Sure, there are plot twists, but they arrive either too late or too clumsily, and instead of surprising, they confuse—or worse, **** someone recommends this film to you, be suspicious: either they have really strange taste, or they secretly dislike you. It's hard to find anything redeemable here. Even being generous, it barely qualifies as background noise. And that’s if you have a fever and can’t find the **** short, one of those films you forget before the credits even finish rolling.
