It’s a fascinating look not only at this particular character and his wide reach, but at the evolution of the Internet, its utopian possibilities for connection, and the dark side of its power to expose and harm individuals within the system.

Farrier doesn’t overlook the amusing oddness of such a strange corner of the internet, but treats the subjects of the videos respectfully.

This is actually insane. Everyone and I mean everyone should watch this because it is a sobering reminder that there are people like in the world. I won’t spoil the plot because half the impact but take this information with you as you watch. David D’Amato showed up at a screening of this movie, there is available footage of this, it happened. Now go watch this and keep that in mind.

Fascinating, shocking, upsetting, certainly entertaining. Unless you watch it you won't know how it's not only about a fetish but about brave journalism and the rich villains of this world.

What’s most significant, though, is the merciless nature of the cyberbullying, and the terrifying ease with which it’s inflicted. Tickled opens a smudged window on a dark alley of contemporary life.

Engaging and constantly surprising.

The helplessness one gets being pinned down and tickled, the chilling fear of that, nicely parallels the chill and fear of reporting a story powerful people don’t want reported, which Farrier shows us in this odd and shocking expose.

Tickled inspires many laughs throughout but, true to its subject, more and more of them are born of discomfort as it goes on — part of you wants it all to stop even as you’re amused.

A fascinating and sobering look into something so strange and insidious, it begged to be analyzed and investigated. Farrier's dedication to unveiling such an extensive, cult-like criminal network results in a compelling and engaging film unlike any other. Definitely at least worth a look from most viewers, if only for its willingness to so deeply investigate its fascinatingly weird premise.
