Critic Reviews

There’s merit — and in fact, real present need — for what The Mindfulness Movement is trying to say, but the film often gets in its own way.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that the tenor of the movie is almost unbearably cheesy and sometimes verges on infomercial territory.

An earnest, over-stuffed infomercial for the potential and benefits of practicing mindfulness.

I fully endorse the message blatantly expressed by Beemer’s picture, but as a work of cinema, it drove me nuts in how its style was antithetical to the principles its numerous subjects were championing.
