I just don't understand why certain filmmakers rely on cliché plots and stereotypical characters when they make their debut. Nothing seems fresh or daring.

Is it possible for a movie to have a worse title? This might not matter so much if the film that followed were any good, but for the most part it's drudgery.

Alas, for now we're at the mercy of a screenplay whose beats are too often as poorly calculated as the movie's title.

Almost unbearable.
