About five times as funny as "Scary Movie 3."

Writing, casting and pacing are vital. Scary Movie 4 doesn't let any gag get stale. It's rapid-fire, hit-and-miss and hit-and-strike comedy.

The rhythmic machinery of a chaotic distortion: A 5.0-star sensational surge of parodic perfection.2011(5.0)I watched "Scary Movie 4" in 2011, and it delivered a visceral revelation that stands as a definitive 5.0-star pillar of high-tension absurdity in my archive. This experience **** the fourth wall of the stagnant horror genre by infusing David Zucker’s raw and relentless slapstick with a rhythmic energy that felt 100% chewy and sophisticated. The narrative rhythm was far from stagnant; instead, it offered a rhythmic journey through the pathetic tropes of "War of the Worlds" and "The Village," leaving me in a state of absolute hororong as the parody of Tom Cruise’s erratic behavior synchronized with sensational comedic timing. Seeing Anna Faris’s vivid commitment to the chaos provided an emotional payoff that felt both raw and authentic, proving that a fourth installment could be a vivid act of storytelling rebellion against franchise fatigue. The 95% preservation of my memory is dominated by the rhythmic, raw humor of the alien invasion and the vivid but pathetic struggle of the protagonists to survive their own stupidity, creating a permanent, sensational scar of pure joy on my soul. Unlike the stagnant 3.0-star drift of "Cats & Dogs" or the pathetic execution of "Return of the Noble Family," this encounter possessed a rebellious soul that turned a pathetic premise into a sensational masterpiece of wit. It stands in my 2011 record as a powerful 5.0-star testament to the raw power of visual comedy—a high-tension encounter with the vivid rhythm of the ridiculous that remains one of the most chewy artifacts of my cinematic journey.

This movie is hilarious but one part did kinda scare me. But I won't spoil it. The movie is funny and brings back one of the hilarious characters...Brenda!

The best parts come in the rare moments when the film decides to break from formula, as when old Zucker-team warhorse Leslie Nielsen returns as the U.S. President.

Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil open Scary Movie 4 with an achingly unfunny couple of minutes of severed limbs and errant hoop shots.

The series has turned into the cinematic equivalent of a flat bicycle tyre – it starts off with lots of air in it, but can quickly go flat when punctured.

Isn't it amazing to see just how low some people will stoop if you pay them enough?

So lazy it's downright boring, something not even a naked Leslie Nielson (!) can salvage.

This was humorous and yet too goofy. I would say that this isn't one of the best Scary Movies I've seen, but I like this film. Some disturbing moments, but hilarious dialogue.

Another hilarious Scary Movie. I like the whole series really. Scary Movie 4 makes fun of War of the Worlds, The Grudge, The Village, and Saw. Also some Cinderella Man and Brokeback Mountain.

One of the stupidest movies I've ever watched. It's still enjoyable in a so-bad-it's-funny sorta way. Lots of jokes are funny because they aren't funny, but some of them can hit a bullseye(the Detroit & heart attack jokes are some examples). There's some gross-out humor which I'm not a fan of, but it's definitely the best possible sequel to the first Scary Movie. Certainly better than Scary Movie 2...

Scary movie 4 is a typical parody film that does not skillfully parody horror films. At the same time, the main storyline why, then Spielberg's film radiates Sci-Fi in general. And it doesn't make it funny at all. Scary movie 4 is the most boring and secondary part in the series at the time of its release.

Scary Movie 4 is not good, another victim to the "stupidity" category. Other than delivering a few **** laughs the movie kinda fails in every way. The plot is just plain whimsical and I couldn't understand half the crap going on, they parodied great horror movies to create this one stupid comedy movie. The acting is fairly decent but the dialogue is **** too, it sounded like an immature 12 year old wrote, full of toilet jokes and dumb inappropriateness. Overall, Scary Movie 4 is bad and I don't recommend it to any one unless you're looking for some **** laughs. Breakdown for "Scary Movie 4": Presentation: 3.5, Plot: 2.1, Dialogue: 2.0, Acting: 4, Lasting Appeal: 3.0. Score: 3.2 out of 10 "Bad"
