Stone takes his characters right over the top, rubbing our noses in our own lust for excess, and some viewers are bound to say that he's gone too far. Yet this may be one case where too far is just far enough-where a gifted filmmaker has transformed his own attraction to violence into an art of depraved catharsis.

A simply f+++ masterpiece about a society full of lies and hyporcrisy. A detailed genius work and beautiful art. This movie shows very detailed what the modern society is and and creates: monsters produced by an inhuman society filled with liers, pretenders, foolers and dumb people. Lambs under lions. Who are the killers? Who are the "real" killers?? Very great piece of art and an timeless masterpiece made by a great director. By far Oliver Stones best work! No E.T, no Walking Dead and no Terminator! This movie is toooo smart for the average people. It is just about the real world, where the demons always win.

Above average acting from Woody, Tommy, and Robert, and a decent performance from miss Lewis. Stone is, as always, just a little bit full of himself, but nevertheless he's made an interesting and fairly original creation.

Our culture may be drifting toward the sort of calamity that Stone describes in Natural Born Killers, but the hysteria he depicts seems to come from within him. His soul is in turmoil and so he keeps trying to convince us that we're sick.
As a satire on the media's infatuation with violence and murderers, Natural Born Killers hits the bullseye. The problem is, this is a one-note movie. It repeatedly hammers home the same point until the audience is bludgeoned into senselessness.

Brilliantly done statement of our current stage of evolution. I was a little indecisive on Natural Born Killers. It is just so weird! But it is different! This is a movie that will either love or hate. I don't think there is a character in this movie that is not crazy. Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis were both really great as the movie's anti-heroes. I also have to give credit to Robert Downey Jr. for pulling **** Australian accent for his character Wayne Gale. Olive Stone wanted to provide several themes with this movie and the only way to figure it out is the watch the movie yourself.

While it is very interesting to think about and is decently enjoyable once the cast gets in prison, the rest of the movie is a chore to watch. It was really a painful experience. Rating- 34%

This film never quite got off the ground for me. Harrelson and Lewis give decent performances along with an all-star cast. I was waiting for something more and each passing scene was as uneventful as the next. Yeah, the satire is evident, the case study is mildly interesting, and all of Stone's criticism and subliminal evaluations of society and the establishment are there, but it all just doesn't quite come together. The film is an edited mess and after viewing it, I found myself trying to figure out what everyone has been gushing about for the past 17 years.
