Like Mike has a lot of heart and has some sharp performances. The story between a professional basketball player and an orphan really touched me, and even though I felt uninterested a little bit, I think it would appeal greatly to kids and basketball fans, as well as being a little fun for some adults too.

This movie is a good but not great family comedy film with cool NBA tricks. Some of the acting was a little bit off, but otherwise Like Mike is a good family movie.

This Flubbery fantasy won't win any prizes for elegant craftsmanship or originality, but it's entertaining, good-natured and a slam dunk to be a hit with young kids.

It's not so much a movie as a joint promotion for the National Basketball Association and teenaged rap and adolescent poster-boy Lil' Bow Wow.

Lil' Bow Wow deserves a better-made film than this pleasant, sloppily assembled fairy tale.
30
A harmless, if ultimately inane, fantasy-comedy vehicle for youngsta-rapper Lil' Bow Wow, a 15-year-old who's already an alarmingly accomplished scene stealer.
10
A valueless kiddie paean to pro basketball underwritten by the NBA.

Like "Rookie of the Year", you get what you expect, and should understand between fact and fantasy, and know that before you review or see a movie, that you would be by-partison or biast too. I Happen to know the fine line between fact and fantasy, or fiction, yet this film is just a perfectly innoccent children's film. A no-brainer for parents to let thier kids watch.
