As action pictures go, this one isn’t exciting enough to make up for the tedious pacing or the outright silliness of the script and the woodenness of the performers.

I actually quite liked it, it was like a somber version of Commando. The setting worked really well for the theme of film and there is some serious muscle on display too. It's not an instant classic or something you'd watch twice but it's worth a watch if you like revenge based action themed movies.

This movie is only 127 minutes but felt much longer because of the dry dialogue and lackluster plot.
